I had a really good experience with Robert Young’s Auto & Truck, Inc. The company was quick to respond and very professional from start to finish. Their dispatcher gave clear information, and the service was reliable. The tow truck arrived on time, and the whole process was handled smoothly without any unnecessary delays. Our son needed immediate attention in moving his car as he was stranded with 2 blown tires. The towing service acted quickly to move the car to a different location. The peace of mind it gave us to know the car and our son would be ok is priceless. Thank you so much!
I got stuck with a blown tire on I 81 at about 11 pm. AAA left me on the road, my hazard lights stopped working and my cellphone was nearly dead. Rob from Robert Young cane to the rescue when AAA did not. I can't say enough good things about Rob. He managed the tough job of putting my very heavy EV onto his truck quickly, gave me a much needed bottle of water, and got me and my car to my hotel, perfectly positioned at the EV charging station. Mostly, Rob is clearly a good person who excels - not only at the technical aspects of his career, but at the human level instilling confidence and safety and the sense that you have a friend getting you out of a tough situation to where you need to be!
Rob gave me a card for Robert Young and if I had any additional trouble I would have skipped AAA, called his company directly, and paid out of pocket to get the high level of reliability and customer service I got from Rob. Thank you, Rob! And I wish you all good things in life and career!
I recently had to have one of my antique classic cars towed. It was a difficult scenario in that the car was in my garage, down a narrow driveway, and not easily accessible. Codi and A.J. from Robert Young's Towing promptly arrived at my home, studied the situation, and used their talent and equipment to successfully accomplish the task. They were terrific! This was probably the best experience I have had with a towing company. They are more than fair and considering the tough day I was having I dealt with great service and professionalism as well as a fair price. I am more than pleased with my experience with this company. I will definitely be using them again if I have another breakdown. 5 stars easy!!

Today was a terrifying experience that was made a lot easier with the bright help of your towing company but particularly Victor. He was awesome and a true professional. Thank you for helping us through a hard time.
I typically ere on the side of "if you can't say something nice", however, I also appreciate if someone forewarns of a business to stay away from. I would not ever use this tow truck company again. The only nice thing I can say is that they showed up quickly. We had a car that needed to be towed from 220 during morning traffic. When I said where I wanted it towed, the driver said he could tow it there, but I would have to pay him standing there right then. I wish I had taken the time to do that, but since we had already been standing on the side of the road for over an hour I wanted to get off the road. Since I did not pay him then and there, they towed it to their lot, and waited for State Farm to send another tow truck to pick it up and take it to the body shop. I don't even care that they charged $1500 for the tow and for it to sit there from Tuesday morning for Friday night. What I do care about is that they PLACED A LIEN with the DMV on my vehicle the day the towed it. I was there when it was picked up, it was not abandoned, and they knew they were getting paid. When I called to inquire as to why a lien was placed on a car THE DAY THEY PICKED IT UP, they said that was standard procedure. I have had many wrecked vehicles towed in the past and NEVER has one had a lien placed on it. I will let a car sit unattended on any road before I call them again.
Needed a tow and james came through. Theses guys are awesome. I was on the side of road for hours waiting on AAA. AAA never showed up but James did and he towed me 2 plus hours back home. He the coolest dude ever by the way.
I’ve known Robert R. Young for 25 years, but I never had the occasion to need his company’s services until recently. I was attending a local event and while parking my vehicle, it ran into a ditch. I was concerned about the undercarriage. A couple of Robert’s employees dropped everything to inspect my vehicle and determined that nothing underneath had been damaged. I was so relieved, and I highly recommend Robert’s company. Thanks for the great service!
After I was in an accident, the tow driver ensured to take the time needed to load my car carefully and avoid more damage! The staff was super friendly and gave Me a great recommendation on where to send my vehicle for repairs. I highly recommend using them for any of your towing needs!
I rented a piece of heavy landscaping equipment that became bogged down along the creek bed that runs behind my property. I unfortunately selected Robert Young towing to call for service. After describing my situation IN DETAIL, as requested by the dispatcher, I was told they could take care of the situation for $250. The driver who was dispatched arrived driving an industrial-sized vehicle that could be used to salvage an overturned train. He quickly concluded that his vehicle was too heavy to enter the “soft soil” in my back yard/along the creek (duh!) and stated he would go get a smaller tow truck, “but it will cost more”. As it was Saturday afternoon and my rental was due back in a couple hours, I really didn’t have much of a choice and this man knew that. After returning with a “standard” tow-truck, the job was completed without further issue or difficulty. It was at that time that I was told my charge would be $450, which seemed to be a somewhat arbitrary number this guy came up with after mulling it around in his head for a few seconds. I paid the bill, again I really had no choice at the time. I contacted Robert Young first thing Monday morning about the situation, and “in the spirit of good will” was refunded $100. I still did not find that satisfactory, as I was told the service would be $250 and it was not my fault or responsibility that the man arrived in a vehicle he should have already known would be too big for the job as described over the phone. I then contacted a State of Virginia-level agency with oversight over towing companies. They noted a long history of problems with Robert Young towing, and encouraged me to file a formal complaint with their office. That must have hit a delicate nerve, as the next thing I heard from Robert Young towing was a letter from their lawyer, attacking me for filing the complaint. Obviously, at that point, I wasn’t going to pursue further complaints, as hiring a lawyer to fight with their lawyer would cost me WELL over the $100 over-charge I felt they still owed me in reimbursement. However, I certainly would HIGHLY discourage anyone from voluntarily dealing with this crooked organization, unless you like surly service, being lied to, being held financially responsible for the decisions THEY make, and then being threatened with a lawyer when you register complaints!

Mr. Gibson was at my rescue in a blink of an eye. My world, my life, my families income is my dump truck. When one tire went over the edge of a hill and it just escalated from there Robert Young’s towing set me back on level ground. Being an owner operator, they made me feel as if they wanted my success as bad as I did. Beautiful equipment, so professional, thank you Robert Young’s towing!
My 17 year old daughter was involved in a car accident on 81, four hours away from home, not a call any parent wants to get. Vick responded to the call quickly, was professional and showed compassion to a scared teen driver. Office staff & Vick were willing to work with us to pick her vehicle up on the weekend. Not a service anyone wants to use, but if needed I highly recommend Robert Young’s Towing! Great customer service!
