It's only 1 star because you can't rate lower than this. This is the most mismanaged Copart location in the northeast. Drivers are required to wait 3-4 hours to pick up vehicles from that place. Appointments are not honored there. Forklift operators are the slowest and definitely enjoy their overtime because this location stay open way over 5pm. No facilities for drivers , no management to adress the issues. If you are a dispatcher make sure you leave 3-4 hours for the pick up there. If You are a trucker, make sure you got food and water because you can't leave while wailting. If you have other appointments for sure You will miss them. Same crew for last year same excuses , 1 good and fast guy who was working there for 2 months already left ,so everything back to normal. Unbelievable that nobody even try to adress this situation at that branch.

I came to pick up a car from this copart. I've been waiting for more than 4 hours for it to load. they work very slowly. All staff need to be fired and new ones hired. Don't forget to take food and water so you don't die waiting for loading. here you can open a cafe and make money from drivers waiting for loading. changing business area

This place truly sucks a**. Angel in the office was great however the so called "office manager" Wanda has no skills when it comes to customer service or listening. She seems to have an authority complex and cares more about her meaningless title that actually solving issues or making any progress. Communication and personal skills definitely need to be developed within the management team. Very bad experience.

Not even 1 star. Horrible, horrible ,horrible!!!The worst location from all the Coparts! The office along with the supervisor don't care about drivers, don't respect people ,cancel appointments when they want making drivers waiting for another day. If you, office, would be treated this way, would you like it? Be polite and respectful to drivers who work so hard! I am addressing this issue to the state's attention as well!

We tried to "sell" our car on Cash for Cars and had the unfortunate experience of having to deal with Coparts. They jerked us around for the entire week picking up the car. This is with me calling every day to confirm that it was still happening. We took off work all week to deal with this pickup. They need to reign in their customer service staff. Incredibly rude and no one is on the same page. By the look of this 2.5 review average, I'm guessing I'm not alone.

They picked up the phone prior to 5pm and discussed my vehicle with me for a few minutes. After 5:02pm I was told “we would have to call back Monday to continue the conversation” 😡😡😡 FOUR people discussing this issue to get some resolution and in the MIDDLE of the conversation it gets cut off due to their closing hours. My tags were missing. I went to Copart on April 12th to get my tags. They looked and looked, and couldn’t find them. They then said oh they were not on the truck when they took ownership. Then they gave me a letter of destruction for my tags. I was going back and fourth with another yard to find my tags. I had to report them missing/stolen. I call Copart on April 18, and then they tell me oh we mailed them on the 16th to you. Like what? Are you for real? The lack of professionalism and customer service is by far one of the worst experiences I’ve seen. How they have a 2.5 rating baffles me. It should be a 1. Based on my experience and others I would stay away if you can, and if you have no choice then at least you’ve been warned.

By far the worst copart in Virginia. Unless you have endless time on your hands and can waste a whole day here don't come here. This yard moves at the speed of smell no matter how many vehicles you're getting. Helen Keller could do a better job running this yard then whoever is in charge now. 10/10 don't recommend anything to do with this yard.

Won’t release my car to me because they let the driver who hit me insurance put a hold on my car. Neither insurance are fixing my car i told them i want my car back i can fix the damages myself they keep telling me his insurance needs to do a retain order and we are getting nowhere with it i have 7 days before they try to “fake” tell me they auctioned my car. Pretty sure they can’t do that without a title and the car still being paid on i haven’t signed anything for these people to have my damn car.

Not many of them are that good. They office staff has no motivation and poor customer service. You just never know what youll get. I ve visited quite a few of these and every 1 out of 20 times is a good experience. I AA is much better. If you have a choice dont spend a day wasting time at a copart. They even have an appointment system that they use and still are late on moving the stock. This one even further inconveniences you by blocking the entrance/exit with a vehicle so you have to wait for a tow motor to move it , even once youre loaded you must still wait. I m sure that is some sort of violation, surely a moral one!

Very disappointed with how they treated my personal items. Almost everything was put in the bed of my truck exposed to the weather. Also was used as a trash bin for miscellaneous junk. Not sure why my floor mats had be taken out. They claim to protect my privacy.

This location needs to be shut down asap!! All the ladies in the center area were rude, would look at you & not say anything, and when they did it was mad disrespectful. My insurance had my car taken there, I waited over an hour to get my vehicle, got inside & to my surprise NOTHING but 2 gravity chairs were in my van, my back seats were also pushed back up. I didn’t see anything in my car, when I brought up the issue I was told that it’s “part of their policy. Once the vehicle arrives, they don’t know how long it sat, or how long it will be there, ect.” I asked if that made it okay to go through someone’s personal belongings when I still own the vehicle. Luckily nothing was stolen, but all my stuff was thrown in the back and you can tell they didn’t care if anything broke. There were a few items in my car that didn’t belong to me, which is weird. When I went back inside, two of the ladies on the left side at their desks made a comment while looking at me and laughed. One of those ladies was who I talked to prior. This is the worst place I have gone to, I will do everything my power to not have to return to this establishment.

I do not recommend AT ALL! This establishment was responsible for collecting my car through my insurance company. After my car was totaled, it had to be taken to a junk yard. An employee called me during the week and asked if I was ready to have my car picked up. I told them I was ready for it to be picked up, I just needed to clean it out. I was told that there would be no one available to collect it until the weekend. I was not aware that the establishment was not even open on the weekends. I agreed with this, since I still needed to clean my belongings out. I was told someone would call an hour in advance to let me know they were on the way before they arrived. Copart took it upon themselves to dispatch someone to collect my car the next day (not the weekend). I never received a phone call. When I called them, they tried to convince me that I agreed to the date. I was told that I could come collect my materials. When I got there to get my things, I was told that everything would be in the trunk. I was never asked for my ID to identify who I was, so I really could have been anyone. I went to my car and EVERYTHING was gone. I had chargers, a couple of bags of clothes that needed to be donated to Goodwill, sports chairs, and a few other things. There was not a stitch of anything left! When I say wiped out, I mean wiped out!!! When I asked about my belongings, nobody knew anything about it. I was told to call my insurance company, but why would they know anything? All they do is dispatch, they have nothing to do with the vehicle. The lady who "helped" me did not want to take any accountability for what happened with the items, but there is only one way to explain how things on your property go missing. If you can avoid this company, please do!

Was told that they would pick up my vehicle within 48 hours and call with a 1 hour window to meet them with the title and keys. Waited 4 days, and after 3 calls they finally picked up the vehicle, but "forgot" to tell me. I received a call at the end of the day stating they "accidentally" picked up my vehicle without calling to collect the title, keys, and exchange the check. They said I could mail the title to them, and then they would then issue the check and mail it to me, or I could drive all the way across town to deliver the items and pick up the check. Going through the reviews it seems this is a common occurrence for them...explains why the front desk didn't seem like it was a big deal.

Extremely long wait times, and they make up rules as they go. Since when does copart not side load? It amazes me that the people who work here can still have jobs with how rude they are. They talk down to you and are very antagonistic. In the office, this problem needs to be addressed.
