this is the second time I've had to call tubs to get a new rim for my truck too much bumper car action I guess I always call ahead to check availability when they have it I tell them I'm coming they go ahead and pull apart and it's quick and easy. They got a good location and comparison to having to drive all the way to downtown Suffolk or beyond. They have a gigantic lot with tons of cars and tons of parts give them a call and they will wrap it right up
Long story short: I found the VW BHW diesel that I wanted on Car-Part.com and these folks were one of the locations that had one. I normally look up the places I'm going to purchase from to see what sort of reviews they have. Tubbs had the best reviews within 500 miles of where I'm at. I called an spoke with them, then confirmed it was there, and I left and headed up. I did notify them that I would be around 4 hours, and they said they'd have it ready. I was shown the motor, paid for it (for those who may not be aware they have a cash price and credit price, not a big deal for me, but be aware), they loaded up and I headed back home. Now that I'm home, the engine is in perfect condition. I'm really impressed with how nice it was. Whoever owned it before took great care of the car.
The reviews that you see here are 100% correct. Tubbs had some of the nicest folks I've dealt with at salvage yards and they completely deserve their 5 stars (close enough). If I need anything in the future, and I'm willing to make that drive again, I'll have no issues doing business with them again.

Went in to get a part for my pilot. The lady in the office answering phones had comments to make about people's accents. If I knew another place had the part I needed I would of gone somewhere else. You don't talk shit about customers with other customers in ear shot. Very unprofessional.
Great inventory,with multiple of the same vehicles to ensure that parts are available. Great staff helps you find any matching parts and suggest easy tips for novice D.I.Y auto mechanics.
Chuck is a godsend, I had to make two trips out in the same day for two different parts, he gave more than fair pricing and even made accommodations for me to pickup after hours when I got stuck in traffic coming from the other side of the water. I was sent to Tubbs on recommendation and rarely do I leave reviews, but these gentlemen gave 5 star service so I felt it proper to state so. Thank you
Friendly courteous. Also let's not forget their history. I didnt like how I couldn't go on the yard anymore. But they found what I needed for cheap and did some searching. Also let me be honest I won't name where I was at. But I was out there pulling parts myself and I had my father Vietnam vet with me. It was hot. It wasn't pleasant and I don't recommend older folks going out there pulling parts when it's hot.. if I can get the same or better price and they go get it. Great. Just miss the shopping a lil
I advise anyone looking for used auto parts, look elsewhere. Customer care is not their concern, taking your money is priority number one. Brought a used transmission with a thirty day warranty, had an issue with the transmission one day after having it installed. Not going into all the details, but they did absolutely nothing to honor the warranty. As i said early, look elsewhere.
Stopped to make a phone call as we are not supposed to be on phone while driving and an employee in a white Lincoln station wagon nearly had a aneurysm because I was safely parked out of the way..... I used to recommend tubs for used parts but will now go out of my way to tell everyone what a douche bag the guy that works there is!

These guys are awesome! Came in for a center console from a Pontiac G8 and they took care of me. Had to wait a bit as they were very busy but I was in and out with what I needed at a very reasonable price. I ended up coming back on two separate occasions to pick up a forgotten/missing part from the console assembly and they were very supportive, and had me in and out with the missing parts at no extra charge. These are great and knowledgeable people, would highly recommend for your used auto parts!

I needed a crankshaft pulley for a Dodge Dakota that was no longer manufactured. I came all the way from Williamsburg and got there almost neer closing time. They where kind enough to still go out and pull the part for me. Good price too. Grate job guys!!
My sunroof shattered so I had to replace it. I called several Junkyards in the area and they had it but they wanted 250.00 for them. Called Tubbs and they sold it to me for 150.00. Very fast service. Good people to deal with. Thanks
This a great establishment to conduct business with. We have gotten dozens of deliveries over the last past few years and all have been one hundred percent spot on. Great people to talk to, excellent inventory, and reasonable and fast shipping. They go out of their way to assist as well. Meredith does a fantastic job, with great communication.
They were absolutely great. Called and inquired into a window for my car, told them I'd be there soon. I arrived thinking I needed to take the part off myself. I didn't. They took it off for me already and gave me a good price for it too. I'll go back again

Tubb's is a small locally owner vehicle yard; I was recommended this place to find some parts of Ford ambulance by the dealership citing that their time to get the part would be over a week. Tubb's pulled the part in great condition in about 20 minutes and sold it to me for less than 1/5 of the dealership cost.

Brian and his team impressed me so much by being anxious at 7:20 a.m. on a Saturday morning to check and make sure that the moulding strip was "the exact" on the black car door as what was on my car. It was definitely a match. I was dancing because I knew I had received "favor!" And that door is now part of my family!
My wife and I bought a Lincoln town car from tubbs about a year ago, they fixed the few things we were concerned about and gave us a great price on the car, now a year later were looking at a Chevy suburban and are excited about the deal, imagine having more trust in a scrap metal/ used parts dealer than any car dealership! Great experience with Tubbs. Emailed and called them about a part before making the long drive to their location. I neither asked for them to hold the part for me nor gave them any credit card information, yet the part was off the car and ready to be picked up when I arrived. I'd say that's pretty fantastic customer service!
When I came into tubbs I was respectful. No one volunteered to help me, when I asked for assistance the woman ignored me. It's like they pretended I was invisible. To move forward, a man offered to help me eventually and priced a single hug cap at 50.00. When I said I'd do a price check to look around he dropped it to 35.00. Bad Quality service. Expensive Prices. And when an Asian man walked into the store they showed him the upmost respect and jumped to his needs. Unfair Treatment. I am simply giving the review of the service shown to me.

I have been dealing with Tubbs for quite some time. I usually deal with Brian on the parts counter when I go in and don't have any problems as described in some of the previous complaints. He has always been polite and helpful and if they don't have what I need he either orders it in or points me in the right direction to get it.
