I spent many summer's and winter's at TTR, my first experience was long before I could remember as I wasn't even 1 year old the first time my parents brought me to camp. I continued going for the next 30 plus year's. It has always been a safe haven for me and a place I learned so much about God. I definitely recommend giving it a chance.
Our "Warrior of Faith" motorcycle ministry group just came back from 4 days in the biggest cabin. We had 13 people and everyone had an amazing time. We enjoyed quality time with the group and alone. We cooked meals, watched the snow fall, went into Leavenworth to shop and eat, played games, drank hot chocolate, did puzzles and colored. The staff was right there, making sure we had everything we needed, which was greatly appreciated. The roads were plowed and the parking lot and sidewalks. Highly recommended! ??????
Disconnected in the best type of way. Staff was friendly, cabins were rustic, lodge was warm, grounds were beautiful. It was a bit muddy, but totally acceptable for the weather. God moved within our group.
Awe inspiring vistas and tranquil spiritual respite during Covid times. Sad that the camp wasn't full of children in the beautiful summertime, but it was an incredible opportunity to enjoy being there at peak season.
Amazing camp experience. My daughter went here for her first ever sleep-away camp experience last year at 8 years old. I wasn't sure how she'd handle being away from home for the first time for 4 days, she LOVED it. When I picked her up, she was already making plans for returning the following year before I even had her bags in the car.
