Jerry was great, I can’t say enough good things about our experience. He was very responsive, very fairly priced and we had a somewhat complicated drop off location and he was able to get our broken trailer placed carefully exactly where we needed it. We will 100% use Pete’s Towing in the future if we need it!
Great customer service, showed up quickly on a Sunday evening, with a friendly attitude and towed our broken car home for a reasonable price. Stress free. Recommend!

I was across the street from the dump making my garbage dump.
My 1969 chevy pickup died partially in the intersection full of garbage. Next to me is Jerry from Pete's towing asking me if Im ok and says he can tow me across the street to get out of traffic.
Seriously, you cant make this stuff up... He gets me out of the road and says he has a drop a car off and will come back to tow me to my house in Artondale. 15 minutes later and tows me to my house.

Is it weird that this will be my go-to towing service? I don't want to a live a lifestyle that has that... but, without a doubt, I would use Pete's again.
Had to get my car towed home from a broken ball joint, he showed up and was very careful while loading and unloading making sure that no further damage was done to the car. Charged a fair price and also came within 15 mins of me calling. Excellent service at a fair price!
This guy gave me a great deal on towing my truck from Lakebay to Olalla. He came through when AAA failed. My brother in Lakebay has used him before too with wonderful results!
Our car had broke down with me and my husband and two little kids. And if it wasn't for Jerry at Pete's
towing and his excellent service and work. We would have been sitting in our car for even longer. He was our life saver after hours of trying to find a towing for our car, especially at 12am where no other towing company would. If you ever need a tow I highly recommend this company. I really appreciate the service.
We were stranded at the Lakebay post office a couple weeks ago when the engine failed to start. We were just returning from a cancer treatment in Gig Harbor for my wife. I tried in vain several times to start the car with no results. A kind post office patron even attempted to jump start the car. I finally determined it was probably the starter. We called our son who was 3 miles away and he took us home. I returned to the post office with another vehicle to wait for a tow for the car. After sitting at the post office for several hours and many phone calls later to various towing businesses who would not come to my aid , my wife from our home called Pete's Towing and notified me on my cell phone that Jerry from Petes was on his way. Within ten minutes he was there and had the car hooked up and towed it home within minutes. This guy was great. He is professional, and friendly and we liked his service so much that we are planning to have him come out and tow our car to a repair shop in Tacoma this Wednesday. It can be hard to find an outfit today that puts the customer first. This company does just that. That is why we will continue to call them whenever we need them and recommend them to anyone.
He was responsive, affordable and did exactly what was needed in a timely manner. We needed to move a 20'x8' shipping container to another location on our property. Great service and reasonably priced.
The best- not one of, but the best towing experience I've had. I felt that both myself and my car were very safe, and both people in the truck were very kind, sociable, and fun people to talk to. The dogs they had with them only served to brighten my frankly terrible day. This guy perfectly parked my car off the truck well within the lines of a proper parking spot! I can't say enough about how good they were!
They have towed me once ...came and started my car when I was stick at home Depot ...very warm, friendly, neighborly...don't understand the bad reviews... definitely not my experience
My truck broke down in Port orchard the other day but my dad was with me and knew jerry and told me to call Pete's towing he came out and towed me all the way home for a good deal.my dad and i are currently stuck in Puyallup right now as I am writing this review we called Jerry and he is on his way right now is I am writing this . Couldn't ask for a better tow service
Wow just great service all around ! Came out and moved a shed I sold and it went great ! No one wanted to come out and try to move it but he did and he did it just so professionally! Great customer service !!
Pete's Towing is a very capable towing company. Not only is he very capable about how to hook up your vehicle without further damage and get the vehicle to a repair shop but he even makes sure you have a ride home. Can't beat his rates either! When I need another tow, his company will be the only one I call. As far as the bad reviews from the "Munsons", you people have a major problem! You need a more meaningful life other than harassing the Voss family and Pete's Towing. Didn't you just go to court on harrassment charges and the Voss' did win their case despite your lies and perjury... weren't you ordered by the judge to "stop" your harrassment towards the Voss family and Pete's Towing? So why would any sane person continue the lies? Do you think you are beyond the law, you don't have to comply by the judge's orders? And as far as you thinking you are part of the community YOU ARE NOT! You have no right to lie about a decent and hard working family like the Voss family, or try and ruin a local business (Petes Towing) that we all need and want in our community! Shame on you!

A driver nearly ran me off the freeway and when I got beside him to flip him off he slowed down, got behind my small sports car and road my ass going 70mph. I took some pictures of the cars license plate and the ID number and called the company to file a complaint, where I was yelled at and told it was entirely my fault. There was zero concern about how unsafe their driver was driving the truck. Disgusting company and customer service.
These guys are awesome! Totally helped me out, even though I could tell they were busy, while I was in a bind! On top of that they were a better price than anyone else! Highly recommended to all! I will call them next time for sure.
Why was my review removed? This is most certainly not fake-he towed my Land Rover twice, and I have the canceled checks to prove it, as I chose not to pay cash, as he wished. We have been in a dispute-he was furious when he had to move his junkyard off of my property and has been harassing us ever since.Worst tow I ever had. Unprofessional and creepy. Also damaged my car. Drove it to his own house, rather than a tow lot where he had dozens of junk cars all over his yard. Offered to "fix" it cheaper than a real mechanic would. No thanks.
After being stuck in a parking lot in Federal Way for 4 days and every place we called quoting us a minimum of $600 we got in touch with Pete's Towing here in Lakebay.
Not only was he very professional, he was prompt and willing to work with us. We only ended up paying $350 to tow a 29ft Class A Motorhome 43 miles.
Very pleased with the service and hospitality of the owner/driver. We were treated like humans and with dignity not like lower than trash because of being low income.
Will most certainly use again.
I was hoping I would not have to do this again to defend a family I know as hardworking, fair and honest and all they are asking is let them run their family owned business which Jerry has built up from practically nothing. That is not an easy thing to do especially in our econemy mess we live in. When Jerry and Stacy bought this home fourteen years ago it had been a farm but was empty and needed much work. Little by little as they raised their two boys and worked hard they took all the barb wire down and have made their yard look like a park. A perfect place to raise their family. Then who would ever guess their lives could change because of who moved in in the back of them. The Munsons have a history of causing great pain and frustration to those who live next to them. Don't take my word for it but people were willing to testify in the Voss's harresment suit that was setteled in Jerry and Stacy's favor. Sheilia , just for you information, when you have to pay the court costs and pay a wounded party a settelment that means you LOST!!!!! It is all in the Public records and can be checked out . I only speak facts here and told Stacy and Jerry and the kids that when you speak the truth in court you will prevail and they did. But you Munsons seem to want to keep going and the Voss' chose to take the high road and will continue to do so your lying and making up things as you go will come back to bite you. How you have lived with yourselves is beyond me . I have been to Bbqs at the Voss' and seen and heard your crazieness. You Barry called me a old worthless woman and could not see me for the tarps you put up so you jumped up and down. I did not take offense because I am a very respected old woman and I considered the source. I have so many more facts about you folks ( I surf the internet also) and if you want to keep this going you will find many more people who are livid by what you are doing. I hope your consience and your heart does the right thing and just move on and find out kindness is so much nicer to have in your life. For those who use Pete's Towing you know the good prices you get and the good service you get. I have only written facts here and they all plus many more can be checked on. Jerry is Not doing anything illegal, he is bonded ,license and pays thousands of dollars on insurance every year. He now even takes credit and debit cards so it is easier for his customers. What America needs right now is for people to be kind to each other and work together not against each other. That is what makes our country great. I plead with you Munson's be kind to the Voss' and everyone you meet. Your life will be so much better. I will not go on refuting Sheila's claims because really the only one who believes them is Shelia herself who is clearly delusional. I asked her nicely to stop as have others and she feels it necessary to keep going. The tow she had from Jerry happened a long time ago so it is clear she will not use his service again but why does she keep bringing it up? My answer has to be retaliation. The Munson's lost and this is there way of getting back. My question then is to google??? Jerry Voss runs a tow truck business PERIOD!!! How is it this vindictive woman (Sheila Munson) can write about junk yards, auto repair and/or anything else that she can think of and even though you have been advised you only take these reviews offfor a day or so and then they pop back up. All you need to do is call Pierce Co. Planning and they will truthfully tell you Pete's Towing (Jerry Voss) status with the co. and or the Pierce Co. courts and you shall learn the truth. No one is perfect and may have a complaint but this is all untruths and slander and needs to be stopped.
I will not use this service again! After sitting on the side of the road over two hours, the driver was rude and rough with my car. He also was speeding while he towed it, very unsafe! Pete should fire "Jerry Voss", he is a very unprofessional driver.
On Jan. 18th Charged us $326. to pull us out of the ditch. The website said $90 per hour. Didn't take him the whole hour and he didn't tow the car anywhere. I called AAA but they couldn't get out to where my car was stuck, so I tried to "shop local" and call Pete's Towing. A mistake I will not be making again. My husband felt I should share the fact that he said "you have to give me something" after my husband had already handed him $100. that he had in his pocket. So I took off my wedding ring and handed it over. I was shocked when they actually took it. My husband jumped on the side of the truck and pleaded for them to give my ring back. He rolled up the window and took off with my husband standing on the truck and kept going till he fell off.
UPDATE
Two days after the incident, and after I posted my origional review, we attempted to pay Pete's Towing for the remainder of the bill and they refused payment stating that I needed to remove this review before they would accept payment and return my wedding ring,. I begrugingly removed the review and they still would not accept payment or give me my ring back due to the comment on my review which they claim I wrote. In May of 2012 my insurance company paid the remainder of the tow bill. I called Pete's Towing and requested that they return my ring. Once again, they refused. I had to file a claim in small claims court. Today, 7 months 12 days later I finally have my wedding ring back. I will never use or recommend Pete's Towing ever again.
