The light I needed for my reverse brakes, was only two dollars. I was frantically digging in my car, trying to look for my registry card, to make sure we got the right one. He came out and told me he was about to close, and he would love to help me. He as in the guy that was working here. I imagine he’s the owner. He helped me find the right one and I thanked him profusely for his help!
Helped save us from a dead battery on the beach! He even gave us tools and a hand cart to install the battery! Good people and great service. Can't thank him enough.
Luke is the best! He helped me get a new battery for my car and cleared the error codes I got afterwards for free. He also gave me such great advice for maintaining my vehicle. Best customer service I’ve had in years! Come here, don’t go to Napa. Thanks, Luke :)
Very helpful people here. I thought I needed to buy a new part but didn't end up needing to. They let me borrow tools to fix the issue and helped me problem solve even without buying anything. I would recommend this store and would be happy to go back.
We were in a tough bind trying to fix our car on the weekend when no auto shops in town were open, and Art’s lent us the tools we needed to get ourselves back on the road. Incredible service, and very friendly to boot.

The owner and his employees are all "car guys" who have a broad understanding of automotive repairs and parts.
It's a breath of fresh air to have a parts store that isn't just manned by the usual counter clerks whose only skill is looking up part numbers on the computer.
I had the best experience at Arts auto parts, my car was acting up this morning and I needed to get back to Portland. All of the shops weren’t able to help me out at all until I ended up at Arts. I was beyond blown away by the care and attention from the staff. Incredible customer service and knowledge. I absolutely recommend this place! They know what they are doing and are incredibly skilled and kind. You will be taken care of. Check out this place, if I could give more than 5 stars I would!
Best parts in town! support local business. The other guys don't care gouge you on the price, and are rude to you! Great guys still, bend over backwards to help get what you need. prices are what they are in this economy
Vacationing here when a check engine light came on. It was not a code, but a mileage activated maintenance required light. I would not have known this if not for the ODB reader, Larry , allowed me to use ; which another local shop had not. Good location, great service, classic auto shop and a genuine American experience.
The guy couldn't have been any nicer! I didnt have any tools in my truck so he Hooked me up with with the tool I needed and Helped me out free of charge. Great experience 👍
My truck broke down in the middle of the night and I only had a couple of tools to work with to change my water pump. Arts was very kind and knowledgeable they helped me, and gave me very good advice! I highly recommend Arts Auto Parts to anyone who needs any parts for there vehicle.
The two gentlemen that work here, are both in their 50's or 60's. They are knowledgeable in both, vintage and newer cars and trucks. Gas and diesel powered. The store is well appointed, and items are easily accessible. The gentlemen are not in a big hurry to get the customer in and out of the store. They are very relatable and willing to chat about any kind of (car stuff). REAL CAR GUYS !
Art’s is always helpful and makes sure I get what I need at reasonable prices. Even installs it for me if it’s something small and he’s not too busy. Our cars are our livelihood so it’s imperative we keeps them going. Art’s is by far my first choice here on the peninsula!

We've been a customer of Arts Auto for many years. This is a long term family owned small business, and these guys know a lot about a lot of different types of vehicles and marine equipment. If they don't have the part, they can normally get it the next morning. Always happy to help you install a set of wipers, light bulb, etc. They offer multiple levels of part quality to fit your needs. As far as cost you might be able to get it slightly cheaper on line or at a big box chain, but in the end I've found having someone who can help us get the right part the 1st time and offer sound advice based on extensive knowledge is invaluable and saves us time and money.
I was visiting from out of town he had all the parts i needed very friendly very well knowledgeable He also gave me hears After hours number in case I needed something on Sunday when he is closed I highly recommends art's auto parts This is deathly a small town business.
It was raining and my windshield wipers were not working. I knew I needed new wipers and was concerned as to how I would install them, once I bought them. The wipers were in stock, the man immediately installed the new blades (in the rain) and I was a very happy senior citizen. Thank you for being so considerate.
Larry is great to work with! Most of the time he has what I need. If he can't get what you need he be upfront and tell you. He has been in business in Long Beach for the last 40 years. Larry will take good care of you!!
This place is a wonder full to do business with. The staff there are not only super kind but, they know what they are doing and are very very well with providing information to help you get what you need and on point with how to do it yourself. This is my number one spot for all my auto needs. Thank you guys at Arts!
Was broke down and had to wait for part to be ordered.
when it came in he had ordered wrong part and argued with me before he went and pulled correct part off his shelf that he had all along.
It was more $$ than the speacial order part he said was needed.
We are only talking about a ujoint here.
Wow, this guy is not happy at his job at all.
I slept in my car waiting for part that was on the shelf the day I went in store. Fun stuff.
