My car was supposed to be towed to my house from Lynnwood 3 days in a row i had to keep calling to find out where my car was. When i did finally get it back it was at 11 PM and I was not given back the key. Gary does not answer his phone and does not communicate.
Gave up after nearly 2 weeks of trying to schedule a tow for my vehicle from a shop to my home. Called, voicemails, texts, they actually called back and said they were busy and would try. 6 days later I went with someone else. Good luck getting them answer if you're in need.
This is a great small family-owned business that I have done business with for 7 years. I have bought used vehicles from them that I still have to this day and always get stellar stellar customer service. They have very reasonable prices and the owner Gary Is just a great guy and his daughter Nicole the office manager is one of the sweetest and most organized and efficient people I've met! She has pulled my butt out of the fire again and again . So give them a call.
Great and fast service. Matt came right out and figured out how to get my dead car out of the garage and down the road.

Rainbow Towing has towed my car at least 3 times as of this year alone. In 2022 I was in a bad accident and needed my car towed to a shop. The driver recommend the best auto shop to fix my car and I've been using that shop ever since. I also buy cars from auctions and often need to tow them home plus I've found myself in many situations since where I needed a tow for my personal car, whether it was because I was stranded on the side of the road on my way to work or just to move a non running vehicle from one house to the next, I've had nothing but good experiences with every tow. The company is a small local family run business and has always been on time and reasonably priced compared to the larger name tow companies who take forever to come and charge an arm and a leg.
As far as the negative review I just read on here I'm shocked that someone says they had a bad experience, sometimes you can tell the type of person by the way they can turn a ten into a two......

Just realized I got scammed and will be making a report, and post this review online everywhere, will be sharing this to my contacts as a business owner myself.
Last night my car stopped working and it needed to get towed.
Let me make this clear that I was just at the bottom of my street.
The tow truck only moved my car about 5 HOUSES UP THE STREET. NOT EVEN THAT, THE MAN WAS EXTREMELY LATE, we waited about 2 HOURS.
HE ONLY TOOK MY CAR UP 5 HOUSES AND I WAS CHARGES $411.10 FOR NOT EVEN A 2 MINUTE CAR DRIVE. MAYBE LESS THAN 1 MINUTE HE TOOK TO DRIVE UP MY STREET.
DO NOT CALL HERE AND WILL BE REPORTING. JUST NOW REALIZING I GOT SCAMMED.
May 2024-*my response to what Rainbow Towing had to say after posting my review* I am not confused at all! Rainbow Towing employees are thieves! They stole property out of a vehicle that they towed, a vehicle that happened to belong to someone i know personally. And it was not just their vehicle that got towed...almost everything they owned was also inside of their vehicle at the time. And to knowingly steal from anyone let alone a person that is struggling, homeless, etc is extremely low! And on top of that instead of doing the right thing they respond to my review by continuing to lie about their actions! I'm hoping that this review will prevent others from being the next victim! Please be aware!
If Rainbow Towing has access to your vehicle at any point in time, even for a short period of time PLEASE beware! They have a history of stealing belongings out of vehicles that they tow/store!
I was pulled over by a BPD officer. these people are despicable extortionists, along with bothell PD. I told them not to tow my car and they extorted me out of money saying "well we are already here we need some money" I told them no, they refused to leave, the cop gave the key to the towing people and and they extorted 100 dollars out of me when I was a block away from my house. completely outrageous. If I were to do what they did to me I would have a felony and 20+ years in prison.
I had my car towed from the place where it broke down in Canyon Park all the way to my apartment on 99th and 156th, and I'm glad I chose Rainbow. They were easy to deal with. Even when I gave them the wrong address for picking up the car, all they did was call me. We figured out the mistake, got the correct address, and I wasn't even charged extra. In fact, the final price was cheaper than any other tow company.
Sold a vehicle and forgot to report the sale the new owner ended up abandoning it and they towed it and then instead of taking the new owners information and bill of sale with date on it they harassed me for payment and have now sent me to collections. These people are cons and thieves. Hopefully they go out of business
Family owned, honest and reputable.... Loves to give you discounts... But they love to steal your property too. They stole approximately $4000 to $5000 worth of my property and were probably my canopy window breakers also. They gave me proof videos or 2h they claim stole my property, but I was given all of that property back. They illegally and unlawfully lety daughter and her boyfriend into my truck to help save my property while I was in jail for a month, then they tried to tell me that they stole my property... But within 2 to 5 days or so, they gave me everything they saved for me because it was about to be auctioned off. Rainbow Towing took 7 to 9 weeks to send the videos 9f the alleged thieves, plus the police officers who arrested me and searched my truck and let it go to impound said that all of the property 4 pages front and back was still in the truck by voice on the phone and there search and seizure 9fnthe few things they did take, the officer assured me that all the property I was asking about was left inside the truck. The videos did not show any of the missing property that totaled up to the almost $6500 it actually totalled up to when calculated. That is a 1° Felony in the state of Washington, that was my home where I lived and live from May 2023 to present, which makes it 1° Burglary while armed with a deadly weapon, on top of all the other laws that were broken by Rainbow Towing.
Great service, showed great care for my truck and even after payment parked it three times due to poor direction from the auto shop. If ever in the area again and need a tow, I'll be calling Rainbow to bail me out again.
Greg was so awesome. I had him till my vehicle for me and he was extremely professional and courteous... And he was the cheapest out on the market... $265... Everyone else was too expensive ranging from $500 to $650.... For only 5 mile tow. I'm always going to call him.
Best Tow ever! My car broke down and I was stranded on the side of i5 and called for a tow. The driver was super fast and got my AWD vehicle home safe and even recommended a shop to take it to. I love that this company is family owned and operated! Great people great service I will call them for any tow needs.
Middle of the road for the stars. They responded quickly to the accident but took their time after that. Towed the car back to the lot but was instructed to drop off at my address. Called the office and they were able to sort thing out, but was just a lot to take care of and worry about after an accident.
I found myself in a ditch while trying to beat the inclement weather home. AAA and my insurance roadside assistance were swamped and unable to assist me. Within 90 minutes (exceptional given the demand) they had me extracted and back on the road. The technician was polite, professional, and confidently engaged the issue. 100% would recommend.

We encountered batteries failures on HW405 in the middle of night. Called around to find a towing service. Unlike the other companies which just wanted to earn some quick money, Rainbow gave a reasonable price and also tried to help me diagnosis the problem. It turns out that the lady on phone is right. She found the root cause! The driver is also very friendly and professional.

Fast, friendly, local service. Problems with my car’s lock system left me with locked doors and keys inside. Local Kenmore business had me back on the road in less than 30 minutes on a Friday evening. Thanks for the great service!
The manager Gary Gerber who used to own his own towing business until he ran afoul of the job description as it might otherwise relied upon in the revised code of washington. But because the RCW's are just as easily swayed by influence, in these, ununifide court system($) of Washington, King county the main holdout to a democracy, in a hate like state! make the laws and bend the rules so that when it's convenient to have drug addicts like described above, hold those unpleasant posts. Is, still, steeling, wheeling and dealing, and keeping it all, to include the contents of my improperly impounded personal property.
My car died unexpectedly the other day. Luckily it was only 1 mile from where I wanted to tow it to get it fixed. After waiting 1.5 hours on roadside assistance that never came because somehow the service request was never put in, I called around to tow companies. One quoted me $277 and a 1-2 hour wait! Rainbow didn't pick up the phone and I didn't leave a message. Well, they called me back when they noticed the missed call. I had decided to deal with my car the next morning at that point and was on my way home. Rainbow offered to pick up my car key from my home within 30 min, tow the car, and leave the key in the mechanic's dropbox! All for less than half of the quote from the other place. They did exactly what they said, were super kind after such a stressful day, and filled out the form to drop off with the key. HIGHLY recommend and will use for any future towing needs.
My car was dead in the left hand turn lane on 522 in the middle of the afternoon on a weekday. They were quick to arrive to give me a tow and get me off of the main drag.
The driver was friendly, professional, and even helped me in finding a garage to take my car to. Would definitely recommend if you're in trouble and need a tow.
