I just spoke with my friend who is in tears over something Steve said about her to a very close friend. Steve, Nikki is one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. She tries to help people and you’re going to shame her like that?? You should be ashamed of yourself. I am never going to your store again and calling for a boycott!

This is the premier automotive parts store of the pacific northwest, the employees always go untold lengths to try and help solve a problem. Never disappointed. This is my favorite parts store hands down!!!

Very helpful staff! If you have a specific problem with a car/truck or hitch/trailer, they’ll try to help you figure it out. They have more things than you think a small town auto parts store would too.
Good auto parts store! If they don't have it there they'll have it the next afternoon. Helpful courteous and funny. Battery charging isn't free anymore but it's the best way to see if your battery is salvageable.
David and Steve are an amazing resource. I enjoy the personal treatment customers get and they have great marine catalogs for those hard to find boat engine parts. Support local business.
These guys are the best! They take the time to help you out and make sure you get what you need! This is a rare and almost extinct service these days. They also have high end stuff in stock, such as Ams Oil and Liquimoly, etc. And will bring in just about anything same or next day of possible. True treasure making easy living on the island. I have had nothing but good to great service from the staff at Vashon Auto Parts. They go out of their way to find a part that may be difficult to find, are prompt in responding to requests and always helpful and more than polite.
They are even happy to see my fussy 8 month old daughter...
As far as prices go they seem inline with the off Island parts stores, and I would be willing to pay a little extra to keep them in business. I do not see any sign that they are gouging anyone or charging extra... In fact, they me gave a discount when I special ordered oil and filters by the case.
So I believe that they are good people, well aware that they are doing business on a small island and that they value their community.
The one other reviewer seems to have personal issues that are coloring their opinion and it is not a constructive revue.
These guys are pros and certified technicians own the business. If they don't stock it then they will get the part you need in a couple of days. Support local people and local businesses!
The staff is extremely helpful. The owner is a life long Vashon resident who clearly enjoys his work, loves cars and takes joy in the social aspect of his job. In a world dominated by faceless big-box style capitalism, a shop like Vashon Auto Parts is of greater and greater importance to the community. Plus they helped me get my old Carolla running again for $7.99!
Great service, OK prices, very helpful staff. Can't ask for more---you can sometimes get lower prices on the Net, but this shop deserves your support. An essential tp Island Life, keep them in business, or you;ll have to go off-island for parts, a real bummer when you need something fast. If they don't have a part they'll get it in next day.
Granted they're the only auto supply on the island, these guys totally get it. They're great. Always patient and as helpful as you'll ever get from an auto supply store, if not more so. They usually help me troubleshoot a lot more than other auto supplies. Thank you for treating us islanders right. On or off-island residents, stranded on the island or just changing your oil, I recommend Vashon Auto to all of you.
I have had great experiences at this store, with staff coming outside and literally working directly on my car helping me change a part. Steller customer service. Very surprised by a negative review as my "hit rate" has been excellent in being treated right by these guys.
