If you can beat the mosquitoes in the late summery or humid evenings and follow the locals to a few secret spots you'll definitely find yourself in some places with the potential for fun
Love this park. It’s big with lots of trail and you can throw parties here because there are two gazebos with tables. River is close by, you can go swimming during warmer months.

At the time of our visit in May it was Mosquito free. They have cleared out quite a few trees in the area, it should improve unless the weather is hot and water isn't moving. Plan accordingly folks, it is nature. You should have mosquito repellent with you.
A wonderful place for a picnic or a nature walk. Bring mosquito repellent if it's during the summer months, as with any place near the water.
You will find the area clean and uncrowded.
