Tacoma Towing Company gave my friend John's 2007 Grey Pontiac Solstice Convertible to an unauthorized person named Michael who told us the owner of the Towing Company was a . good friend of his. He picked up John walking down the freeway with a cane after he ran out of gas and offered his help and assistance when in fact he took total advantage of John. He stole his keys to his car and took time getting gas which resulted in the car being towed to Tacoma Towing Company by the Tacoma State Patrol. When we went in to pay the towing company the fee to retrieve the vehicle he realized he had somehow misplaced his keys so he had no choice but to leave his car until the following day. When we called to let them know we were coming they informed us the car had already been picked up around 8am by this guy named Michael. We asked how and why they released John's vehicle without his authorization and all they said was they didn't know details and that they would find out and call us back. We have reported the incident to the police. This place is not a good business and we plan on taking further legal action to be compensated for the loss and prosecution of these crooks so they are unable to do this to others. John is a disabled veteran and was completely blindsided by this whole situation. Now he is without a vehicle and has no means of transportation to get anywhere. This is a disgrace to humankind. I would never recommend this company to anyone. They are crooks that allowed this car to be stolen. A zero rating is what they get from me but in order to post this I had to give them a rating so I am giving them the lowest number I can. When we spoke with the owner of the Towing Company about what happened he said he was sorry and he was furious and would help look for this person named Michael (his friend) and he acted like he cared and wasn't aware of what happened but he lied to us because later that week he told the police John signed something authorizing this friend Michael to take his vehicle. Now we wonder how many others this Towing Company has done this to. I want everyone aware of a business such as this and scammers like these so they are not victims like us.
This place is above and beyond. They were very respectful organized and on time. Best customer service and the towing driver Phil he was excellent they were very helpful understanding and treated me with empathy.
I spoke with them regarding towing my car for a mechanic shop ( the mechanic shop was a so rude disrespectful and even with agreeing on everything in advance over the phone they refused to take my car) so I had to tow it back. On the other hand the tow company was so understanding of the hard situation I’m in it and didn’t charge me the way back home and even offered to help in case I want to take my car to a different mechanic. For sure will recommend them and will use their services again
I used to think towing companies were cold and heartless—but Tacoma Towing proved me wrong. Mark and Brian went above and beyond with real empathy and care. They treated me like a person. Other places could learn from how they operate. Professional, kind, and truly human. Highly recommend.

My vehicle broke down on an off ramp. Seconds later before I put my hazards on and could even begin to make a call for a tow a driver shows up. He pulls in front of me and offers a free tow to get off the road and over to a shop where he has a pickup. I was so grateful for the kind gesture. The driver's name was Anderson. He was so helpful and amazing. I can't express how much he was so accommodating to me. Thank you Anderson and Tacoma Towing. You are first on my list to call in the future.
Incredible, friendly, full service! My car broke down away from home after grocery shopping. Tacoma Towing responded immediately, towed the car to my mechanic, then delivered me and my groceries to my own home. Above and beyond. Vinnie was warm and accommodating. Couldn't have been a better experience! 100% recommend!
Was in a accident and tpd called this company to take my vehicle while I sorted out insurance stuff Jim and the other staff were so kind and knowledgeable if I needed a vehicle towed again in the future this would be who I call. Also the super hard working nelson was a plus. Thanks guys .
My sons car got towed because a apartment manager wasn’t ok with it being parked there and we thought one of the residents had the authority to say it was ok but Tacoma towing was so helpful and helped us out didn’t over charge us and where super cool even tho we had attitudes because we were upset we were getting towed they handled us with grace and I really appreciated them and how nice they all were when we picked up the car! I will always recommend them from now on!
When I called and asked for the price of a jumpstart I was told it would be $79 for credit or $50 in cash (which already sounded shady.) When the driver arrived he said it would cost $110. Then a few minutes later when I confirmed the price, it was $120. I'm very disappointed with the lack of integrity shown by a company who interacts with people in vulnerable situations.
The few times I have had interactions with these people, have left me wishing it was this easy with all the other towing companies. If your in the tacoma/lakewood area hit them up. Say hey to the dog!
We had our car put here by the local police department after recovering it stolen. They were very nice and made it the simplest step in the stolen vehicle process.
Very friendly and professional service. Nobody wants to get their car towed and I think tow drivers see us when we are not at our best. Still they are able to do a tough job and be nice while doing it Tacoma towing provides a necessary service.

I had a bad day today and to top it off my passenger side tire got exploded today… what a time! Phil thankfully saved my day by rescuing me in a parking lot in Tacoma and taking me to les Schwab to have a new set thrown on (AWD and my tires were low tread) if you’re needing quick and fast towing at a reasonable rate then I’d recommend you try these guys at Tacoma towing cause they were on scene in under 15 mins while everyone else in the area was about 60-90 mins out!!! How crazy is that?!? I also was nearby these other tow places and they still said that ETA!! Tacoma Towing told me they’re sending Phil my way and he even called to give me an updated ETA when he was close by! :) thank you all so much for rescuing me and my RAV4 as I appreciate it greatly!!!
My experience was a nightmare! I am a single mother and Mike and Brian both were rude and intimidating to me infront of my toddler. My car was returned covered in mold inside and they stole my dog kennel and camping lights. I'll be starting another case to retrieve the value of my items asap. Steer far clear from this place.

They completely over charge, $313 for 4 miles! They lie about billing time, rude on the phone. If you're in need a service, look elsewhere. You don't need to their high fees and added stress.

We got a flat tire in my MIL's car at the end of a lady's day out. SO there I am in my 50's with a bad back with my Mother in law and Aunt on the side of the road. I called Tacoma towing because they were a client of my old employer and I new the owners to be honest people. They answered right away and dispateched a truck on a late Saturday afternoon. We needed to get towed to Les Schaub before they closed in 45 minutes to get the tire replaced because it was under warranty. The driver Vinney arrived while my MIL was still on the phone waiting for her roadside service to answer the phone let alone dispatch someone. If she had waited around for them we would never have made it in time. Vinnie got us loaded and to Les schuab in the blink of an eye. AND waited to be sure Les Schaub could help us before leaving us. Vinnie was our super hero that day. They were kind and helpful, which 3 older ladies stuck on the side of the road appreciated very much.
I received a notice that my vehicle had been impounded and it was seating in their yard. When I called to verify to see if the vehicle had already been removed by my daughter the guy asked my why don't I ask my daughter? Which I replied she won't talk to me right now which he replied neither will I and then hung-up the phone! This really seat me back so I called back and the same guy answered and told me he doesn't have any information and to call back on Monday. As I look at the notice, they charge $48.00 buck per day for a storage fee! If my vehicle is unfortunately still there who will pay for the two additional days because he doesn't want to do his job!
I'm sorry other people had a bad experience but we are very happy with Tacoma Towing after my daughter had a blow out on I-5. They were fast and honest! It saved us a lot of money in impound fees.
Customer service A+. I watched my car being picked up on my home cameras, the guy took my car, put planks down, and I was all around satisfied. I was a little scared because the car is lowered, and yet he did it in a breeze. I will definitely be using this company again. I don’t mind pricing if the rest of it all checks out. Price was not bad regardless!

My family was coming back from camping in our van when we blew a rear tire. This was 7pm this past Saturday. I brought up local tow svcs on my phone and chose Tacoma Towing because of their rating. I had a quick conversation with their dispatcher and within 10 minutes was on the phone with Brian, the tow operator. After a couple minutes, in which he mentioned he might have a tire at his shop that would fit (Almost NO tire shops are open Sundays) he told me he'd be to us shortly.
Less than 10 minutes later he pulled up and was hooking our van up. He made room in the back of his truck for me, with my pregnant wife and baby, in our car-seat in the front. He offered to drop my wife off at our house and then take me to the shop to see if we could finds a tire.
At our house, he carried my sons car seat and one of my wife's bags while she carried my son to the door. We then traveled to the shop where he proceeded to point out the Honda Van in his lot and we agreed the tire might fit for the interim until we were able to get it replaced.
Brian spent the next 10 minutes moving vehicles about and lifting up the donor tire van. He then opened up the shop and proceeded to remove and replace my blown tire with the one off the other van. All in all he must have spent 2 hours towing, fixing, replacing the tire.
it was then that I learned that he was the owner. We ended up chatting a bit about our time in Alaska, fishing, etc.
I don't know his rates and never asked, but I am sure he didn't charge me what he could have.
I'll tell you one thing, I have NEVER been treated this well by ANYONE in ANY field as a customer. I have been to Luxury Resorts, 5-star restaurants, spas, etc and never received the total satisfaction I did here. There wasn't one area or concern that I didn't have fulfilled. Brian and Tacoma Towing went so far and beyond ANY expectation I ever had. It was one of those encounters that leaves you with such satisfaction and a renewed appreciation for people and the kindness they can show.
We had a uhaul that needed to be towed back to the uhaul repair center in auburn. Ed greeted us from Tacoma Towing, LLC and he was a delight! He was so patient with all the miscommunication that was going on between uhaul, customers, dispatch etc. He waited patiently here while we finally got all the details sorted out. He cracked some jokes and kept the mood light. Very nice guy!
Today is Jan, 19th . I called because these guys are the towing company for My apartments. My tire had exploded on the free way and I needed to take it to a shop. I personally work in customer service and I was extremely disappoint with the woman on the phone . She was very disrespectful and did NOT do her job. She had no patience even thou she had put me on hold and I was fine, and apparently everyone is deaf if mot they need new phones. I'm sure the drivers are fine but because of her awful attitude not only to me, but my fiance as well , we would rather spend more money with someone else .
Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. The early morning of Nov 25, 2017 a friend and I called looking for a tow and needed a flatbed for the right hand drive Nissan skyline we were driving when we knocked the tire off the bead. The guy who answered was extremely rude, unhelpful, apparently deaf because he couldn't get it through his head that the car we needed towed was a Nissan skyline. Long story short, he copped attitude and hung up on us. We called PARKLAND towing and within 15 mins a flatbed arrived with a friendly driver who had awesome customer service who gave us an amazing deal as well. Tacoma towing is a joke. If I were you, call parkland towing. They have the lowest rates around and are professional without the rudeness! I hope the man who talked to us from Tacoma towing reads this. It's not everyday they get calls to tow skylines so I'm sure he'll remember exactly who we are!
Amazing experience. Had to get towed late at night, Jim came by and helped us out. He was a perfect gentleman, incredibly skilled and kept us calm the whole time. He literally threaded the needle with a our giant van into a tiny driveway. These guys are the BEST!
