Our van hit a deer and we were stranded on the side of the highway. Randy and his son came out fast, loaded up our van, and dropped us all off at a hotel nearby. The next day they opened their lot to let us unload all of our gear so we could head home. Great guys, great service!
Popped in here after my car started making the most God awful noise on 81 because a couple undercarriage bolts had broken loose and the metal was dragging on the road. After receiving excellent care and information on the phone, the woman at the front desk grabbed a couple screws, laid down right in the parking lot, and sent us on our way! Didn't even charge us for the trouble! I wish I lived in the area so that Trans Tech could be my regular mechanics, they're so generous and just straight up kind.
We stopped in here, out of the blue, to have them take a once over on a vehicle we were contemplating buying. They were so kind to get us in immediately !! It was such a relief! Everyone was so nice and understanding and explained everything to my husband! We are so thankful to them for letting us just walk in!

I drive an 18 wheeler. On my way to deliver a load, a pickup truck made a sudden left-hand turn right in front of me and totaled my tractor. Shockingly no one was injured.
After my first call to a mean, nasty and overpriced towing company, who promised to charge a $200.00/ day storage fee, I got lucky enough to contact Trans Tech Towing & Repair.
Heather and her crew courteously towed my rig to their yard, allowed me to spend the night, delivered my load the next day, gave me two more days in her yard while I transferred my belongings to my undamaged trailer and arranged for transport back to Florida.
Thanks to Trans Tech Towing I got the best possible outcome for a really bad situation and their storage fee was $200.00/ month.

My son got his car stuck on a mountain and after calling a few tow companies I spoke to Heather at Trans Tech. She sent Randy straight to us and he was amazing!! Only took him a few minutes to figure out how to get the car back on the road. I have nothing but praise for my experience with them from start to finish!!
Trans Tech to the rescue! Not once but twice! The first rescue was with my daughter’s car. I took it to multiple auto repair shops and they couldn’t figure out the issue with her car so I took it to Trans Tech. They found the issue quickly with her car! She was back on the road again after months of being unable to drive it. Then I had an issue with a tire on my car that was only holding 18 lbs of pressure. I went to several tires places in town and nobody would help me. I went to Trans Tech and they got me in immediately and repaired my tire! The valve stem needed replaced. Thank you all for your hard work and DOING A GREAT JOB! Thank you again!
I would recommend trans tech to anyone! Melissa in the office is so helpful and really knows her stuff. I always feel welcome, and it's great because anytime they look at my car they let me know if I need something. I am a mail carrier, and it is really nice that when I go they are making sure my jeep has everything in working order.

Hands down best service! I broke down on my way to work yesterday morning. Trans Tech not only towed my vehicle from Harrisonburg back to Broadway they were able to diagnosis the problem and fit me in and fix my vehicle the same day in between their already busy schedule. I had my SUV back that same evening. Highly recommend Trans Tech they are awesome!!!!
I discovered Trans Tech when I was in route to Washington DC and hit piece of debris on I-81 that disabled my car. State police dispatched a tow truck from Trans Tech to tow my vehicle, and they sent Randy. To say that Randy went above and beyond to help me and my family is an understatement. He not only helped get my car to the garage but also used his own personal vehicle to take me and my family 30 minutes away to pick up a rental car. I have never been so impressed with customer service in my life. Randy and Melissa were my guardian angels that day. They were both friendly, professional, and efficient, and my car was fixed and good as new within 24 hours (not to mention that the cost was incredibly affordable). I don’t live near Trans Tech, but if I did, I guarantee that they would be my go-to for all car repairs. I cannot recommend this company and its employees enough.
I have delt with many mechanics and sence then have made Trans Tech my go-to. These people know what there doing. Top notch quality work. The installation of a lift kit and a body mount chop for the larger tires (welded by Gordon) exceeded expectations of a skilled Mechanic. I have recommended this Garage to all my family and friends. I won't go anywhere else. Customer service defines what a small town community should be, polite, helpful and patient. Good work and good people.
My experience with Trans Tech has been extremely wonderful. They have been extremely Curtiers on phone and in person. I went in for a alignment. There was nothing wrong with my alignment they said. They could of easily said it was and charged me full price. But didn't I appreciate the honest and the fact they only charged me for alignment check.
So thankful for Tans Tech! We called around 8:40pm to have my car towed home and they sent someone immediately. The woman who answered was very quick to send Randy to the rescue. He had my car sitting peacefully back in my driveway all within 40min (counting drive time) and the price is very reasonable. We will always use them in the future if needed! Thank you all so much!
We are so grateful for Trans Tech. It's clear that kindness, reliability and fairness are core values of this company. We started getting our routine maintenance there over the past year and they have been efficient and fair. They have bailed us out multiple times with car troubles from minor to extreme by helping asap and with consistent communication. The most impressive interaction with Trans Tech made them stand above the rest. We were stuck for hours in a backup on 81 from an accident and of course our car overheated and wouldn't start. The backup was so bad the tow company that Geico called refused to help due to the difficulty to come get us. I asked them, "What about Trans Tech?" They came. The tow truck driver, Michael, not only braved the horrible traffic to help us he was also really fun to talk to, which made my anxiety from sitting in traffic for 5 hours release. So they rescued us and fixed our car up! Melissa at the front desk is very knowledgeable and always amazing at calling us with updates. Car stuff is so stressful but I feel confident when it comes to our car because Melissa and the whole team have our back.
From all of the various mechanics my wife and I have been to in the past few years, none have seemed to put forth the effort that those at Trans Tech have to ensure us about our vehicle. We unfortunately ran into car trouble with both cars we own and we took them to Trans Tech to get worked on. With the help and transparency Melissa the service manager gave us, I never felt once that we were being coerced into having to pay for anything unnecessary. They even offered to pick me up at my house and take me back to the shop so that way I didn't have to walk. I never got service like the type I got from these guys, and because of that I will always choose Trans Tech for any car-related issues I have in the future. Thanks so much again for everything you all have done to make sure my family and I are safe in our vehicles.

We lost a rear wheel bearing in our motor home. This knowledgeable, friendly, professional business worked us in and did a same day repair. They did a great job. Had an appointment for an alignment, the work was completed in a timely fashion and for a comparable price to several other shops that had quoted me an alignment. Desk staff was very friendly.
I blew a transmission pump seal and others on my way to Florida in my RV, these guys saved me hundreds of dollars in hotel fees by providing a one day turn around in a job most guys probably would t get into. Eternally grateful for them and their super fair pricing. 10/10 would recommend cheers 🤙🏼
