Highly recommend David's towing and Tire. I had an appt to get all new tires ($1500) for my RV but the tire tech said I didn't need new tires and did not feel comfortable taking my money when I don't need them. This is a rare thing to find in a business today, but what it does for them is builds trust and I will be giving them all my RV business from now on and tell all my RV friends about them. I was involved in a car accident this tow truck pulled up out of nowhere towed my car I didn't even know where it was going but i was so distracted by the police, exchanging stories and information within 2 days i got a letter in the mail by the dmv saying that my car has been sitting in there lot for a while and if I don't move it there going to take it. Like are you for real I'm dealing with all the insurance, lawyer, and police report it's not like i can drive it. Lesson learned as for everyone reading this you have the right to get your car towed to your house!!
I’ve taken 3 vehicles here for repairs and inspections. The staff was friendly and thoroughly described any issues that were going on with my vehicles. Before I had repairs done, the staff showed me on my Honda Odyssey how my LCA bushings were damaged and repairs that were needed to my brakes and rotors. They also found a rodent that had tried to make a home in the vehicle as well. I purchased tires for my truck here and will come back for all my vehicle needs in the future. Unfortunately, when people decide to park illegally and are bad citizens, they get frustrated and leave negative reviews; I ignore that stupidity. It’s great to have a local shop that is honest with competitive prices. The owner and staff are a delight to speak with.
David’s Towing & Tire, has an exceptional service team. A member of my immediate family required travel for medical treatments, however, our car needed tires. While new tires were being installed their experience technician identified a brake system safety issue. Although it was late afternoon, without hesitation they stepped up and had parts delivered from a local Advanced Auto to make the necessary repairs. They cared and it really mattered.

paying 200 dollars to get my car. IM PAYING YOUR BUSINESS MONEY. I guess customer service goes out the window when they know you have to get your car from them. If you can tow on a Sunday, then you’re working on Sunday. If you can’t be professional then don’t work; let someone else handle phone calls.
They took care of my totaled car. They towed it not far from the accident. The staff was kind and courteous. I came to them the next day and they let me get my stuff from my car.
Hello I went in for inspection and had tires done Great staff friendly A1 Service and Mr.Randy came out and spoke with me step by step about what needed to be done and I'm always Satisfied and Love the Service !!
Technician came into the office where my wife and I were waiting to ask if I wanted him to replace a bad brake light bulb on my RV. I asked him how much, and he said about $1.50 for the bulb. I asked about labor, and he said “about $5”. He said “you can change it, but it’s raining out there!” I gave the ok to proceed. When I get the bill, the bulb is $2.50 and the labor to unscrew 2 phillips head screws is $15!!! I’m glad it’s done, but I wish they’d been honest and non evasive about their labor rate.

Went in for an RV inspection, after waiting for other RV inspection station lines to dwindle ( They were first come first serve and within an hour they were at their daily limit) I called David's, and they scheduled an appointment for the next morning for the inspection. I showed up a half hour early and they got me in quickly. Unfortunately they did not have the tires in stock but they ordered them and was supposed to be there later that afternoon. The delivery was late but they had me out the door before they closed. Wonderful crew, I would recommend them to everyone. Great job and thanks for the wonderful experience!
I hardly ever give anyone five stars, but I've dealt with Davids twice now and both times I walked away feeling like I'd gotten a professional job at a fair price. The best part is working with the young ladies at the front desk, they are always friendly, polite and make me feel like they are glad to see me. Thank you to the entire staff at David's it's refreshing to work with a company that makes me feel like they appreciate my business.
David's Towing did a boat and trailer recovery for me caused by an accident. The boat was still sitting on a destroyed trailer in the middle of the road when they showed up, they where very fast, careful, and got it off the road in no time. I went to pick the boat up on another trailer yesterday and received the same quality job and carefulness as the first time. Everyone here is very professional and easy to work with, I highly recommend them and will certainly use them again!
my husband has been waiting on them for SEVEN HOURS. after being told it would take 2 hours. this is the most ridiculous company we have ever had to deal with. i suggest calling Big L Tire for big rigs because David’s is unorganized, unempathetic and all around a terrible business. don’t waste your time, money or worries with this company, you’d get faster service calling someone out of a completely different state.
I took my 34 foot Motorhome here to get an State Inspection on it. Everything was fine except they said the windshield wiper blades needed to be replaced, which I agreed to. I was amazed when I got the bill for $124.89 for two blades plus $8.00 for installation. I told the lady that wrote the order up that I could have ordered them off of the Internet for less than half of what they charged. She said, "yes, but we had them in stock."
The next day I went on a trip near Waynesboro, Va., and on the way up, bugs had hit the windshield. I went to wash them off with the wipers and as soon as I turned the wipers on, the "J Hook" flew off of it and the wiper turned 90 degrees to the windshield. Thank God that I didn't get caught in a rainstorm with wiper blades that didn't work. This could have very easily lead to a wreck on even a fatality. I called David's Towing when I arrived at my destination and they told me to go purchase a blade and they would reimburse me. I could not find a replacement anywhere near Waynesboro.
Upon returning back home, I took the Motorhome back to them and they said they did not have another blade and would have to order them and to call them the next day as they would have them. I did call and the lady said the blades had just come in. She had her doubts on whether these were the right blades however. I took the Motorhome back over there and they informed me that they had installed the wrong wiper blades for my unit.
I asked about financial compensation for my troubles as this was the third trip back there. They wrote me a check in the amount of $25.44, saying these blades were cheaper, and told me, "sorry about that," referring to their mistakes.
By the way, the cost of these blades on Amazon are $40.89 a PAIR, a lot less then the $92.48 I was charged. Rest assured that I will NEVER return to this place of business ever. You got me once, but you will not have the opportunity to do it again.
I never write reviews on here but I was really upset after getting a state inspection here. David’s was recommended to me as a fair & honest place to get work done. That is clearly a lie! I drop my car off to get inspected. Asked if it would be quick & if I could wait because no one was there right when they opened. I was told there were a few cars ahead of me so no big deal, I left it there. They called me saying it failed within 20 min of me leaving & before I even made it home. They said it failed for back brake pads & rotors and quoted me right under $500 to fix. Complete BS! I called my dad & told them to fail me. My dad got my car and said he understood the brake pads & replaced them but NOTHING was wrong with my rotors. Even on the inspection paperwork they only notated the brake pads. My dad took it back with new brake pads and the same rotors & it passed with no problems! My parents are friends with one inspector here who is a good guy but he was not the one to inspect my car. It was a younger guy. Never ever again! We’re in the middle of pandemic with people struggling and they really TRIED to get over on me. Well y’all had the right one! You got your little $21 for both inspections and never again will I spend money there. I know I need tires soon & I was going to get a quote through here but nope...I’ll go anywhere but to a place who tries to get over on people. Yes I’m a woman but I’m not stupid when it comes to cars. My dad taught me well. Beware of this place!
I wanted to express my appreciation for a great job replacing my tires on my motorhome on I-64 today. Your guys were prompt and extremely courteous and certainly knew what they were doing. I’ll be making an appointment soon to have you replace the other tires and will have you do all of my repairs in the future. Thanks again!
