I called them today to report a car on my assigned parking space. Spoke with a man who told me to go online and report the incident because they don't take reports over the phone anymore, with no other questions asked. After I filed the report online, I called Dominion again to inquire the waiting time, and I was told 30 to 60 min. After an hour, Dominion still didn't arrive, but the driver of the vehicle finally came with great attitude. I am not understanding why Dominion provides the community where I live with a phone number, so they can tell you to report online, and then to wait another hour to be contacted. Although the person who answered my call was nice, receiving customer service would have been even nicer. I find Dominion very unhelpful, and I will be working to replace their "service" to my community with a different towing company. I do not recommend Dominion Wrecker!

They towed my son's work vehicle without proper reason and showed zero professionalism. They didn't leave any notice behind. No warning, no explanation — just came and took it, then asking for cash wouldn't allow the company to use a creditcard. It feels like they sit around waiting to take advantage of people.

They tow your vehicle for no reason. And also when they towed my vehicle It messed up my alignment on my car. I went to put my dog in the house … i feel like he set me up and was stalking or watching me go inside just to tow my vehicle
Would give 0 stars if I could…. I understand that tow truck companies are not in the business of customer service… but my gosh! A sticker was recently placed on my car. Unfortunately after trying, I could not get the sticker off of my window where it was placed. I called Dominion at 6:32 on 8/22. Whoever it was was extremely rude and refused to help me get the sticker off, saying I should just go to 7/11 to buy some windex. I am a woman and not handy. I hoped for better service and I will be contacting the HOA.

Biased people working at a biased company. The amount of times they’ve told our vehicles alone, has made them hundreds of dollars. They only come to our apartment complex to tow our vehicles, and no one else’s for the supposed reason that they towed our vehicles in the first place despite numerous cars supposedly with similar issue(s). They have also wrongfully towed our cars and towed our vehicles with no warning which is required by the apartment complex where we live unless vehicle is illegally parked. When provided proof that they’ve wrongfully towed our vehicles not just once, but multiple occasions for the said reason(s) why it was towed in the first place, their response is “there’s nothing we can do about it now. The vehicle has already been towed and it’ll be $200 to get it out and that’s that”. If you see this garbage towing company as a part of where you live or are visiting, just keep an eye out for your vehicle(s) and honestly your vehicle is safer on the public street than in the apartment complex in Lake Ridge.
This company tows for my neighborhood. I just walked outside for the first time in 10 days, since my newborn’s last doctors appointment, to go to the grocery store to find my car was gone. We called Dominion Wreckers to figure out where the car was and why it was towed. We were told it “couldn’t be stored in a visitors spot”. It wasn’t being “stored”. That’s where I’ve parked every day since I moved in 5 years ago. And I had the visitors badge hanging from my rear view mirror, as is policy. But we were told that because it hadn’t moved in days, it was considered “stored”. I just had a baby. I had literal hospital discharge instructions not to drive for two weeks. I said all of this to say that, when we called to speak with someone regarding this issue, the woman who answered was extremely unhelpful and rude. This company might as well just save what they’re spending to provide her with a salary and use an answering machine for how much assistance she was willing to offer.
I WISH I could give this company negative stars. They are predatory and skirt every possible loophole imaginable. They have towed my car TWICE for Visitor in a Residential spot DESPITE the fact that it was 100% in clearly marked visitors spot
About 2 to 3 years ago Dominion towing had towed my dad's Ford explorer from Williamstown for having expired inspection by a week or two at most. So I definitely dislike this company like anybody normal person would lol.

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. They towed my car stating that I did not have a visitors pass when visitor passes are not even available to residents in the first place. The guy then altered the violation to cover himself after stating the initial violation. He was rude, inconsiderate, and nasty. He then proceeded to provoke and taunt my partner after expressing his frustration and trying to explain to him the misunderstanding. This company is a fraud and very unprofessional. His response to towing my car was simply “my folks need to make money.” It’s clear that this company is money hungry and will do anything at the expense of people’s livelihoods to make a buck.
This tow company is money hungry very disgusting people they've been targeting my family at our town house since we moved in my car and family members cars has gotten towed over 10 times for reasons they can't even explain and even with a parking pass they come up with reasons to tow my car just because they want the money and since they’ve towed us repeatedly they have been continuing to look for the smallest reasons to tow us definitely don't recommend doing any business with these straight up thieves ! I’m telling you now they have bad reviews for a reason !!!!! Save some money and find a better tow company !!!!!!
soooo thirsty for money!! 6 months ago before moving to woodbridge they towed my car while i was parked at TODOS for house hunting in the area (during open hours) which they claim was not true.. $275 down the drain. Yesterday my car was missing from Walmart and I knew EXACTLY who to call.. had the nerve talking about for expired tags mind your BUSINESS they just expired
Disgusting company that has come and taken our cars right before Christmas and now on my birthday. They come in the dead of night so you have no way to fight it. The economy is hard right now and now I have $180 less to feed my family. It’s going to be a hard month. If your job is to take people’s cars you need a better job. I am a title 1 elementary teacher and I had a really hard time getting to work today. Shame on this company. They also took my neighbor’s car who just had twin babies and are already struggling.
You can’t call in like the good days , now you have to go online fill out a form and be photographer submit photos at 1am to get a car towed from your space you pay monthly for . No one works anymore or provides help or great customer service but wants your money . Wish I could give 0 stars. Very rude too ; sure a very smart response will be given to this review lol .
I will say that my father and I first impression on them were not the best. But after speaking with one of the people named Melissa she was very professional, respectful, and understanding. And I appreciate their gratitude after the negative situations that have occurred. Thank you Melissa for making this a better experience.
Our Car was towed right from our own parking space with a visible parking space tag hanging AGAIN… twice they have stolen my car from in front of my home. Didn’t think to ring our doorbell, nothing. We have 2 parking spaces, they claim we were double parking because the wheel was only a little over the line, yet STILL in both of MY parking spaces. They have 2 struggling star reviews for a reason. Because they are “crooked thieves” robbing residents. We received NO WRITTEN NOTICE from HOA complaining or telling us that we were even doing something wrong, ITS A SUNDAY before Thanksgiving. The first time they took our car they scratched it up, today they are asking for $180.00 before they could even reach the tow lot. The driver sped up as soon as he heard us and our neighbors yelling for him to stop

The two spaces you see are and were MINE. And I really hope they would attach pictures of me parked just a little over into MY other space which my neighbors would NEVER call for that because all of us have 2 spaces assigned for us. My neighbors are cool, we hang out, babysit each other kids and go out together. Pretty much a close knit community. I wish I would have seen this response earlier. But it looks like our car wasn’t the only one y’all damaged. Y’all be careful they love riding around especially before major holidays to catch some extra $ and put people in the worst predicament because everything and everyone is usually closed for the holidays. Like I said they took MY CAR from my space in front of my house in the space visible in the photo BOTH TIMES. Once for being slightly over the line into MY other space with proof hanging in my car. These ppl are CROOKS like I said. And 2 years later they have even lower reviews … Using money they robbed and paying for positive reviews now to bury REAL people’s comments,Everyone can’t possibly be lying on them

Waking up and the car is NOT THERE was terrifying. This month has been hard for me and my family, our old car broke down completely, and I had to take my son to the cardiologist. So we had to buy another used car, because we don't have enough money. I admit I didn't have time to get a parking pass. First there's my son and his heart problem, taking him to DC is NOT EASY, not to mention the emotional stress. On top of that seeing my car towed during the night was even more stressful, I had to pay $200. You know you become a millionaire at the expense of others. I don't wish you bad, but I want you to know that many of us go through things you can't imagine, I AM a mother with Lupus, with a child with a heart condition, they have no compassion for anyone. They have a heart of stone, because they don't come during the day, and I show you how bad I am going through it. DON'T BE A COWARD TO COME EARLY IN THE MORNING, IT ONLY SPEAKS OF THE KIND OF HUMAN BEING YOU ARE.
They’re just bad people. Took my car from where I live even though my parking pass was inside. They are heartless and will not work with you at all. I just got paid $300 and had to give them almost all of it, even though my car was where I live with a pass inside. Now I don’t have enough money for my bills. I don’t know how they can live with themselves. :(
There is a reason their business is rated so low. Just look at the other reviews, they’re basically criminals. A word of advice, never associate with people that work for/own tow truck companies because stealing from innocent people and getting away with it is normalized for them. These folks know and have accepted that they’re bad people, just stay far away. I feel even worse for the workers that are being groomed into thieves. It really must be a heck of a thing to own a business where no one likes you. I don’t know why someone would want that… money I guess. It’s very sad what they’re out there doing to innocent people.
Most people post really bad reviews about towing companies. But my experience with Dominion was phenomenal. They were very sympathetic about my car getting towed (even though I REPEATEDLY told my apartment complex I needed a new parking sticker), and the front desk told me what time to be there in order to pick it up to avoid fees. When I got there, I noticed a large dent and paint scratching that wasn’t there before. The front desk informed me that an irate customer had backed into mine while picking up their own car. Management directed me to Vision Auto and Collision, and within days my car was fixed and looks better than when I bought it, all expenses paid. These guys are excellent, so please think twice before giving them a hard time. They’re just doing their job!
