Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Had exactly what I needed to fix my truck and I was in and out in a matter of minutes. My only complaint is that they close so early, but it IS the island so....🤷♀️

Ok.... So these guys are not only friendly but knowledgeable. I went in today and they had everything I needed for an old pickup in-store except 1 item which will be here tomorrow morning. They told me all my options and ordered me the most affordable item. I also noticed a huge selection of car accessories.

I recently had an issue with my car starting and wasn't quite sure what was causing it, so stopped in to have the usuals tested to discern the problem... I was helped by Nate, who was really friendly and extremely helpful in finding and solving the problem for me quickly. Saved me time and money in not having to take it to an auto repair shop; thank you Nate!

Sometimes the only game in town can translate to mediocre, certainly not the case here. The crew here helped me get my car back on the road, very helpful, very knowledgable.

The gentlemen running this shop are cool, funny guys happy to help. I had issues getting a battery tested/replaced under warranty at a different NAPA. When I brought it here, the technicians broke out an actual carbon-pile battery tester that showed my battery was really defective. When the battery was out of stock, they offered to have it ordered and ready for me to pick up at opening the next day - or get me a loaner that'd bring my car to the nearest store with the right battery.

Local Napa, thats feels like a small town auto part store. The staff was friendly and gave excellent customer service. Over the last several years (since my first review) I have exclusively used Napa in Freeland for quick friendly service. Susan and Jim are great and they always genuinely care about you getting the proper part and required fluids.

It's a nice local parts store locally owned. If they do not have it they will attempt to find it. Pretty basicly stocked.

By the slight mention of fuel prices (buying a locking gas cap) It seemed to spur comments about the democrats, clown in the white house etc... Keep your political comments to yourself! I figured as much as they were also maskless all throughout the pandemic too. Ill order online from now on.

This store has refused to take any precautions to keep either their customers or staff protected from the virus.😥 If that matters to you. Now you know.

Had to get a fuel line. Had it affordable. Quick easy service. Being literally right at the bus stop didn't hurt either.

Went there to get a couple items a torque wrench, a 14 mm 1/2 inch Drive hex and a little plastic what you may call it Hukilau thing for my windshield wiper and they had a whole box of them employee got me the right one and I was very happy with my visit there.

NEVER SHOPPING HERE AGAIN! Had to purchase two sets of brake calipers thru this store. The first set were used, NOT refurbished, USED, stamped and boxed as if refurbished. The person at the store told me that I could not return them bc they were used; even tho they had the stamp on them, which he noticed and mentioned...after purchasing a second set, mind you there is a “core” deposit for the purchase in hopes that you return the old items for “recycle”, you are supposed get that deposit back, I did not. I fitted the “new” calipers and returned the old ones, only to get 21% of my core deposit back for the used calipers. All together this cost me over $300 to replace some brake calipers which would not have cost me $50 on Amazon...if y’all ever wonder why some of us would rather go thru horrible companies such as Amazon rather than support a local business...THIS IS WHY! In short, they stole my money plain and simple. THIS IS ONE LOCAL BUSINESS THAT I WILL NEVER EVER EVER SUPPORT AGAIN!

They gave my father grief for wearing a mask. My old man’s got cancer and would die if he gets sick. Would not recommend this place to anyone, absolutely horrible behavior.

TWICE THE COST OF AMAZON...The prices are way too high and staff does not demonstrate appropriate hygienic standards, (they are also quite vocal about flaunting our state health regulations). But most importantly, they rarely have the right part in stock, so ordering from Amazon is usually just as fast - AND HALF THE COST!

This remarkable store always has the part I need. It's a very pleasant, small town, old fashioned store.

Very knowledgeable with cars and always a great help. Never had a problem with part mixups. But the prices are alittle higher than normal but that what you get when you live on an island. Everything is more expensive than the main land.

A lot of people think auto parts stores are basically the same: you order a part, you get a part. This is not so. The main competitors to Napa are most likely O'Reilly and Autozone ... with those two chains being nearly identical. What sets all Napa Auto Parts aside from their competitors is who they employ and the depth of knowledge they possess. I have long said "if you go to Napa, you will likely pay a percent or two more than the lesser stores in the area, but what you gain is: the right part, every time, and staff who know the difference between the makes, models, and trim levels of the vehicles they assist in servicing. What truly sets this particular Napa apart from even its fellow franchisees in the area is its owner/senior employee Dave and his depth of knowledge/passion for the automobiles which comprise his livelihood. Rather than try to quote him and fail miserably, let me simply say that if you are in the area and are in need of auto parts: go to this Napa and you will the right part, every time. And honestly, their prices are quite good as well.

Buyers beware: if you go here intending to buy a driver side headlight fixture for your 1997 Volkswagen Jetta with which you happened to hit a deer, you will have to pay $120 for it. Stay at home. Buy it online. It will save you about $60. However, if you are going here for other car parts, you may be surprised. They sell those.

It's simply a parts store but I've been consistently surprised by their great service. I don't know squat about cars and am a tiny woman, but I did not receive the dismissive attitude I've some to expect from car guys. For all of a couple dollars they gave me much time and expertise when my keyfob battery bit the dust.

Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Needed to replace the break lights on my Fiat, and they let me borrow tools to replace them while on the premises. Saved me a scary drive home and some money since I was here for a weekend trip away and had no tools with me.

I've been there many times. Always helpful and knowledgeable. Great service.

went in to get wiper blades, not in stock. the man there ordered them. would be there by 4 PM, same day. impressed, as this is a small town on Whidbey island. I will do business with them again for my cars needs. *

Went down there Friday for some brake pads. The lady behind the counter was very helpful and very knowledgeable. As I opened my wallet she points at my ID and asked, what's that? I replied, my Veterans card. She smiled and said thank you. And gave me a military discount.

There is always a helpful crew here at Napa, with intelligible responses and answers, just have the right questions to ask. And you will be happily on your way :-)

Decent place, clean, well maintained, they don't have everything, but mist stuff gets there the next day.

Very professional and knowledgeable. Answered my questions where I could understand. Very friendly staff. Have used Napa Auto Parts when I lived in CA.

friendly, helpful staff, lots of parts and tools in stock. doesn't take long at all to get special order parts in. if you have any oddball projects the owner Dave is an automotive wizard and will certainly be able to help you out. highly recommend this store.

They don't treat me like a stupid woman, which would be a mistake. They understand that their livelihood is primarily based on local repeat business and treat customers like they want them to return!
