My family has used Woods Service Center since the 1970's, and I have used them ever since I started driving. Throughout the years they have saved me thousands and thousands of dollars that dealerships service centers were trying to charge me for services not needed. I highly recommend them for any service needs you have for your vehicle!

I am new to the area and started coming to woods due to the location to my home. Prices are lower them competitors and the staff is always very kind and knowledgeable. Devin has helped me in the past and does great work. I have becoming a returning loyal customer!

Woods Service Center I took my Jeep in for transmission fluids they checked it .They told me it looked good and did not charge me . Woods is Wonderful . The employees are great also.

Brought in my 2004 Rav4 on the recommendation of a friend. They could not have been kinder or more helpful. 10 out of 10 recommend. Plus- walk down to RND Coffee while you wait!

Wood services is amazing. I always take my cars for oil change & tires! They know exactly what they are doing & their prices are reasonable!

Careful. Will throw you out in a minute, no matter how good a customer you are. Said i was rude to a person on the phone who was rude to me who refused to transfer me to service, Told me to come for my car and never return. Refuses to take or work with ANY warranties. BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES.

I've only used this place twice. First for an oil change. Later for a Virginia vehicle inspection. They did fine on both occasions. They are conveniently located near my home.

They stand behind their work. Had an issue that required replacement of front struts and mounts. Had to take car back two more times after for the same issue. The last time they even loaned me an old SUV while they were looking at my car. Two years later I'm here getting the car aligned, and they find a generic straight bolt in the strut mount where there should be a model-specific adjustable bolt. I wondered why my car was eating tires...

If you have an older model car do no take it here. Son took his car to get the alternator fixed and 3 day later it went bad again so he took it back and they fixed it and my son was told not to bring it back because it was to much of a hassle to fix. That's bad business if you ask me

First time using Woods. Had flat tire and used donut till next morning when I called Woods. They got me in and out very quickly so I could get to work on time, even though they appeared to be slammed with work, and I'm not a regular customer. I know it's impossible to do this for every customer, every time, but I sure do appreciate the excellent customer service! Thank you Woods!!

Having relocated to the area seven months ago I needed to find an honest and capable garage for my cars. I hit the lottery when I found Wood's! The service, communication and pricing has been absolutely exceptional. I am a customer for life! I'm only sad that only five stars are available because this establishment and the employees are at least a ten!!

Please stay away from this place! They price gouge. Brought in our vehicle they say it would cost 1100$ to fix we took it to another place and it was 580$ to fix. Not only that but they charged us 130$ to look at it and that was not discussed before hand.

This place has great reviews, the customer service seemed great. But they said it would cost about $1000 to repair my car. A friend looked at it and fixed it for $10 in about 15 minutes. Looks like they charge a single woman tax. I will not be returning.

I so love Woods Service in Vinton. They are so honest and fair. Ray towed my car in such a nice guy. Then Allen and Billy are the salt of the earth. The mechanics are the very best. They truly could have taken this old lady to the bank but I'm so impressed at how honest and fair they are

Highly recommend. My 15+ year old vehicle was in need of high mileage maintenance that is very pricey (timing belt, wheel bearings) the guys who quote were very personable, helpful, and patient in determining what needs/should be done and seemed very knowledgeable about the make/model of the vehicle. They prepared me for a 2 day stay and worst case scenario for price. The night drop was very convenient. Within a day and a half I got the call the car was ready and there were no surprises at pick up. My husband is a home mechanic and was very worried to have someone else work on the car. We will certainly be coming back for any maintenance that we do not have the ability to do at home.

Quality service, but a bit overpriced for certain things. A 4.5qt mobil synthetic oil change without filter replacement should not cost $60 considering a 5qt container cost right under $25 by itself and they only charge $3 for oil disposal. In my opinion, if you can't change the oil yourself for whatever reason; schedule an appointment at Walmart and save money alongside getting more done. If you need a part replaced or installed however, I do recommend Wood's.

We have all of our vehicles serviced here. This place is very good. When my daughter comes to visit me she always gets her SUV serviced if it's time. Allen who works at the front desk is so nice and friendly. We trust their opinions on any repairs that need to be done.

I’d highly recommend Wood’s Service Center. I was in from out of town and my low tire pressure light came on. After searching for air stations and trying to find quarters (current coin shortage) I decided to test my luck and stop by. It was 5 minutes until closing on a Saturday but the staff was very friendly and didn’t even flinch at me asking for some air. The gentlemen helped fill all my tires and was very nice, didn’t even charge me a cent. Great friendly service!

These guys really went above and beyond. My car broke down on 81 S with a broken brake line 5 miles from the hotel where I was already going. Woods picked me up and dropped me off at the hotel and took my car to be fixed. Then when it was ready they picked me back up. The whole bill was only $250. Its hard when you are out of town and your car breaks down, you dont know who to call. I wish a shop like Woods was as easy to find everywhere.

They were quick over the phone about coming in and I'd have my car inspected and oil change soon after I arrived. This was true but once I got there the receptionist seemed flustered and overworked he kept running to and from the garage asking basic questions giving misinformation and I had to explain multiple times why I was there and how much did I owe was asked more than necessary. Final note when I asked about my fee for parts and labor he just stared at his computer screen for fifteen minutes and finally I asked if he had figured out a price and suddenly he was like oh yeah and then printed it out..... experience here was okay not bad but somebody help the guy at the desk because he needs a break or a better system.

Today may well have been the hottest day this year. Kevin came and helped us and was incredibly patient and persistent. He worked his tail off. I highly recommend them and am ever so thankful for Kevin.

These guys are the best. They are honest and very helpful. It does not matter how big or small the issue is. Do not be intimidated by the busy parking lot. They will do there best to work you in get you on your way. I only trust them to even change my oil.

Awesome guys here. They diagnosed my truck quickly, and had it back to me in no time. Cost was very competitive, too. Will continue to do business with them.

One of the most difficult things to find is a mechanic that you can trust. Often you leave a garage wondering if you were just taken or if you were sold more than you needed just to incease the price. This is not the case with Woods Service Center. Kellen and the guys at Woods are trustworthy excellent mechanics. Thay have been servicing the vehicles in my family since I moved here in 2008. They are always fast, courteous, and thourough. They work hard to satisfy and they stand behind their work. If you are looking for a shop you can trust this is the place!

Knowledgeable staff, but very expensive. A staff member said they charge really $100 per hour. It cost me almost $300 just to put a water pump in after I had already bought the pump itself. The staff helped me understand what issues my truck was having so that was nice.

Brought these guys some wheels and tires I purchased for my car. They were extremely nice, fair priced, and called me not long after saying they were ready for pickup. Installation was perfect, not a scratch! Highly recommend their services to anyone and the next time I need tires mounted this is where I will go. Thanks guys

I cannot say enough good things about this auto shop. I brought my car in for something I thought would be a minor problem - my heat wasn't very warm. They got me in right away - and found that my coolant had essentially solidified. The technicians went to work as if it were their own car. Unfortunately, my radiator could not be saved, but it wasn't for lack of trying. The folks faithfully kept in touch with me - I never felt I was getting anything but honesty. When my car wasn't ready when they thought it might be, they gave me a very nice loaner at no cost. And, when I picked up my car, I was stunned that they had cut their own labor costs to make the bill as affordable as possible. I'm a single woman with very little knowledge of car innards - they treated me like family. I feel blessed to have found my way to this great business, and would recommend them to ANYONE.
