I have dealt with this scrap yard before with mostly good results, but because I feel I’m a woman they try to over charge or give me very little !! Thing is I know alittle . Anyways back to what I was getting out I just made a phone call to them was ask a simple question and very rudely Said we don’t carry cars parts here so don’t call here. Asking stupid questions like that anymore. called him and ask him for that car part if he didn’t advertising that he had parts for cars.
They wanted to charge me $25 for 30ft of scrap orange extension cord. No plugs on it, taped up in places, and dirty.
I went to Fred Meyer and bought a new one, with plugs, 50ft, for $16.
Me and my friend sat in our car for a good five minutes before being acknowledged at all. Then once we were, the gentleman helping us was very short and abrasive. He complained that we didn't have very much metal and that it wasn't worth his time. And when he finally got around to giving us money for it, he threw the cash at me and walked off without a word or any form of receipt. I would've asked for the items back and gave him his money had we not been in a hurry. I figured that process would have taken him even longer than the first one. Will not be going back.
