Are you looking for a clean well appointed state park to camp? The state park at Curlew Lake is an excellent choice.
During my last visit everything was in great shape. The rest rooms were spotless, the swimming area was clearly marked, the lake was beautiful. Everyone is friendly and having a good time.
I have been told you can fish at Curlew Lake. I will have to trust the people who told me ?. The hiking trails are well marked and give you some great views of the lake.
You will need to book your spot in advance but you will not be disappointed. Make sure you go checkout Curlew Lake this year.
It was great there, clean restrooms, and swimming area for children, hiking, and boating, cycling, hot bath and quiet atmosphere, beautiful nature, everything was wonderful.
I live out at Curlew Lake. Great place to visit. It's a beautiful area with lots of hunting and fishing. The state record Tiger Muskie was caught here a couple years back. I caught a 40" Muskie off of my dock. Yellow Perch were illegally introduced a couple years ago so now there is no limit on them. It isn't unusual for folks to catch dozens of Perch, particularly when ice fishing.
Well what can I say about this park that some else has said . It's was the most beautiful places.
When we got there the lawns were being watered . The host came and shut it off .
I can't say enough about the hosts Rich and Louis Ann were just amazing they worked hard to keep the park not only clean but safe Rich made sure that all dogs were on a leash and Louis Ann made sure every one did not speed around the park.
We stayed in site #20 it was a great spot.
When we got ready to leave Louis Ann came and told us to drive safely and hope to see us again
