They tried to whip the entire TOW TRUCK and pull a U turn as myself and another car are coming doing London bridge (45-55mph area). I had to slam on the brakes not to crash into him. Then as I pulled up to the light next to him he starts laying on his horn. Idk who he was honking at but then the car in front of him decided to not go on green due to his horn so he continued holding down the horn.
If that’s how you drive around representing a company vehicle I sure never want you towing my vehicle with a driver like that. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Reckless driver- almost caused an accident -
My Experience with Angela's Towing and AAA
I was dispatched Angela's Towing through AAA for a tow. After waiting several hours, I was notified that their arrival time had been pushed back. The driver eventually arrived three hours later and informed me that they could not tow my vehicle because it was a box truck. It was a small box truck, and Angela's Towing was aware of the type of vehicle they were dispatched to tow. I believe the driver simply didn't want to do the job.
I was very disappointed with the service and would not recommend Angela's Towing to anyone unless they want to waste time being stuck on the side of the road.
Even though no one likes having their car towed, I have nothing but praise for Angelo’s Towing. From the first interaction, they were polite, professional, and compassionate, a sharp contrast to how others handled the situation. Instead of just dropping the car and walking away, they went out of their way to help us get it out of their gate so we could make the repair on the spot. That small act saved us time, money, and a lot of extra stress. They turned a frustrating situation into a manageable one, and that kind of customer service deserves recognition!
This morning called AAA and sent you guys. This is not the first.time we have used you but as always I was so glad they sent you. Driver kept me up to date on timing. He was very friendly and overall just the best!

Mike R was our tow truck driver. He arrived early & got my vehicle on the tow truck with ease & a smile. Mike even climbed under my vehicle to take a picture show me the reason my vehicle broke. I cannot say enough about the positive experience I have had today with Mike & Angelo’s Towing. From the timing, positive attitude & attention to detail made this a 5 star experience. I had a flat tire and they came very quickly and communicated with me throughout. I was having trouble finding my tires in a shop, and the guy that put my spare on recommended me a place where I ended up getting my tires and my alignment so I just wanted to say thank you!

I was at the McDonald's on Providence at Providence Square shopping center and watched one of their drivers pull into the parking lot and back into a handicap parking spot then get out and go inside to order food there was no handicap stickers or placards on the truck. Apparently they believe that parking laws do not pertain to them. I would add a photo of the truck but I don't know how to add it to the review. The vehicle was a pick up truck with California plates and it is not a tow truck so it was not there to tow anybody. Matter fact the driver left with his food before I did so he was not there to help anyone.
Update 6/28/2025: Just had to call AAA for another tow. Once again, Angelo's was right on time! AAA told me it would be a 3-4 hour wait, but Will decided he'd be Johnny-on-the-spot and arrived within a few minutes of receiving his dispatch. He was prompt, courteous and professional. We dropped my vehicle off at my mechanic's shop and Will placed the vehicle so perfectly, I received a text message from the shop's owner (who was watching from home on his surveillance camera) telling me to leave a 5-star review. He said because it's such a tight space, many wrecker drivers have difficulty dropping vehicles in there, and they don't care enough to do a good job with placement. If I could double, or triple the stars, I would. Will, you saved the day! Thank you Angelo's for maintaining such an exemplary staff!
12/28/2023: Tyler has been here on two separate occasions for wrecker calls. Both times this young man has provided me with STELLAR service! I highly recommend this company because of Tyler and his extremely personable nature, his exercise of CARE, knowledge, and proper skills in hooking up and towing a vehicle. He's not some fly-by-night who doesn't care what he's hooking up to or where he's towing it to. He truly does care and it's highly apparent, he loves his job! He will also go above and beyond the call of duty to recommend a good mechanic or service station if you're in a pinch! I will go out of my way to request this young man EVERY time I need a tow!
Update 6/22/24: Just had to call AAA again and requested Angelo's. Michael was the driver who responded. Once again, this towing company did not disappoint! Michael was prompt, courteous, and expressed an exemplary level of professionalism! I will definitely request Angelo's EVERY time I need a tow!
I called AAA because I had a flat tire, and they sent Angelo’s Towing — and WOW, they definitely made my day! They arrived in less than 15 minutes, and within 10 minutes of being here, my tire was plugged and ready to go. Super fast, professional, and friendly service. I was able to run my errands without delay.

Started my vacation off with a flat tire, but Wayne came and picked me up and towed me to the dealership. Friendly, fast, and personable. Angelo's and specifically, WAYNE was the man.

I could not be happier with Angelo's Towing. I had to have another vehicle taken to the shop, while I was sick in bed with COVID. Angelo's has been so very helpful and resposive. Mike, our technician, is prompt, courteous, and professional, though I did not actually meet him to avoid the spread. Angelo's takes excellent care of our service members and families, works with AAA, and provided before and after confirmation photos of the vehicles if you are unable to be there when they pick up, or drop off. Thank you! If I could give Angelo's 8/5 stars, I would. Alas, this is a five star system. I appreciate All that they have done for me and my family in getting us back on the road. I highly recommend their services, as does AAA.
Having car issues on vacation is never fun, but we sure did appreciate Mike at Angelo’s Towing in Virginia Beach. Not only did he get to us fast, but he made the whole process easy and even sent pictures to us as soon as he dropped off our vehicle at the repair shop. We appreciated his skill and friendliness!
This towing service is the best Micheal Wych and his crew are outstanding. They came to my rescue today and I am so great full. He came out due to my car needing to be towed in my driveway but his truck was too big and he told me not to worry he would have a smaller truck come out and the other truck arrived and the young man had a smile on his face and took care of moving the car for me and told me to enjoy the rest of my day! One of the drivers consistently parks illegally in front of the townhouse he rents with his own vehicles. Today, 12/31/2024, the driver illegally parked the tow truck in a no parking, tow away zone. Absolutely hypocritical.
Update 4/3/2025 - same driver still is parking illegally. What is worse there is plenty or room in front of his own house that he rents where he can park legally
Contacted AAA, wrote to a chatbot about my car battery. Very easy and extremely prompt experience. Although some customers seem to have had a bad experience, we have used Angelos twice now and continue to have a 5 star experience.
I called this evening, 3/7, at 8pm for a tow and was told it would be 30 minutes before a driver would contact me. An hour later, I called back and was told it would be another hour and a half because they were prioritizing AAA members over cash customers. I called back at the 3 hour mark and was told that I would be contacted immediately by a driver. An hour later, I called back and was sent to voicemail and the link in the text that was sent stated that my tow had been cancelled. This company should not take any other business if they plan to prioritize their AAA contract instead of any other customers. It is now midnight and my vehicle is still stranded because of this awful company.
I wanted to shout out Matthew. He arrived earlier than expected and got straight to business. He gave me a detailed run down of what to expect and carefully loaded my vehicle and just as carefully unloaded it at my designated shop. Extremely professional literally the best tow I’ve had ever I will be utilizing him going forward for any tows on my vehicles.
I recently had an experience with a tow truck driver named Joshua that I just have to share. Late last night, I was stranded and feeling pretty anxious while waiting for a AAA tow. I was alone and the situation was starting to feel a bit overwhelming.
Then Joshua showed up, and everything changed. He was incredibly professional and kind, immediately putting me at ease. His presence made me feel safe, which was such a relief. Joshua took care of the job quickly and efficiently, ensuring that my car was handled with care and that I was back on the road as soon as possible.
I can't thank Joshua enough for his outstanding service. He turned a stressful situation into a positive experience with his expertise and reassuring demeanor. If you ever need a tow, I highly recommend Joshua – he's the best!
Recent call for dead battery. Cold and beginning to snow. Tech did show at scheduled time. He gets two stars. Battery was 6 months old and car had been fine two days ago. Put his diagnostics on battery, and stated the battery ok but alternator was bad. Put his jump pack on for 2 minutes and attempted to start with no response. Asked him to charge battery long enough for one start to drive it 2 miles to my mechanic. Told me to call the AAA Tow service as it was alternator. Went out this morning and after charging with my other vehicle for 15 minutes, started right up and no alternator warning light has appeared. Technician gave impression that he needs more training as a car with bad alternator can be jumped at least to get it to mechanic, or he just wanted to get out of the cold and move on to next client. I have used AAA many times over 25 years, this was well below the typical service. I write this hoping more training will fix this for future customers in need.
I have an EV and this was my first time having an EV towed but Matthew was wonderful. It's not often you meet workers that go above and beyond and Matthew is definitely one of the very few. While I am a very nice person, I am a stickler and slightly anal when it comes to good customer service. I strongly believe in treating people well and he exceeded my expectations. You can tell that he isn't just a great worker but just a good human being in general. He made me feel very comfortable and explained everything in detail. He let me know when he dropped off the vehicle, sent me a pic and let me know who he left my keys with. It's the little details that make customers feel valued. Matthew will be my go-to from now on when I have a towing need. You made a crazy situation a little less crazy. Now that is 5 star service. Thanks Matthew!
Douglas via AAA was prompt, efficient and friendly! Awesome service and paying via card over the phone was easy. He was 20-30 min earlier than the estimated time. He also tested my battery for me and quoted the same price as estimation ($121 for a 10 min tow…still $25 cheaper than others!) Only constructive feedback is he was given the wrong number so contacting me was initially fifficult. Thankfully he found me + we sorted it out. He also did a smooth + professional job at the difficult drop off point.
