Elon metals is the very worst possible place to take scrap metal don't ever go there if you want your money's worth I have taken metal their before and should have gotten a heck of a lot more for the amount of metal that was taken and don't even think about taking metal that isn't clean even if you do you still will not get anything close to what it's worth I stand by my word their are better places to take it to and worth your time to find out which one is the best
Dropped off a stove, about 25lbs of cast iron and a 30 x 48 sheet of stainless steel. Checked with magnet. Solid. He said he doesn't pay for metal. Bahaha. Said "it was garbage. Worth ten cents". He offered $5 but returned it as it was counterfeit. Easier than taking to dump so win win but not what I would call legit.
Dropped about 1100lbs of clean solid iron and got paid $81.00. I would say their prices are low and you are better off spending the gas to get to another yard.

I have been calling many scrap places for best price on my copper.and most of them know how to identify the copper types, but when I called here, whoever answer did not give me the best price and did not know the other copper type.
Do not go here, the workers there are very rude. I asked one Asian guy a question and he was asking for the money back and said “you asking too many questions, give me money back”. Don’t go here you’ll get ripped off and get treated poorly.
Def a crook. Avoid this "Scrap Yard". Place is a joke. If you do go to this place know exactly what you have and the weight of your separated material. Know the current value of each type as well. Or you'll get robbed...
Dropped off 150 pounds of steel retail shelves and was paid for sheet metal. Be careful, they will rip you off and put a different metal on the receipt.
