A good day is one spent at Horseshoe Auto. I tell them what I am looking for and I get to go get it. They leave me alone while I play. Decent prices almost always.
Worst service ever.
Told them what I needed. They said go look yourself. I went to look. Couldnt find it. 2 employee's sitting there doing nothing to help me. No one else there.. They looked like they just got off a one month drunk.
Said thanks and left..
Transmission went out on my car. Called for help. They came out towed to the yard disposed of for free. Thanks guys for your help. The driver was nice and polite.
Always been a positive experience over the years. They are pleasant folks, knowledgeable of their acres of cars, and the price I paid today was next to nothing; I felt I was taking advantage .
Some really nice-looking deals on cars and good prices on parts.
However, when we asked to get a car looked at by a shop, either after fully purchasing or with a caveat on the sale that we could return the car if issues were found, the owner both incorrectly described the law on cars and seemed to take it as a personal affront. Seemed like a weird attitude.
It was also just difficult to be in touch with the decision maker. Understandable that he was stretched and stressed with an influx of inventory, but maybe that points to the need to delegate.
People working there were really nice and helpful unfortunately the part I was after was the only one in the yard and it was damaged, but it is an auto wrecking yard so no hard feelings.
They bought my non-functional 2005 Hyundai Elantra the same day I called. Even more impressive was that he removed it from a narrow alley that other companies couldn't get to.
Good as a last resort. They had the part I needed and I was able to pull it and it worked. However I was quoted $20 on the phone and charged $35 after I pulled it. And the older guy at the main desk was extremely unhelpful during the entire process. Then during checkout I asked about a warranty (which is 30 days) and everyone in the place acted like I was going to try to scam them. 3 stars since I got a good part despite the poor customer service. My neighbor has had similar experiences with this salvage yard also.
They are very nice here. Let me go in without paying the fee and look around to see if some parts would be compatible with my car. They were nice, helpful and offered up lots of useful information. Oh and it was close to closing time so that's even more impressive!

I didn't get a chance to walk around the yard since I was in a big hurry but the inventory I could see told me I could have easily spent days rummaging and remembering...good mix of then and now and it was refreshing to see other manufacturers represented there and not just the General. I can't wait to go back and do the Rusty Mopar search. I bet there are a few unicorns to be found out there! Big block A-body cross member, A-body 8.75" rear, 70 B-body Air Grabber Hood...

The guy who helped us was very helpful. He walked way around the yard to help us get our part. It was just an inexpensive part but he took the time to try and find it just as if it were a very expensive part. He was very nice too. Hard to find such good people. We were very impressed. Its a junkyard, same place as west coast wrecking. I bought a mazda truck hood. Had to pay for it in advance, then they had to take it off, had it ready for me the next morning. Because of Inslees rules, the yard is closed to the public so call ahead, order your part, pay for it, they called me when it was removed. They gave me an opportunity to refuse the part. But it was as they described it.
Subpart... People were rude... Laughed at me when I asked to go in to look around, did not know that changed. It's not the first time I've been treated poorly by them. They will quote prices one way, and the when you bring them what you've pulled the price has suddenly skyrocketed. Very crooked, rude, money hungry people. Will not recommend anyone.
Went there for some parts for my husband and I asked them if they had some parts for my vehicle while I waited for him and got completely blown off. Then asked about a touch screen stereo/ Navigation system they had and yet again I was ignored. Never again will I do business with these guys!
Prices are general, they offer 10 percent military/family discount but there’s a 20 percent restocking fee, so much for a discount. Customer service was decent, Minus the part where the employees didn’t have masks on and they told everyone else who came in to have a mask on. I didn’t like it, I won’t be going back or recommending it to others.
My experience was great! I had a junk car that I needed removed as soon as possible and they were the ones to do it! They were nice and professional, the tow showed up right on time. He was super quick too, got my car up on the truck and outta here within 10 minutes. If I could give them more then 5 stars I would! Great guys!
Went in on 11/14/19 to try to exchange a tire that I thought was faulty from their business turned out the tire was messed up from my friends buddy who is supposed to be a mechanic. The owner of the business worked out a deal with me and sold me a pair of good tires for 30 bucks! great customer service and prices I Will always by here from now on!!
Can’t pull your own parts, prices are somewhat high. But there is a LOT back there that can’t be had easily. Organization leaves something to be desired, but mazes are fun I guess. Good if you like 60s Fords and air cooled VWs. Staff is reasonably nice, and there is no entry fee.
Just like a junknyard should be...Organized chaos! good prices,too. Its great how they pull the vehicles up on the computer and show you a pic so you know what you are looking for and they even turn you loose in the correct quadrant. Pulling the door off that old truck made for a great date with my husband. See yall on our next date.
Great service. Great bunch of guys. I recently got an engine from them. You can negotiate with them easily. I have gotten other parts from them in the past also and it was always the same type of good service.
Will continue to do business with them unlike a wrecking yard down towards Shelton.
I called looking for a part for my Volkswagen Passat, they were willing to visually inspect and the sure that the part was available for me upon arrival, because I was coming from out of town. When I showed up they assisted with obtaining the part and worked with me on my budget. Five stars all around these guys are awesome thank you
These folks are great! I drove all the way from tacoma to get the part no one else had, 96 crown vic taillight, couldn't get the trunk open but one of their employees helped me with that, without attitude, which I appreciate. Will come back.
