Took my car for a routine 30k service to maintain my warranty, needed an oil change and transfer case fluid change done, that’s it. They charged me $800 and 6 hours worth of labor. When asked what exactly took 6 hours I was told “that’s just what the book says”, “we charge the same as what Toyota dealership charges”. When asked if they actually spent 6 hours working on my car I was told “well it was back there for 3”. So they admitted they were charging me for 3 hours of labor that they didn’t do. When asked why they were overcharging me the owner said “well I have to pay rent and pay my guys”, justifying why he was stealing from me. I did end up getting 1 hour of labor refunded after complaining. They straight up admitted they were stealing at this shop, people are just thieves these days go elsewhere!!!
What an amazing shop. They went above and beyond to help me with issues on my Jeep. Very professional, friendly, and fixed the problems with my car that another shop screwed up. Thank you for being trustworthy and thorough.

Absolute Auto was the best experience I've ever had with an automotive repair shop! They provide affordable rates for quality work, but above all their honesty is second to none. I would and have, recommended them to all my family and friends! They are busy for a reason, but worth the wait in scheduling an appointment.
I get routine maintenance on my car there during the year. The staff is friendly and very professional. I recommend this company to anyone that needs any work at all done on their vehicles.
I requested an oil change and front end alignment. While I knew my tires were a little on the old side, Absolute Auto repair stated the alignment would do no good and tire conditions would only bring it back. We decided to change out the tires and perform the alignment at that time. Anytime a situation like this arises, they inform me if the work is necessary or not. They've always looked out for my best interest, saved me time and money, and I have complete faith in all aspects of their business.
I am very satisfied with my repair work. Absolute Auto Repair rebuilt the entire steering front end of my 99 Dakota plus bearings and CV's. They also serviced my transmission, did an engine tune up and installed new shocks.
My front end, i was sure would never roll factory straight again... Does! I'll be back for every repair now..

Vern is my "auto therapist" I own 6 vehicles. I've have had some costly decisions to make. Vern has helped me through them. He has always delivered excellent work at a fair price.
If I could rate 0 stars, trust me, I would. Vern had my vehicle for 3 months off and on and couldn't fix the rear differential whine coming from his newly installed rear differential gear set. This was after a transmission rebuild, which I suspect after hearing the differential whine I probably didnt need, despite Absolute Auto diagnosing the need for one. After multiple tries in which he had every opportunity to fix his poor differential rebuild, we agreed it needed to go to Randys Ring and Pinion (where he bought the parts from) to eliminate Vern' s workmanship from the equation as he claimed his install was perfect and the parts were bad. After Randys pulled it apart they found the pinion was burnt so bad they couldn't verify if it was an install error or bad break in. Keep in mind Vern had the pinion in and out of the truck at least 3 times and never noticed the roasted pinion. Vern then conveniently couldn't remember agreeing on having Randys doing the warranty work (despite the fact Absolute Auto flatbedded the truck to Randys) and claimed Randys was going to warranty the gear set before I stepped in and jumped the gun by allowing Randys to reinstall. News flash, I have a statement from Randys saying they were never going to warranty the gear set. Absolute Auto lied about it and declined to refund my money, about 1300 dollars in whole. Interestingly enough, the pinion set made noise on install, which Absolute never denies, but then wants to say Randys couldn't verify it was an install error and I broke it in improperly... a simple Google search will tell you if a gear set makes noise on install, suspect the install, not to mention it's hard to break something in improperly when you aren't even out of the parking lot. If you're interested in a similar experience, take your shot. If you want a mechanic who is honest, knows what he's doing, and will actually stand by his work when he screws it up, avoid Absolute Auto like the plague. 0 STARS
Vern and Brian are THE BEST in stanwood. Amazing rates and very quick, accurate service. I trust these guys with all my rigs and I send all of my employees to them as well.
