AR1 Auto Parts and Sales JunkYard in Yakima (WA)

Looking for wheels to use as dedicated snow tires, I called three(3) place local to me. AR1 had what I needed, at a reasonable price, and even agreed to stay open a few minutes past their closing time because I work out of town, and might not have been able to make it to them by 5pm. I consider that good customer service.

Tried for 3days to order on line, talked to 4 different people, but the call would drop while waiting on hold. One call held for 57 mins, and I hung up. I called and finally got a person that took care of me, in a matter of minutes. Parts were delivered right away! I was surprised how quickly they arrived. I think it was 2 days.

I do not recommend this place they ordered a head light for my car came late and it wasn’t the right one they said. They were going to exchange it for the right one to leave my Brocken head light to compare when the right one came in it never came in they keeped my head light and claimed that it got thrown away while. Being in there care not professional at all by that and. I had to be calling and calling them they would put me on hold and. Hang up..all the guy said was sorry like. How do you tell someone to leave there thing with them and. They can’t take care of while in there care it’s a lie that head light is worth $600 dolors they probably keeped it and. Repaired it really unprofessional of them for that I should of read the reviews seems like the same problem Stay Away From This Place !!!!!!

I ordered a Honda rim it took over 5 Days and multiple times stops in there to just tell me it would be here the next Day which it never happened then they charged me $96.00 for a used rim they also were rude about it like they were being put out wouldn't recommend get parts from them stay away!! Stay away from this place!! BEWARE Jesus is a manipulative liar and will make it seem like he’s going above and beyond for you until he makes a mistake and doesn’t stand up on his word. He will order you parts stating he needs a VIN number for the vehicle you are ordering parts for but will still order the wrong parts, make you pay for them before ordering them and when you come back to return any parts he will deny that he ordered them wrong and that it was a mistake from the seller for the part. Wouldn’t take back parts that were wrong and scams you out of your money. So please be very careful and pay attention to what you’re ordering because he will make a mistake. Also there is no management available at any time. They will steer you and give you the run around when you ask for management. The worst business to make any type of business with. If I could give them -0 I would. Never coming back here again!

They were really friendly until I wanted to return something. I paid online and when i got there the part was wrong and i wanted to get refund. If you wanna return something even on same day, even if you didn’t use it they’ll charge you 25%. So if you paid $1000 for a part they return 750 instead $1000Do not recommend them, their policy is a scam. Worse experience I ever had.

Ordered an ABS module for a dodge journey, found a specific part number i needed to properly install. They ended up not having the part number and instead sent me a different unit with a different part number. They guaranteed it was compatible and would work. Installed and the board was fried. Zero communication. It then took over a week to finally have them acknowledge and refund after several calls.

Oscar was awesome to deal with, did everything they could to save me some money as well. I work at a different yard and it’s good to know there are other companies that make buying easy, even with how busy they are, they still made sure to follow up with me. Thank you again!

The person I spoke with was very polite and let me know they could order my part right away. Transaction was quick, and I got my part within a week. Their business was recommended, and I will be recommending in the future as well.

Service was helpful until there was a problem. I can't count how many times I've heard, I will talk to my manager and call you right back.". It was only outdone by "let me put you on hold. For just a second. " update. It's been a month. I heard I'll call you right back again today. Latest Jesus lie. The part is waiting to be shipped. Same thing that was said 9 days ago. When I asked to speak with shipping, he told me they did not have a phone. I guess he is running out of stories as they are getting more wild. By the way Jesus goes by Joe when it suits them.

well priced . Was expecting my part to arrive Tuesday but got here Thursday. But joe was kind enough to stay after hours to make sure I got my part by Thursday since I get off work late. would still definitely recommend AR1 for your quick needs been a client for a while and not disappointed. Great place to find vehicle parts .

A friend of mine recommended me to go here and they had just the part I was looking for. I was immediately greeted and asked if I could be helped with anything or if I was looking for anything specific. The guy's name was Oscar, he was very friendly and helpful. Within minutes he was able to locate the part I needed for my vehicle and helped me with purchasing it right away. While I was purchasing the part he let me know that it normally takes 24 hours to get a part pulled but that he was going to do his best to try and get it to me before the end of the day. He was very considerate of the fact that the part we need is for my AC to work and having two small children how important it is to get it working ASAP with the weather being so hot. He also came outside and looked at my vehicle and is going to look for a few more parts that I need. If you want excellent customer service and not just a pushy salesmen along with great deals go see Oscar. I highly recommend going and checking them out!

My first time ordering from AR1 and having the part shipped to my Address. It went very smooth And all my questions were answered by Jesus. He explained everything well and I had no problems following instructions. I will be ordering from this place again.

Such a great group of people. We needed a transmission from them and we sent our office manager to pick it up. As soon as she walked into their very busy store she was greeted and told where she needed to go. Oscar and Azi were so super helpful. They unloaded the core transmission for her and loaded the new transmission and made sure it was securely tied down for her long drive back over the pass. The only negative thing I would say is that I didn't like the credit card fee when buying such an expensive item already. But we would gladly buy from these guys again.

Excellent customer service, prices are fair, and they have a well stocked yard. I worked with Lupe and Oscar to get a speedometer and a Toyota engine, and they both made sure everything regarding the transaction was clear. Although AR1 was very busy when I visited, both individuals made time to take me out to the yard or leave their desk to talk to me and ensure I was satisfied with my purchases.

Great customer service both times I’ve gotten parts here. Joe helped me this last time. They had the parts when one else did and when i couldn’t find parts anywhere they called me back weeks later when the part came in!! Highly recommended.

I had great experience with this shop and would recommend them. They are well organized all the way from answering on questions via phone and paying thru messages. Jesus was really friendly and helped me to get part for my Ford Explorer. They offered me shipping to Vancouver, WA in reasonable price but I had some things to finish in Yakima so I’ve stopped by. They went over and beyond with the assistance and I had replaced my damaged hood on their parking and they took my for free of charge. Would definitely come again. Also I would recommend them to keep posting part paint code on the website.

Don’t recommend to buy from them. They Missunderstood and sold me wrong part. After I wanted return it they changed me 25% “restocking fee” which is 75$ from my 300$. Salesman unprofessional and will do anything to not return you your money in full amount

Great staff, was able to get the parts I needed and have them pulled for a great low price!!! As a working woman with no experience with auto work, it was nice to know they were taking care of it. Joe helped find the part I needed. It is refreshing to see genuine customer service. Joe was super quick corresponding via text as we worked to verify the part was correct for my vehicle. Jesús was great at first! I had given this place a 5 star. But after hours of being on hold for my parts, and no one could tell me where they were. They always said they would call back but never did. I honestly think Jesus never order the parts. He kept telling me it would get here different days. When my husband showed up to their place they couldn’t even find a tracking number to our order. This place gave me a headache. Never again will I consider buying here! And you shouldn’t either! If I could give it a zero star I would!!!

Oscar was very helpful with great customer service. Unlike all the other wrecking yards In town instead of just telling he didn't have the part he did a search and was able to order it from another yard. When they didn't ship the part he sent a guys to pasco specifically for my part the day it was supposed to be delivered. Thanks Oscar and AR 1!
