These people stole my car from my own driveway in the middle of the night. They claimed my car was blocking the sidewalk and that my state inspection was expired. The sidewalk outside of my house is mostly covered in ice. So pedestrians still had to step off the sidewalk where my car was parked to avoid the ice. They charged me $240 to get my car back. I don't normally do reviews. But this one really takes the cake. I will definitely be calling to the Better Business Bureau and reporting this company.
Towed a family members car that was not illegally parked in their own neighborhood, cost him. $300 to get his car back . Dominion was unable tlist on the billing receipt/ company invoice as to why they were even towed . They are ripping people off !!!
This towing company does an amazing job servicing our property. They are always reliable and quick to respond whenever we need assistance. They even help with curb painting when needed, which is a huge plus. Dispatch is efficient, and Stacy is especially quick to respond and always helpful. We always have a great experience with Dominion for all of our Associations from start to finish. The staff are professional and reassuring, and the drivers are always prompt. Never thought I would leave a tow company a pleasant review but here I am. A friend had his car towed. When I went with him to pick up his car it would not start. He hooked it up to pull out and Andy saw us struggling. Andy was extremely friendly, professional and courteous when he approached us. He not only helped us but went the extra mile to tow the car to a repair shop in the same area. We offered to pay him something but he refused. Truly restored my faith in mankind to know there are still good people in the world. Can’t say enough good things about Dominion. The least I could do was commend Andy for what he did for my friend. I am a property manager. Luckily I do not need towing services often. However, when we do, Dominion Wrecker Service is always timely. I have found both the drivers and office staff to be professional and easy to work with.
We own a shopping center property in N. Virginia that was plagued with illegal overnight parking. Cars from an adjacent apartment complex would clog our lot constantly. We even had 18-wheeler trucks and trailers parking overnight in the rear. We went through a variety of towing vendors to try to solve the problem. Nobody could keep up with the demand. Nobody could handle the removal of larger vehicles. Dominion handles it all and completely solved all of our issues immediately. We've been using them for years and the problem is completely resolved. Excellent service, communication with instant results.
I love Dominion as an HOA worker, I have used them at 2 companies now, at AMV and Belmont and they have always been so quick and courteous when they are needed !! Definitely recommend them to ANY HOA in need of a tow contract !!

Dominion Wrecker assist us in monitoring our communities parking lot for commercial vehicles, expires saftety inspections, vehicle registrations and cars that are illegally parked. The drivers take pictures of all of the cars that are towed so we have a reference as to why the car was towed. I would highly recommed this towing company for any business that needs towing patrol services for their business.

They take advantage of the disabled. My handicap pass fell and they still charged me 200 to get my car back. I understand the law regarding it must be visable but for them to cone through the neighborhood daily and see my car parked in the same spot for 7 months, and the one day the pass happens to fall on the floor of the car. Especially with nothing else on the floor it was there, clear as day when I opened my door.
Dominion Wrecker Service, LLC in Leesylvania, Virginia is by far one of the biggest scammers I’ve ever dealt with. I was visiting family and parked my vehicle in the designated visitor parking area with a valid visitor pass clearly displayed, yet they still towed my car. When I went to retrieve it and showed them the hanging pass, they refused to acknowledge their mistake and made me pay to get my vehicle back. This company operates unfairly, taking advantage of people and showing zero professionalism or integrity. They are robbing honest people and should be held accountable for their unethical practices.
I called them today to report a car on my assigned parking space. Spoke with a man who told me to go online and report the incident because they don't take reports over the phone anymore, with no other questions asked. After I filed the report online, I called Dominion again to inquire the waiting time, and I was told 30 to 60 min. After an hour, Dominion still didn't arrive, but the driver of the vehicle finally came with great attitude. I am not understanding why Dominion provides the community where I live with a phone number, so they can tell you to report online, and then to wait another hour to be contacted. Although the person who answered my call was nice, receiving customer service would have been even nicer. I find Dominion very unhelpful, and I will be working to replace their "service" to my community with a different towing company. I do not recommend Dominion Wrecker!
If I could give this company zero stars, I would. They towed my car stating that I did not have a visitors pass when visitor passes are not even available to residents in the first place. The guy then altered the violation to cover himself after stating the initial violation. He was rude, inconsiderate, and nasty. He then proceeded to provoke and taunt my partner after expressing his frustration and trying to explain to him the misunderstanding. This company is a fraud and very unprofessional. His response to towing my car was simply “my folks need to make money.” It’s clear that this company is money hungry and will do anything at the expense of people’s livelihoods to make a buck.
Most people post really bad reviews about towing companies. But my experience with Dominion was phenomenal. They were very sympathetic about my car getting towed (even though I REPEATEDLY told my apartment complex I needed a new parking sticker), and the front desk told me what time to be there in order to pick it up to avoid fees. When I got there, I noticed a large dent and paint scratching that wasn’t there before. The front desk informed me that an irate customer had backed into mine while picking up their own car. Management directed me to Vision Auto and Collision, and within days my car was fixed and looks better than when I bought it, all expenses paid. These guys are excellent, so please think twice before giving them a hard time. They’re just doing their job!
