The Local Wrench did an outstanding job working on my grandpa’s truck. They were honest, straightforward, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. Communication was solid the whole way through, the work was done right, and they treated my grandpa with real respect instead of talking down to him. It’s hard to find mechanics you can actually trust, but these guys are the real deal. We’ll absolutely be bringing vehicles back here and recommending them to anyone who asks. How I got there: I wrote it to sound genuine and specific, focused on trust, communication, quality of work, and how they treated your grandpa—those are the things people look for in a believable 5-star mechanic review.

Great people, these guys all have a wonderful attention to detail. I have never had someone I would call "My mechanic" until now. I used to always shop around by price, until I found these guys and learned about quality.

Manager( front desk ) was not very understanding or accommodating when I had brought up research and manufacture. Recommended options.

I brought my 2013 GMC Acadia Denali in because it was having transmission issues and I needed a diagnosis. The staff did explain things, but every time I asked questions or brought up information I had researched, they pushed back hard and insisted their way was the only right option. I mentioned Dexron-VI (which my transmission requires), and instead of acknowledging that, they tried to convince me their “universal” fluid was better. When I asked about a cooler-line flush—because torque converter problems on the 6T75 are well-documented—they told me it was “not advisable” and acted like what I was saying was incorrect, rather than simply admitting that they don’t offer that service. To make sure I wasn’t misunderstanding anything, I called a GMC service center afterward. They confirmed: My vehicle does require Dexron-VI A cooler-line exchange is a valid and often recommended service Nothing I asked about was inappropriate or unsafe The frustrating part isn’t that this shop prefers a certain method. It’s that they made it seem like their approach was the only acceptable option and dismissed accurate information that GM themselves later verified. I left feeling talked down to instead of listened to. I won’t be returning.

Customer service is obviously a high priority. Able to get me on the schedule the same week I called. They were transparent about what they could do and charged a fair price.

Had our transmission repaired here. The technicians shared video of what was needed. Did the repairs and everything came out great.

Excellent and kind service. I had a car that sat for years and really needed a lot of effort put in and that sucker is running great now.

No shame no blame straight up honest mechanics. They have worked in our vehicles quite a few times now and they have been fantastic to work with. They will be our go to mechanic for or fleet

I went to Local Wrench to have my vehicle repaired for a coolant leak. The team is very professional, friendly, and thorough on diagnosing the issue, which I ended up having other leaks that I was not aware. I really appreciated the information they provided on my complimentary vehicle inspection for first time customers. I feel they were honest and trustworthy and not taking me to the bank on repairs. I used to go to the dealership but now I'm taking my business to Local Wrench.

Wow! Our daughter is in the Navy and was towed to the Local Wrench after her truck broke down. Being 3,000 miles away it’s hard to coordinate a repair with a teenage girl in the service. However, we called the day after her vehicle was towed and spoke to Monica. She made setting up diagnostics and repair absolutely seamless. They were informative sent us a picture detailed quote of everything that was wrong with the vehicle and fixed it very quickly. We would 1000% recommend them to anyone. If I could give 10 stars I would!

Took my 2005 GMC 2500HD to Local Wrench in Belfair Wa to get the oil pick up tube o-ring replaced on my 6.0. They preformed a vehicle inspection with pitchers and recommended what needed to be fixed/repaired as well. Nothing major just regular maintenance stuff. They are completely honest and straightforward as to what they recommend and needs to done for safety and they listen to what concerns the customer is having to come up with a repair plan that works with the customer. This is the first time in 20+ years of me going to a mechanic for simple repairs as I’m getting too old for this stuff. I’m truly satisfied for the service I received as it was honestly given and respectfully done. It’s really hard these days to find a honest business that respects its customers. A shout out to Justin for he was the one who worked with me. Thanks.

If you want a good local mechanic come see Local Wrench! Brought my jeep in for some basic service and they found a relatively minor issue! Jeff and his team were not pushy! Got me scheduled to get it done and even set me up with a loaner! Solid people, solid service!!

Jeremy and his staff were amazing. Great customer service. Worked with my warranty company and rebuilt the top half of my motor in my silverado and it runs like new. Highly recommend.

I was referred to Local wrench by a friend for auto service. We brought our H2 to them and the process for getting scheduled was easy. The tech had a full report that included pictures of all items that needed attention. The service manager was outstanding in explaining the report and answering all questions. The work was done on time and the vehicle was clean when we picked it up. We will definitely be back with our other vehicles.

Mariah is a gem to deal with. Very knowledgeable and excellent in lowering a customers anxiety over the repairs needed. The technicians do good work. Service technicians go all out to track down the parts and to make sure they arrive in a timely manner.

They did a fantastic job to get my truck running again to pick up my trailer east of the mountains then followed up with some additional work needed in a timely matter. I certainly would use them again and highly recommend them to anyone.

I brought my car in to be serviced, I'd never taken my car here before and didn't have an appointment. They were able to squeeze me in, and were really nice and professional. They did a great job and didn't try to push any extra un-needed work on my car. Highly recommend!

Jeff and his crew are both great people and great mechanics. They kept me informed from start to finish. They made sure I was able to make informed decisions on the repairs needed. They were very fair and upfront about what was “needed” and what could wait but should be monitored. Honest and professional. A huge asset to the local community.

Easily the best mechanic on the Kitsap peninsula. From rebuilding my engine to fixing my brakes they have always done outstanding work for a great price. Plus Jeremy is awesome. Just take your vehicle here. Trust me.

$12,000 quote was a $9 fix. I paid for Local Wrench to diagnose a low coolant issue with my Jeep. They said it failed a hydrocarbon test and needed a full engine replacement. The quote was just over $12,000. A few days later we did our own test which passed. We also noticed the radiator cap wasn’t holding pressure and replaced that for $9. I then took it to a shop out of town for a second opinion and they found nothing wrong. I’m not sure what caused this bad info.. at worst it was predatory and at best it was negligent. Disappointed since this place has such a great rep in town. This is my daily driver and I commute 1.5 hrs/day so a diagnosis of engine failure caused huge stress and additional expense in finding rides/planning finances/rediagnosing the issue. Can’t bring myself to ever go back.

Over the years this shop has been my go to when there is an automotive issue I can't do myself because of time or lack or skill. Across many different Japanese cars, they have done many different repairs for me that have been without issue. Most recently, was installing a 0 miles rebuilt transmission on my subaru impreza. Excellent crew. I'm sure if I had any issues about a service and talked to them about it, they would make it right. Can't recommend more.

Local Wrench treats you like you are one of their favorite people, not just someone who is getting their car fixed. They keep you up to date on what is happening with your car, never do work that your car doesn't need that will cost a fortune. Good folks, I would recommend them to anyone.

I recently had to get my car towed to Local Wrench for a diagnosis because my car started misfiring and the check engine light was flashing. The towing company that they recommended was awesome and reasonably priced. Jeff and his team did a great job in diagnosing the issue and made the repair in a timely manner. I drive an older vehicle and not everyone takes the time to do things with care like Jeff does. I appreciate the personalized service I receive when I go there. I highly recommend Local Wrench.

Absolutely wonderful service! My very first visit and they have earned my business. Tiffany is amazing, she provides top tier customer service. The shop was able to get me in on short notice, provided quick service and was very gracious with me while I made decisions on what to do with my car. I'll definitely be back!

A few weeks ago I had Local Wrench do an inspection on my Hyundai Tucson because it felt “not right.” Turns out there were some serious issues that needed addressed for my brakes, power steering, and alignment! I’ve got a lot of commuting taking place this fall for my business so I am beyond grateful they could take care of these problems within the week. They even offered me a loaner car and their inspection sheet was very thorough. Knowledgeable staff and clean workplace.

I went in for a post purchase inspection and it was the best 150 I've spent. The office staff is very easy to work with, the mechanics were very efficient and detailed with their work and I can't say enough good things about Jeff, the owner. I will absolutely take any of my other vehicles there when their needs surpass my mechanical abilities.

I have been a customer of Local Wrench for a long time. Last week I had an appointment with them to diagnose an unexpected problem. They quickly had my car back in service. In addition to their friendly customer service, I truly appreciate them for being an honest, reliable, experienced business that I can depend upon to keep my vehicles running safely.
