Ordered a jump starter online. The email receipt explicitly states AutoZone will email when ready for pick up. Waited 3 hours and no email. Drove to AutoZone and the starter was sitting behind the counter. 2 young guys were working on this Saturday and the one behind the counter gave me an attitude for inquiring about the pickup email and simply walked away. AutoZone needs to hire employees without an attitude for simple customer service.

I have visited AutoZone multiple times in the past, and unfortunately, my experiences have been consistently disappointing. The staff working at this location appear to lack the necessary knowledge about motors and parts, leading to frustrating encounters every time I visit. On several occasions, my father has visited AutoZone in search of a specific part for his vehicle, only to discover that the part recommended by the staff does not properly fit. When these incorrect parts are returned, the employees' response is often a dismissive "Well, that's what the computer calls for." This recurring issue highlights a significant problem with the level of expertise and customer service provided at this AutoZone location. In a store dedicated to automotive needs, it is crucial for the staff to possess a deep understanding of cars and their components to assist customers effectively. Unfortunately, this fundamental requirement seems to be lacking at this particular branch. As a customer seeking reliable automotive solutions, the repeated instances of receiving incorrect parts and unhelpful responses have left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied with AutoZone. Went over for help with installing a low beam light and every single staff member was extremely kind and helpful. They went above and beyond helping me out and i couldn’t have asked for anyone better.

I was shocked when a young employee wouldn't help an older employee for a quick second,but said he was going home!It would have only taken a couple minutes to look at what I was purchasing for my car.

This was my first time here. I liked it because they were not breathing down your neck as we walked through the door. The place was clean and the employees were not just standing around. I believe the man that waited on us was mgr or the asst mgr. He was very helpful. He put on our wiper blades for us. We had 2 vehicles he then continued inside to finish up. I was pleased with my first visit. Will be going back.

After my car broke down 100+ miles from home, I had it towed to this AutoZone. Francis and his colleagues showed true sympathy for my situation. They went above and beyond to help my father and I find the right parts to get my car up and running again. Extraordinary customer service!

The employee at Timberville Autozone, Gunnar, said he couldn't install a $300 battery in my truck that I just purchased there. There was no one in the store but he said, "I was hoping to avoid doing that today. It's just me and the young guy here." I said, "No problem, I'm a grown man. I can do it myself. I don't want to put you out." He then tried to charge the core charge even though I was changing it right in front of the store and bringing the old one in. Still no other customers there. I go out to change the battery as he's walking out on his phone. He stayed on his phone the entire time and was still on it outside when I left. I guess he had time for that. I took the old battery back in and told the "young guy" that his coworker was a jerk. I will NOT be going back to Timberville Autozone. There's Advance Auto right across the street. I guess they hire anyone that will show up these days.

We're from out of town and broke down... went to this AutoZone and when I tell you they are the nicest folks you'll ever meet! Joanna and Chris. They were soooo helpful and knowledgeable. After purchasing a new battery and having it installed we still needed an alternator. After purchasing the parts they recommended a local mechanic who was also amazing! Extra Mile Garage. It's people like we had help us today that makes a bad situation bearable. Thank you everyone and God bless.

My cars radiator hose busted and a friend and I walked across the street to buy a new one! We didn't have much money for tools, they trusted us enough to barrow their tools. After we replaced it, we were able to get the car to the store and asked if they could help us make sure we put it on right. They helped us outside for about 2 hours! Nothing BUT HELPFUL AND SO KIND! THEY HAD GREAT CONVERSATION AND LAUGHS WITH US AND WE WERE ABLE TO FIX THE PROBLEM AND DRIVE AWAY! Highlyyy recommend!

Store personnel are very helpful but I think they should have an experienced tech that has actually worked on vehicles to assist people.Needed a 10x175 crowned lug nut,they hand me a lug open type alot bigger in diameter that would have and not properly secured my rim along with digging a groove in my 300 dollar rim.after explaining the lady looked again and sold me the right one.very helpful and nice.

My camper van broke down at 830PM. I pulled into this AutoZone right before closing time. The two managers tested my battery and alternator, had the replacement alternator in stock and helped me get the right tools for the job. They allowed me to stay overnight in the parking lot to wait out the rain and gave me their cell phone numbers in case the parking security gave me any issues. They also asked if I had food and water. I was up and running by the morning after I swapped my alternator in the parking lot. Super nice and knowledgeable people in this AutoZone.

My engine check light was on. A helpful rep at AutoZone checked the computer read out. A couple of bottles of gas cleaner were recommended, which I purchased at a reasonable price. One bottle seems to have remedied the problem! I will gladly add the other when I refuel (by God's grace), to give the engine the extra cleaning it needs.

If you can get the stuff you need elsewhere, do that. AutoZone just isn't going to beat walmart prices. I've had an AutoZone employee suggest that I go to Walmart to save $. It is handy, shopping at AutoZone, because there's not many people in the store. So if you want to spend more money and have a calmer shopping experience, AutoZone is the place to do it. The employees are always nice and eager to help as well

Got a speed sensor for my jeep and it didn’t work, just called to see if I could return it and get a new one. Amy answered the phone in a rude manor and I have been on hold now for 15 minutes. There is more than one person working at all times and there is no reason for being rude or being on hold the long!

Very friendly and helpful staff! Only negative is they didn’t have the NGK spark plugs in stock that I needed. Had to drive to Harrisonburg.
