I was in there today and experienced the worst customer service ever - the guy I was asking questions on a reverse lightbulb for my vehicle was nothing but a smart ass - I’ll never spend anymore money at any advance auto again
Wish I could put zero stars Dont recommend going to the advance in claypool hill beside tractor supply when the weather got in the negative my battery went out on my car so I had my car jumped to go and get a new battery paid $200 for a battery for them to put it in backwards not once but twice and of all things it was the manager who did it so it messed up my car called my insurance it went to a garage to be fixed got it back last Monday drove it till Friday Friday night went to start my car and my electronics were going hay wire and then nothing nothing worked had it towed to vaults wagon in tn and today I talked to my adjuster and their totaling my car because the module cost $4,000 not including the work so $5,989.45 nit including $995 dollars they already paid to have it fixed I only owe 6,984.45 on my loan so thank advance you turned my 200 dollar fix to something way more I understand people make mistakes but for the love of God it totaled my car
In the past year and a half I have never gotten the correct parts on the 1st trip.
It's to the point the company has my account flagged for bringing so many parts back.
Once again this happened yesterday. You may think this isn't a big deal, but when you have your vehicle in pieces in your yard and have to find a ride 8.5 miles back in to town and back home.
Plus when you add in the extra cost of the gas, I have lost so much money dealing with this one store.
If you live in the cedar bluff area GO TO THE RICHLANDS STORE OR ANY OTHER AUTO PARTS STORE.
I will not take my business to this store anymore. This was the last straw.
My car wouldn't start so I booster it off and headed to advance. Free test showed the battery was shot. Got a good deal on a battery and John (the general manager) went out of his way to help me get back on the road. Free replacement and my positive terminal was almost completely gone. John even took the time to replace the terminal. Once finished he even cleaned and sprayed protectant. Great experience! Thanks again John!
