I was struggling to find someone to do my annual state inspection without me having to take time off of work. I knew someone who was open later or open on weekends HAD to exist somewhere! I was recommended Fieldstone Auto who is just a 15 minute drive from the town of Madison. Gave him a call and we were scheduled the next day! Driving up to his shop was sketchy (driveway is gravel, and washed out a bit from the storms) but my car made it up there and back. I was there less than 30 mins. He's very kind and knowledgeable. I'm so grateful for him helping me outside his regular hours when no one else could/would. He also offers pick up/drop off services, and is a mobile mechanic. If you're looking for someone to do your state inspection in Madison and don't want to go to the dealership, this is the place to call!
