Pick-n-Pull should be renamed “Pick-n-Pay-a-Fortune.” You spend hours wandering around like it’s an auto parts scavenger hunt, finally drag your part to the counter, and boom — they charge you like it’s made of gold. Honestly, it’s faster and cheaper to click “Buy Now” on eBay and have the part show up at your door while you’re still washing the grease off your hands.
I donated a car to habitat for humanity and p and p was the company that was supposed to pick it up, I was scheduled for Aug 28. Between 8-12. I called the corporate office the day before because I hadn't heard anything from them and was assured they would be here, well nobody and I had been scheduled since Aug 12 and was told someone would be here Sept 12 a full month after I donated the car. My registration runs out Aug 31 so I called Eggelston services and they'll be here tomorrow. Horrible customer service and they caused Habitat a huge donation. I wonder if they would even show up on September 12?
I am a disabled senior citizen. I drove an hour to get a tire for my car . I arrive , told the gentleman I was looking for a tire for my car. They told me they had three of my cars there . This place is a total scam . Paid the money to get in walked through the entire yard there was 1 rim and tire in the entire lot. They do have tires , but they will not have a tire or rim for you , they just want your money to walk around and waste your time . They lie to get you in and everything of value is removed by their crew before you get access to it .

This company does not value your time. Called me at 8am to make sure I did the paperwork. Then proceed to BS me all day about the pick up time. Scheduled 8am to 12pm. Crickets. Had to contact them 3 times only to be giving more lies about the scheduling. Was told 330-4. More crickets. Now its after hours and They still havent shown.
It's a nice place and it's parts are priced fairly decent however good luck trying to get somebody to answer the phone there ever I swear I can call a thousand times back to back to back and not one person picks up that damn phone it's a decent place other than you can't ever get anybody on the phone define out if your parts are there
After being quoted a certain price, they came and picked up two vehicles and shorted me money for one. I specifically wrote down each amount as I was quoted and they claim that that’s not the price that they said. The principal behind it don’t give a price and then don’t follow through with it. The tow company that came he was very professional And I didn’t want him to waste his time, even though I was not given the amount I was told. Get your mess together Pick N Pull…….
This place is the reason why Everything is getting outrageously expensive when buying used auto parts. The people here nickel and dime you over every little thing.
a 4 cylinder engine shouldn't be the same price as a V8. 250 for a short block is ridiculous. Not to mention the almost 100 extra for taxes and fees on top of that.
Sold me a broken part and then refused to take it back. Im never using them again. I spoke to management and they basically said to pound sand. I explained to them what fraud is but its a scrap yard so lack of ethics I guess is baked into the training.
Went there on 2/8/2025 and got a fender liner jeep cap that covers up behind the head light ,that was $6 bucks , and I decided to get the driver side fender liner , it was in good shape , but the bottom had a tear and missing a small section, they wanted $27 bucks , I told the lady I could get the whole set for $47 bran new , plus it' had damage on it, most cars they get for free , some they pay for , I've noticed they went up on prices , and inflation on used parts should never happen, it's greed , I noticed they won't reply to people's posts , that's class real class management for you at there best
This company was suppose to tow & junk my old car a week ago. Poor communication, rude customer service. I only found out about my car not being towed when I called to confirm the pick up that still never happen. They reschedule without informing customer on both occasions. They have great cheap parts to go pick pull & buy from company. Otherwise the service is horrible for towing to junk yard!!!!
Haven’t been to the store so cannot give a review on sales-ship there, but I used them for selling my junk car because of a recommendation. Gave me a 4 hour pick up which is a wide window, but I understood. Booked two’s days out in advance and still could not make the pick up window and was sitting around for hours waiting on a phone call. Had to call them myself twice to try and get an update on what time the truck driver would be here and nobody could give me an answer. Would not recommend.
This place is amazing! If you are looking for parts for your car or just tinkering around this is the Michales, & Joann’s for cars. You can also call ahead to verify that they have the vehicle make and model on the lot before driving over. They do have you sign a waiver before entering but that was quick. It is a $2 per person entrance fee but that is good for all day! Even if you have to leave and return. Make sure to bring your own tools even if you don’t plan to do any major pulling because you never know what you will find! I was amazed that they have a 30 day return policy, so if you buy the wrong part or it doesn’t work, just keep your receipt. They have lots of tires available!
No one is smiling nor seems to want to be there. TRASH customer service, prices, and entry speed trash.... I have 3 brothers and we all used to visit here but no longer except my brother Archie and last time he went he was asked to show his ID at the checkout line and was told that it was just for the cameras. Where in the hell do they do that at?
He said this place is getting more and more like an airport check-in... They are making it more and more top-secret, like.. prices are overpriced, and the one guy with glasses Mike is a real-life parts police that makes you want to punch him in the mouth and holds up the line because he wants to micro manage everything that is going on except what he is supposed to do... Also my brother says that they make you take pics of yourself on the sign in tablets and if the picture doesn't capture your face your forced to go to the back of the line and retake the pic. I'm so glad I don't use them anymore. IF you really need a better place with better prices, you should visit Foss U-Pull-It. They are way nicer than the ppl here...
Not really sure where the negative reviews are coming from, but I’ve been here twice now and every time, I’ve been greeted by friendly and helpful staff. Stopped by today to grab a coil pack for my 2013 Elantra, couldn’t find any in the yard. Went to the front counter where Brian went above and beyond and looked in the back and found me 2 coil packs that I needed. Couldn’t be happier with the customer service I received. Pick and pull is one of a kind for our area, you bringing around tools you bring your own know how! They have acres vehicles, parts, and accessories. Two dollar entry fee will get you unlimited access to your vehicles parts, and there are pre-pulled parts that are for sale with reasonable pricing. You will be required to sign a waiver and I don’t believe minor children are allowed in without an adult. I think this place is so cool! Whether you need car parts right now, or you’re just curious and interested as to what you will see I recommend you go and check it out, on days you’ll be accompanied by our Navy fighter jets, circling the area, ensuring our safety! Take the time and run on over there and see what’s happening it is fun educational. Be prepared for rough, terrain and be extremely careful around all vehicles, but besides that You should go check this place out, you’ll never get a better front row seat at the inside of a junkyard!!!
Would give these guys 0 out of 10. very cheery people at the front desk - trying to sell us a new car because the cost of work needing to be done was going to be high. .High!!! Exorbitant in fact! Outrageous! We have had issues since dealing with this company for years! Highway robbery fortunately I have a mechanic husband who will do the work.. cheaper and better. Other people not so fortunate get a second opinion! Don't be sucked in to the scam and try to be forced to buy new...
I mean it’s a concept I guess. Got a bunch of stuff that would have usually cost me double otherwise but a large amount of the things I went to get is more expensive on site than it says online. They won’t honor the online parts list price so kind of feel bait and switched. I still got what I needed but I had to pay $40 more than I expected due to the discrepancy. Wish they would either update the website or honor the posted price until they do. False advertising is a crime after all
I have been going to this location in VA Beach for 5 years. Very clean recycle yard with good/ up to date inventory for how small it is. I do want to put on blast Amanda & Fredrick. Multiple times I have been there near the end of their shifts and they are extremely helpful and polite. Have been in customer service my whole life and they shine in that category.
Don’t call.. search online for what you need and stop by, enjoy the adventure.

As far as self service junkyards go Pick-n-Pull (formally known as U-Wrench-It) is definitely one of the better ones. Up front pricing, a decent selection of parts, and very knowledgeable employees. Plus the online inventory makes it easy to figure out if they have a specific vehicle before you head out so you can cut down on unproductive trips. I have been coming here for many many years and I plan on continuing to come here for the foreseeable future.

And with their knowledgeable staff with cross-references on nearly every vehicle part that was ever made,this is where you want to shop;especially on Federal holiday weekends,when great discount rates are offered. Though there are other yards in South Hampton Roads,pick-n-pull is worth the trip.Please bring tools.

This place is amazing. The staff for the most part are knowledgeable on all type of cars. Cheap entry fee of $2. Don't forget to bring your own tools and check their online inventory before showing up.
