Super friendly employee. Great selection of items reasonable prices . Offered me and my wife a refreshing water at no cost. I will be visiting again soon. Had a great selection of collectibles i am looking for. Im excited to get back to store thank you for being a nice place to find vintage items.
Was our second time there and it was a trip down memory lane. The prices were reasonable and the service was very friendly! Looking forward to going back soon to purchase items we were interested in and needed to organize some space.
So I moved into Ivor a few months ago and I decided to pop my head in. I did not expect much but the stores are filled to the brim with anything you can imagine.
I love the fact that there's a little bit for everyone and I go in every couple of weeks, hoping to spot a book or something that is neat. The selection of items range from new Disney toys all the way back to things like the Atari 2600.
Great place to shop at with a fantastic selection. The owners were very nice and courteous and even graciously adjusted their hours to accommodate my time crunch. Will definitely be returning again.
Wonderful experience, true antiques ranging from later 1800s through the 1980s. Wonderful service, and great personality behind the counter. Would shop here again 12/10

Stopped by because there was an adorable doll house outside on a table. When entering the two owners were present and didn't really greet me or even make eye contact. They have a great selection and a lot of neat items but the owners were pretty rude so I didn't buy anything.
Great store that is easy to find, plenty of space to move around (I'm 6'4 and a big guy and never felt like it was tight. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I'll definitely make the trip again.

Lots of good selections with decent prices. Only downside was not being able to negotiate at all.
Edit: They were for a kid but for a 100% profit you can keep the 5 boxes of cards you have on hand for the other kids lol
Amazing antique shop - great finds and the owners were incredibly nice/very helpful. I found exactly what I was looking for and found everything to be reasonably priced.
There is a very nice selection of vintage items. I was pleased to get some wonderful jadeite and Pyrex for myself and my daughter in law. Knowledgeable and helpful owners as well.
Almost everything I was interested in was way overpriced so I didnt bother asking about anything... the building full of stuff but at the same time I couldnt find anything i couldnt live without. Not worth the drive all the way out there.
I get that they are going for a small town junk shop feel but this place was so cramped you couldn't move. The prices are definitely not "good" for a shop 30 min from anything. Most of the items I checked were priced at or above the fancy antique malls in Richmond or Norfolk. The folks behind the counter definitely cater to locals and I really didn't feel welcomed like some of the other customers they greeted as old friends. Honestly, I regret the gas I wasted driving all the way out there.
Incredible finds. Personally I think the prices are great. Was able to bundle a couple of items for a great deal. There’s so much to see if you are into collecting. Even had vintage console games and some actual famicom cartridges from Japan!?! Always enjoy stopping by this little mom and pop and daughter shop.
Great place to find just about anything you want. Owners were welcoming at treated me like family, even helped me load the items into my car. I will definitely be going back.
Oh my God... Honestly, I don't want to tell anyone about this place! It's THAT awesome! First of all, before getting to the door, I was greeted by 4 employees with smiles! I've been waiting and waiting to go here and I finally went. I only had $10 and I deeply regret that. Do NOT go here without money! Guaranteed to find some thing(s) you want. I was able to find my very first piece of vintage uranium glass here for an excellent price. Little did the staff know, once I discovered a whole 'nother room in the shop, I nearly had a panic attack. Legit. I've never been surrounded by soooo much cool stuff in real life. I can't wait to go back with the family.

PS - You can't complain about a retail shop selling at retail prices. I see a lot of negative reviews about the high prices. Well, if you don't like the prices, you can EITHER try to negotiate, bundle items for a better price, or go straight to eBay and pay for shipping like most everyone seems to want to do anyway. This is a family owned business trying to make a living in a TINY community. Take your money somewhere else if you are not happy with their prices. Simple. As. That.
My wife and I stop there the other weekend. What a great little shop. My wife found silver ware to match her great grandmothers and a small hanging scale from 1914. I found a couple of wrenches I was missing Craftsmen made in the USA. The selection was great , prices very reasonable and the people were very friendly.
Fun shop in a very cool old brick building. Prices are on the high side, but have a few harder to find items. And there are some good prices if you dig. I'll definitely be back when I'm out that way
Pickers paradise is one of my Grandmother's favorite places to go to, she has nostalgia going there and remembers so many daily objects like pans, canned goods, toys and etc from the old days. I personally like Pickers Paradise because they are so kind, they have free drinks, Viking horns, Guns and etc. Have a great day at Pickers Paradise!
I Love that place! I was there this morning and bought 2 beautiful Wedgewood plates with the Countryside design made in England. I picked up a couple of other knick-knacks which all were reasonably priced. These family members were very helpful and knowledgeable about their items. ❤I will definitely go back!
I don’t know how they can call it pickers paradise. American Pickers show would laugh at their prices. Coleman lanterns (my drug of choice) were priced at near the maximum price I’ve ever seen on eBay. I guess someone who works there saw a rare Coleman lantern in pristine condition sell for $400 once on eBay so they figured they can sell all of their beat up lanterns for $200. I’ve never paid more than $50 for any of my babies.
First time there and won't go back. Don't know what they have and aren't willing to negotiate, especially the wife. Not a bad selection but $85 for a hatchet is a bit excessive.
they posted a picture of a bandsaw with a price tag of $100 when I arrive there the band saw had new price tag of $150 and I asked if they would negotiate they told me they had two of them and the other one had sold, the one in the picture and the one in the store both had a piece of plexiglass on the table it was the same band saw. I HATE BEING LIED TO. the thing is I probably would have paid 150 for it.
This is a nice, small antique store with a wide variety of items from jewelry to tools to furniture to video games. The prices are very reasonable and the owners are very amiable. I strongly recommend visiting!
Originally found this little gem through an ad on Craigslist. Drove down to pick up my treasure, and looked around some more and found a few others to take home with me ?. Kinda easy to miss if you're just cruising down 460, but turn at the light in Ivor, and you'll find it across from the post office, on the other side of the train tracks.
The owner is a sweet lady who obviously loves what she does. Even the building is an antique with a rich local history. Go visit, and ask her yourself!
