Unfortunately I went in to look at cars, found a lovely VW that I was interested in, and the sales person that helped me cleared the transmission light when it came on, claiming it was just faulty and that nothing was detected.
Reading these reviews and seeing what high ratings this place had, I reluctantly decided to purchase the vehicle as I needed something quick for work.
Transmission was completely blown and I would’ve had to pay double the amount I paid to buy the car just to fix the issue. I understand these cars are sold “as is” off the lot, but the sales person I worked with clearly led me on and acted illegally to ensure the purchase went through.
I’m not innocent here either as I went through with the purchase, but I don’t think any individual should clear a dashboard just to make a sale. I’m out thousands of dollars and quite frustrated with the way things were handled.
Unless you truly know everything about used vehicles, I would proceed here with extreme caution.

Transaction was smooth and hassle free. They worked with me and had the whole thing handled in 15 min. Very easy to do business with. Yes work may need to be done to many of the vehicles however, they let you know what needs to be done for inspection. I found everything to be fairly straightforward and in today’s market that’s just the way it is the days of 500 and thousand dollar good running cars is gone long gone.
Do not buy from this place, to each its own but here my experience, a few months ago I financed a Durango through landmark from this place, the very next day the radiator busted and locked the engine, I had the car towed by to the dealer after which they gave me the bad news and said they would reach out to the bank to see more options, they came back to me and stated the bank would allow me to choose a different car in the same price range after 2 weeks of test driving cars as they came I reached out to the bank and stated that there was nothing mechanically good enough to purchase, the bank reapplied that they had already voided the loan and i was no longer responsible for the Durango and the dealer was just having me shop of a new car . I returned to the dealer and requested my $500 deposit that I placed that on the website says this is refundable in which the dealer says is no longer refundable that I could only use it as a credit towards another vehicle. Now I’m not sure if small claims court would be even worth it but this place sells junk cars and the refundable deposit or hold IS NOT THE CASE . If anyone has a good small claims lawyer please let me know looks like this is going to be the only way to get my money back .
Funny story they called last month for their holiday even and when I mentioned that I was not on good terms with the dealership and explained to the sales rep the situation he says that’s not how we do business I’ll talk to a manager can I call you back here we are a month later no refunded deposit and no call back!
I have been looking for a vehicle for my teenage son. I decided to check out WPAA, I'm so glad I did Billy Kay was amazing. I WANT MY REFUND BACK!!!!!! I called earlier on the phone and the white lady kept hanging up the phone, & trying to rush me, cutting me off when I was asking questions about the car because I clearly wanted to ask questions about the car that I am purchasing. I asked why a certain name pop up when I called, she was like "oh u need to get that fixed" and a rude sarcastic way. & when I went up the place she was like "oh u didn't need to do all that" because I was asking questions about the cars earlier before I came. Then I made an auction for a 2007 Volkswagen EOS Sport with 197,849 miles on it. I made $325 down payment on it, because the mean black guy was like since I done made an auction for it I have to make a down-payment on it. They said it was $300 but it turned out being $325 on the down payment. Then I was asking him about the other cars because I wasn't sure I wanted that car, & he kept saying how I was asking too many questions, and do I speak " English is English my first language because you seem not to be understanding." & then he said I have 3 days to think about it after I already done made my $325 deposit but at the time I needed a car right then & there. So I paid for the car that I auctioned I didn't even get to check out throughly before hand just because I need a car, then after I already done made my purchase the Spanish looking guy told me that I can't cut the car off until I get home because they had to jump start it after the fact, and the car didn't past inspection so now that's extra unnecessary money & thousand I would have to get spend to get the car fixed. When earlier I asked then will it get me to destination a to b the spanish guy said yes ,and it did only just that, because now the car is definetly not coming on. The indian lady at the end was rude with the red dot in the middle of her head yelling saying this copy not for me, and trying to rush me while I'm tryna read through the papers on such a big investment. SERVICE, LIARS, POOR COMMUNICATION & A WASTE OF MONEY & TIME. SO GO HERE IF YOU LIKE POOR SERVICE LIKE THIS. WILL NOT RECOMMEND! NEVER AGAIN!!! Take a chance this is about a 9 Hour drive from where I live. I rode the train for 15 hours with delay's by the time I got there, it was closing time Not once did they rush out or to hurry with My inspection or test drive, talked to a sales manager Sully , Who made the whole situation really comfortable with this being my first time buying from auction! With it being closing time I was able to properly go over all the paperwork and expect what I needed before making a purchase. Really Easy process looking forward to see what I can find next ! They are good to get a car from. Just got make sure you scan the bar code and look good in the car outside the especially under the hood at the transmission the spark plugs, engine, also the stripes to get a good car with minor fixings. My son just brought a nice car from there. And it only needed 700.00 worth of work to be done to pass expection. The car running good. Best thing you pay off no car note. I will go there and buy another car from there. This is where I brought my first car. They good. They work with you.

We stood up there. My dad‘s phone was dead. He offered to charge it while we was looking around. He noticed I was looking at luxury cars for about five grand. He went out of his way to write me a list of cars. He would I would like. and doing so he gave me the list the first car on the list I took home before I took it home, he gave me a first car buying deal He dropped the price 500 bucks for meI’ve had it for a month now I haven’t had no issues. Truth in advertising would require them to change their name to the Woodbridge Lemon orchard. No idea who's cleaning up the reviews for them but this place is borderline criminal. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE
A friend of mine bought a GMC Acadia from them. Barely made it back home before he had to call me. I'm his mechanic and upon inspecting the vehicle not only was it loaded with problems, but it was outright dangerous to drive. Some of the things I found during inspection: Failed AC, leaking from the condenser Exhaust had been rigged together at the flex coupling Rear differential almost dry from leaking, failed seal Front differential/transmission leaking from the case Front differential damaged and not working properly causing dangerous torque steer condition and rumbling sound. ABS module failed Both steering tie rods worn with significant play. Car pulls hard right on braking due to misalignment of front end Car shows evidence of flood damage. Mud and rust behind the dashboard. Mud in wire looms and under the carpet in corners.
In total there is nearly $7000 in parts replacements and repair right off the lot.

Take your chances with this place. I did. Twice. The first time I purchased a car from here, it was an inexpensive, successful purchase. I kept the previous car for a good while. I returned on Saturday, October 4, 2025 to purchase another vehicle. My takeaways ...
1. I was the very first customer on the lot that morning. I had already browsed their website to locate the type of car I wanted. I purchased a manual shift car which they didn't have a large selection of because today's weaklings can't drive what they call, "The 3 Pedal Car." I'm a Gen Xer who grew up driving vehicles with the shifter on the steering column. Steering wheel pedal shifters is not classic manual driving. I call that "video game" driving and I know how to do both.
2. I thought there would be more of a negotiation but there wasn't. I asked the guy if we could negotiate the price down from $4,450 and all he did was take a couple hundred bucks off only to add it right back on with fees and stuff. Classic salesman markup. In addition to that, they wanted me to go on their website to put a $300 deposit on the car when I was already standing right there in front of them to purchase it outright. I feel like I was extorted for real. And they want an additional $415 fee for the title, registration, and tags. Highway robbery is what that is and when it all adds up, I paid more for that car than it was priced.
3. The car visibly looks like it is in great condition, is clean on the inside and outside, however, there will be work that needs to go into it. When I asked, "Why did this car fail inspection?" They glazed over the issues not getting into the details or showing me the information on the documents so that I could make an informed decision on whether or not I'd like to invest in that particular vehicle or choose something else. I personally don't like automatic vehicles. I'll drive a stick until they're no longer made.
4. Honestly, I shouldn't have paid the price that I paid for that car. The repair bill is extensive. The only reason I did is because I have a child that I have to shuttle to and from school, pick up groceries, take us all to appointments, and stuff which costs our family more money when we're having to take the metro bus and rail to do all of the errands. So it's the "MoM" car.
5. I'm grateful for the opportunity to have purchased another vehicle, however, the fact that this car already has 157,000+ miles on the odometer should have warranted a significant price decrease.
6. Having the salesman say, "We have to make money too," with a plethora of vehicles on the lot, a packed auction room of buyers, while other finance their vehicles, and them having a minimal amount of choices for manual shift drivers like myself kind of left me with limited options, and I'll reiterate that I felt extorted.
All in all, I honestly don't believe I'll be returning to this establishment to purchase another vehicle in the future. I'll be returning to the nearby Brentwood Auto Auction where I purchased my very first car for $485 bucks and she lasted me 10+ years before having to buy my second car from Woodbridge Auto Auction for four times the price and it didn't last as long as my first car. I'm a person who gives second chances, however, they've disappointed me big time.

Purchased the overpriced car, when selling it I lost a lot of money because no one wanted to take it even when I discounted 3000$ from the original price. The people there are super rude. After buying the car, I had to move to another state and asked them to send my title. I was waiting for two months because they made a mistake in the delivery address. After the first attempt of delivering, I called them and asked to check the address-they were starting to yelling at me that the address is correct. I received my papers only after third attempt when I finally went to the post office and they were refusing to give me my papers because the address was incorrect. I had to pay fines for the late vehicle registration because of them. Be careful and check every single symbol that they put into your papers!!
Went with my son to get his first car, chose a 2014 chevy cruze. price was good, son is happy with the car so far. there was some miscommunication about the emission inspection but we worked it out and got on the road. Polite and helpful staff. I'd recommend

Second Edit: after a month with out the second set of keys and being told I just couldn’t find them by a previous guy. They called and let me know they found them in another folder. I’ve replaced tires ball joints the electrical connections on my battery, the cruise control buttons, removed my running boards, and now I have to change the fuel pump. Minor fixes but still fixes. Understand these vehicles might have problems from sitting.
I brought a 2009 Ford edge, they said 2 sunroofs ended up they didn't open And that's what I really wanted... Be careful check everything even after they said it... Good Luck
I was on the search for a vehicle, when my God-brother recommended Woodbridge Auto Auction. I purchased a 2013 Volvo XC60 from there and LET ME TELL YA! The experience was PHENOMENAL! The guys there were AWESOME! Unfortunately, I do not remember their names, but they will probably remember the lady with her God-brother and the dog! :-) They were very patient and understanding with me. They answered my MILLIONS of questions. They let me try out so many vehicles and one of them even went with me to test drive one of the cars I was interested in because I had questions and uncertainties. They worked with me on the price of the vehicle and I have not had any issues with my car. It rides SO SMOOTH!!! I plan to keep this car until the wheels fall off. When the time comes to purchase another vehicle, I definitely see myself coming back to Woodbridge Auto Auction. I have been singing their praises ever since my experience there. I highly recommend.
Outstanding experience! Very respectful of my time and had the exact car I had been looking for. When I got there the car was washed clean and ready. They even worked with me on the price. The key is walk in knowing this is now a “used car dealership” you might have to put some work into the ride after you buy it. But at a dealership, this vehicle would have cost me about 10k more than what I eventually paid for it. Very happy with my purchase!
Amazing car buying experience.We purchased the car for our daughter and she couldn’t be happier.They allowed us to have our mechanic inspect it , we hooked a diagnostic machine up to it and test drove it .The car is clean ,has low miles ,and a clean vehicle history report which was provided by them (we also had our own ) .Great friendly customer service .Planning to buy our next commuter vehicle from them .

Update: this car that ran great only lasted a month. The whole engine needs to be replaced. This was a lemon. I spent more money on this car then it lasted. You fix it enough to get it off your lot. Thanks for stealing my money. I got a car from the action. It runs great. The action space is very small and super noisy. I think they need to not do all the honking of the horns so people can hear the action guy. The lovely lady that paid us out with the black hair was super knowledgeable and very helpful. Just remember when going here it's not a new car, so there maybe small things wrong. It's worth the go if you want to buy out right. Thanks for a great car and experience.
