I highly recommend Lee’s upholstery shop! (Headliner repair) The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive from the moment I walked in. The entire establishment was clean, welcoming, and comfortable, with seating available while I waited. The workmanship on my headliner was truly above expectations—the final result looks fantastic. The pricing was also very fair for the high level of craftsmanship. I will definitely be recommending this place to others. Will be bringing my other car to get the seats repairs.

Had Lees repair my civic driver’s seat bottom foam collapsing by side bolster they fixed it like new, always a pleasure doing business here price is affordable

Came in with a small job and they were able to take care of it quickly! They were honest, dependable, and friendly. For any future work, I will have no problem driving to their shop in Newport News from VA Beach.

Lee's Auto Upholstery did a great job replacing damaged parts of my front seats, matching the leather. The price was fair and the work was done on time. I only wish I'd done this earlier.

Bay Custom recommended this place for auto upholstery supplies. Guy who answered was very rude saying he doesn't sell his glue, and that I couldn't buy the glue because I don't have a business license. I tried to explain that I wasn't sure if bay custom understood what I needed. I feel like he was misrepresenting and lying to try to make a sale. I was able to order the glue through another shop no problems.

This place is hands down fantastic. The ownership and employees are super nice and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I shopped around to get my 99’ Eclipse seats done and this place beat every other spot on price. Even if they were more expensive, I would recommend going to them based off of quality and customer service alone. 5 Star Service!

Went over and beyond on Customer Service and Repair. Had my driver's seat repaired on my 2013 F-150 and they did a GREAT job. Was finished way quicker than I expected. Have been recommending them for over 30 years and will continue to. Love using LOCAL shops for all my needs. HIGHLY RECCOMMEND !!!

Dropped car to get top replaced they say the frame broke I told them you guys broke it by not securing the top when I first picked up because lift cylinders were leaking. He tells me as the customer I was suppose to make sure the top was secure, wow. Now they cut my top off and since they don't wanna fix there mess up my car is sitting on street with no top.

The second generation owner was in the business when I arrived. He discussed my needs , and obviously knew exactly how to go about doing the 2 different upholstery jobs that I was asking for. Real nice guy....pleasant to converse with. Don't see any reason that I'd go anywhere else for this kind of work. Lee's has been in business for over a half century ... highly recommended!

My truck needed work on the front seats, armrest, and headliner. I met with Stephen who said let's look at the truck & discuss what needs to be done. We went to the truck, agreed headliner, driver seat leather, & armrest material needed to be replaced. We talked about passenger seat which was in good shape but bottom seat portion was showing some slight separation on a few panels. Stephen indicated he could replace those panels. I expressed concern about the color matching & Stephen's response was "I have a good eye" & it shouldn't be an issue. I was excited about getting the work done & was quoted $1025. I asked if he was willing to provide any discount and he indicated no because his type of work is a specialty. I said okay and authorized for the work to be done. One thing to note was that when my wife and I left, we asked each other if we sensed a bit of rudeness & arrogance. We both did but we chalked it up to maybe him just having a bad day. I dropped off the truck on Thursday & was able to pickup late Friday. We went to the truck to review the work & the color matching on the panels was horrible....so was his attitude. I made mention of it & he said that it was an exact color match. It looked so bad that I ended up asking him what it would take to NOW do the entire passenger seat (seat portion and now also the portion your back rests against). He said it is a full charge again because he has to take the seat out again. I stated that he indicated to me that he had a "good eye" as it related to the color matching and it was obvious that it wasn't a good match. I told him he could have easily texted me a picture while the seat was out and I would have authorized doing the whole seat....which he didn't. I was not happy with the result and felt "trapped" because of having to allow him to finish the work because of the leather hyde that he already used for matching the remainder of the work. On Tuesday, looked at the seats (now with the leather fully replaced) and it appeared pretty good. I did express some concern where the leather gathered on the outside edge of the passenger seat (wasn't the case on the driver's side). My concern was where it gathered, getting into the truck (and sliding your butt across), it would catch on that gathering and pull out over time. I pointed this out to Stephen and he had a bit of a meltdown, threw up his hands, walked away and said "I'm not giving you a discount" in reference to my first visit. I indicated that I felt he had some culpability regarding the situation because he could have texted me on the color not matching (of which he agreed was a good point). He stated it was an exact color match & brought out the remaining leather hyde, took it to the truck, and put it against the back seat of the truck (it is a supercab). He stated, see it is an exact match. My reply was "why are you matching it to the back seat when it was the front seat panels we were trying to match" and the fact that he stated he had a "good eye" in reference to matching the color. His response he was selecting leather (the back seat) that wasn't worn. It then became obvious WHY the color mismatch was so bad. He stood firm on not providing a discount, touted that I don't go to Burger King asking for a discount & continued to exhibit rudeness and attitude that we experienced on our first visit. Final bill was $1830 w/no apologies. IMHO, he manipulated the situation, got more work out of it and took no responsibility but was glad to accept payment. The work is good (not great) but felt it is analogous to a restaurant where the food is decent but the service is horrible...u don't go back. $1025 vs $1830...not excited anymore. *** adding due to owner's response *** -Age of truck matters but u stated u had a "good eye" to match front seat & then charged for matching color to back seat. U stated u were rude to us because I asked for a discount?! Really??? Wish u would have told us the reason for rudeness & we would have taken business elsewhere. I won't be back for a next project!

The headliner in my car was starting to droop. I live in Norfolk, so I called around to places on the Southside for quotes. Two separate places were going to charge me more than $500 and didn't have availability for weeks. The VW dealership quoted me $1,700!!!! I called Lee's Upholstery and Steve charged me half of what was quoted in Norfolk. He was able to fix my car on the next available business day and it only took one day. He said he was happy for the work, and I am happy to support this local business thanks to the quality and honest work they do. I would recommend this business to anyone.

I’ve had work done on my Audi’s and all I can say is that Mr. Steve and his team of professionals do an amazing job when it cones to customer service. Additionally, they always provide matchless quality for a great price. I recommend them 100%.

Second time there. First was for my 2007 Toyota Camry. Wear points in the driver seat and sagging headliner. Both repaired beautifully at what felt like reasonable price. This time it's my 2005 Ford f250 Lariat. High confidence I'm going to love it.

Lee’s Upholstery is the place to go! I had some cushions from my boat that I needed fully rebuilt and reupholstered and they did a great job on them and built to what I wanted! I will be referring all my friends to Lees for any and all upholstery needs! And I forgot to mention that he had them finished in 3 days! When other upholstery shops charged more and have monthly waiting times and he was spot on with the pricing! I was greeted kindly and professional as soon as I walked through the door!

Fast service and reasonable priced. Very helpful and friendly staff. I had two deck covers done for a Ski Nautique. Fit was perfect and stitches tight and even. Looks totally original.

Not sure how their work is, but I brought my car in for a estimate and I was told it would be cheaper to order everything myself and put slip on covers for the seats, install it, and bring it back in to see if I did it right. I wasn't asking what the cheapest method was since I'm restoring a classic. What's the point of bringing it to an upholstery place if I have to order and do the work myself? Saw a similar review of the same matter. Originally talked to an older sounding guy on the phone who told me something different. I don't think it was the owner I saw at the store later, seeing how it was a younger guy, but unfortunately he's the one I talked to at the shop.

Had an estimate on Friday and brought my truck in on Monday to have the seat redone. I was told 1-2 days to complete. Steve called me Monday afternoon and said it was ready. Price was exactly what was expected and the job was done expertly.

I took my Honda Pilot to Lee’s and told Steve that I needed a new headliner, a remodel of the center console armrest, and a cut side of seat repaired. I got there at 8 and Steve took me right in. He was finished by 11am. What a beautiful job! I can’t speak highly enough about his professional job. His remodel of the armrest looks better than it looked new and has some padding, which the original armrest did not have!! All of Steve and his crew’s work was superb! My wife is very happy and impressed by their work! Go to Lee’s for any auto upholstery needs!! His price was outstanding!!

Highly recommend! After giving me a phone quote, they replaced the headliner in my van. They did an excellent job and did it for the low end of the quote! I was also very impressed with the Manager I dealt with: He was professional and very personable!

Outstanding work! I hired Lee's upholstery to fix a tear in the corner of the leather seat of my 2013 Chevy Avalanche. I dropped the truck of at 8am, and it was ready before lunch! And, best yet - you couldn't tell it had been repaired. Excellent job, highly recommended.

Steve and his crew did an amazing job installing a new headliner in my son's Honda Accord. He especially liked how they upgraded the look of his center console from fabric to vinyl - it really turned out nice. My son was absolutely thrilled with how much better his car looked and he is particular. Lee's gave us a very reasonable price for a beautiful result and did the work in about a day. Got a quote over the phone to reupholster my car's headliner. Brought it in a couple days later and opted to wait for it there. Manager saw I had two kids with me so he got it done in 30 min. Paid lower than quote and the workmanship is excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing customer service, and phenomenal outcome at a very reasonable price! I came to Lee's with highly damaged car seats, and they were able to completely repair them, and now they look brand new. I will definitely be going back to them for any upholstery work I need in the future!

Just stopped into Lee's first thing this morning to get a motorcycle seat cover tacked on real quick. 15 minutes later it was done and it looked awesome! The service was top notch and so was the price. I'd definitely recommend Lee's to anyone looking for any upholstery work!
