Van and his associate were extremely prompt and helpful - they tested and replaced my car’s battery right in my driveway within a matter of minutes. Thank you both!
When AAA told me it would be two hours before a tow truck could arrive, I was horrified. I was sitting at the edge of a busy road and sitting there for two hours sounded dreadful. But when I called directly to the towing company assigned, the woman who answered my call could not have been nicer. She assured me that the driver would be there as quickly as possible but then explained that I did not have to wait with the car but could leave the car open with the keys inside (hidden) and make arrangements with the garage where the car was to be taken. It was such a relief to know I didn’t need to sit there waiting. Then Brandon, the tow driver, called to provide updates on his progress getting to my car. Not only that, but he sent a photo once he arrived and showed me that the police were with my car arranging to tow it but he was able to ensure that the police didn’t tow my car ~ thank you, Brandon!! Angelo’s Towing helped turn an overwhelming situation into something manageable and much less stressful. Outstanding customer service!!!!
**Update - last 2 sentences** Jerome came out when I called AAA for my dead battery, & he did a great job! He was so kind & understanding, & got my car started!! People that do a good job should get kudos! I also forgot to mention that the lady who answered the phone was kind when I told her I just had surgery, so if they could possibly get someone there sooner (it was already dark out) & she made sure to get Jerome out to me fast - I so appreciated that!!! Appreciate & recommend this company.
Monday morning i had some errands to run, howevermy chrysler 2021 van had other plans.......been a AAA member since 2004, never used until Monday.......i suspected my old battery failed. i had visions of extremely high issue and time consuming.
well within minutes of me calling AAA, Angelo's reached out and had a guy on the way, said maybe 20/30 mins......i am thinking 2 hours, but then i get a call from the tech, a fine guy by the name of Malachi pulls up in our driveway.....out come two boxes, he hooks them up to my old battery and after a bit of this and that, he says try her now........bingo, she runs......now he brings over this cell phone looking device and it tells him many things, anyway 20/25 mins later we settle up and my new best friend is gone. it was a good day after all.....amazing when you get hooked up with the right folks.
Mike provided truly top-notch customer service during a very stressful emergency for my family. His communication skills were outstanding—clear, timely, and reassuring every step of the way. He showed unwavering dedication and went above and beyond to make an overwhelming situation far less stressful than what we were already experiencing. He arrived in 10 minutes sooner than the 45 min window. His professionalism, compassion, and genuine effort did not go unnoticed. I’m incredibly grateful for his help and would highly recommend Mike to anyone in this field.
Angelo's Towing fulfilled a tow request for me which I submitted through AAA and I honestly had such a good experience. Mike was extremely kind and helpful during the whole process and made it a breeze. (And right before Christmas too!) Thank you, Mike!
Was given a 45 min window when the tow was ordered at 5:34PM and confirmed by Angelos to AAA at 5:42pm- but tow took 7.5 HOURS to show up and left us stranded in a CLOSED industrial warehouse parking lot until exactly 1AM with no open services around.
AAA Kept getting the run around from this company sending them fake updates every 45 mins AND phone calls that the driver was dispatched en-route with arrivals starting at 6:30pm.
Finally at 12:09AM we were told verbatim by Angelos dispatcher “there were more urgent calls over you that kept coming in, so we took them first; you should have just called someone else by 11:30pm because those text updates we send are just auto generated and not real”.
Our tow was for Fully disabled rear break line and no fluid (not drivable at all) with the owner WAITING ON SCENE for 7.5 HOURS- oceanfront to Suffolk delivery. Incredibly unprofessional experience all around.
I made an AAA called and was given a 1hr 45min estimated arrival time, but our technician Tyrus B was there in about 20 minutes! He was advised ahead of time of our issue and had an exact match for our battery that had flat out died. Despite yesterday's terrible weather he had us on our way in another 20 minutes at a very reasonable cost. He was professional, polite and friendly. Made us old geezers feel safe!
Super nice guy he really saved our night. We got locked out of the car on vacation it was raining and dark. I'm sorry I just forgot your name but you came and unlocked our car!!! You are a very nice man! We appreciate you!!!! Merry Christmas!!
Angelo's Towing is the best! They have somehow managed to employ the best employees. I have had more vehicle problems this YEAR than I have had since I joined AAA 56 years ago. Angelo's super employees have towed my car twice, started a battery twice on two different vehicles. Everyone one of these men have been competent, polite, easy-going, and caring to a somewhat hysterical old woman. I would name each of them individually but I can't remember all of their names. I don't want to leave anyone out. Thank you again for all of your fabulous drivers/employees.
Had these guys tow my truck and had Matthew for the driver. He is a very polite young man and knows his way around the tow truck. All I can say is if you need a tow...call Angelo's...I definitely recommend these guys ....Thanks again Matthew.

What a great experience! The technician, Khari,was patient and knowledgeable. He was able to quickly get me back on the road. He was friendly and very professional. He is a credit to Angelo's towing and represented AAA well.

They tried to whip the entire TOW TRUCK and pull a U turn as myself and another car are coming doing London bridge (45-55mph area). I had to slam on the brakes not to crash into him. Then as I pulled up to the light next to him he starts laying on his horn. Idk who he was honking at but then the car in front of him decided to not go on green due to his horn so he continued holding down the horn.
If that’s how you drive around representing a company vehicle I sure never want you towing my vehicle with a driver like that. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Reckless driver- almost caused an accident -
My Experience with Angela's Towing and AAA I was dispatched Angela's Towing through AAA for a tow. After waiting several hours, I was notified that their arrival time had been pushed back. The driver eventually arrived three hours later and informed me that they could not tow my vehicle because it was a box truck. It was a small box truck, and Angela's Towing was aware of the type of vehicle they were dispatched to tow. I believe the driver simply didn't want to do the job. I was very disappointed with the service and would not recommend Angela's Towing to anyone unless they want to waste time being stuck on the side of the road.
Even though no one likes having their car towed, I have nothing but praise for Angelo’s Towing. From the first interaction, they were polite, professional, and compassionate, a sharp contrast to how others handled the situation. Instead of just dropping the car and walking away, they went out of their way to help us get it out of their gate so we could make the repair on the spot. That small act saved us time, money, and a lot of extra stress. They turned a frustrating situation into a manageable one, and that kind of customer service deserves recognition!
This morning called AAA and sent you guys. This is not the first.time we have used you but as always I was so glad they sent you. Driver kept me up to date on timing. He was very friendly and overall just the best!

Mike R was our tow truck driver. He arrived early & got my vehicle on the tow truck with ease & a smile. Mike even climbed under my vehicle to take a picture show me the reason my vehicle broke. I cannot say enough about the positive experience I have had today with Mike & Angelo’s Towing. From the timing, positive attitude & attention to detail made this a 5 star experience. I’m a 30 year AAA member & this experience with Mike & Angelo’s Towing are the best!
I had a flat tire and they came very quickly and communicated with me throughout. I was having trouble finding my tires in a shop, and the guy that put my spare on recommended me a place where I ended up getting my tires and my alignment so I just wanted to say thank you!

Having car issues on vacation is never fun, but we sure did appreciate Mike at Angelo’s Towing in Virginia Beach. Not only did he get to us fast, but he made the whole process easy and even sent pictures to us as soon as he dropped off our vehicle at the repair shop. We appreciated his skill and friendliness!
One of the drivers consistently parks illegally in front of the townhouse he rents with his own vehicles. Today, 12/31/2024, the driver illegally parked the tow truck in a no parking, tow away zone. Absolutely hypocritical.
Update 4/3/2025 - same driver still is parking illegally. What is worse there is plenty or room in front of his own house that he rents where he can park legally
I have an EV and this was my first time having an EV towed but Matthew was wonderful. It's not often you meet workers that go above and beyond and Matthew is definitely one of the very few. While I am a very nice person, I am a stickler and slightly anal when it comes to good customer service. I strongly believe in treating people well and he exceeded my expectations. You can tell that he isn't just a great worker but just a good human being in general. He made me feel very comfortable and explained everything in detail. He let me know when he dropped off the vehicle, sent me a pic and let me know who he left my keys with. It's the little details that make customers feel valued. Matthew will be my go-to from now on when I have a towing need. You made a crazy situation a little less crazy. Now that is 5 star service. Thanks Matthew!
Douglas via AAA was prompt, efficient and friendly! Awesome service and paying via card over the phone was easy. He was 20-30 min earlier than the estimated time. He also tested my battery for me and quoted the same price as estimation ($121 for a 10 min tow…still $25 cheaper than others!) Only constructive feedback is he was given the wrong number so contacting me was initially fifficult. Thankfully he found me + we sorted it out. He also did a smooth + professional job at the difficult drop off point.
Sent someone out to me on a holiday in the pouring rain. Guy was super friendly and happy to help, did a great job patching my tire, whole thing only took 10 minutes and I was all good (Picture is before the fix)
UPDATED POST! 2/29/24 They saved the day again. Chester got to me super quickly. Right as VDot warned me I wasnt on the shoulder, but an actual lane. He towed me around to Wendys and quickly changed my tire. He let me sit in his warm truck until he was done. Very friendly, fast service with a smile.
Chris saved the day! My tire blew out in a scary spot. He was there aa quick as he could be, which was the estimated time. He was so fast and professional. Thank you again!
