I purchased a very specific type of battery for my portable generator about a month ago. I then specificity asked the gentleman I was buying it from about their return policy in case it didn't work for my needs. He told me "we're easy, just bring in your receipt." I live 3 hours away from the store. The battery would not even fit in my generator due to improper dimensions. I returned to the store today to return the battery to now learn there was apparently only a 2 week window in which to return the product. As I had absolutely no need for an improper battery I just left it and the receipt for nearly $45 on the counter and departed the store highly frustrated. I will do my best to never return to this establishment. Wards Road, Lynchburg, Virginia

The two people we spoke to were very nice, and they were able to repair my phone. I had an appointment for 8:30 AM and showed up at 8 AM. I was the first one there. I was assured that the technician who did not come in until 9 o’clock would look at my phone right away as soon as she got there, but when we came back after having dropped off the phone, she was working on somebody else’s keys and had not even looked at my phone yet (at 9:45). Once she finally started looking at my phone, she got up to help every other customer that walked in the door. The repair was done well and probably took 15 minutes but we were there three hours despite arrive at 8 and having an 8:30 appointment (when the technician wasn’t even scheduled to come in until 9).

Battery plus replaced the broken back glass on my 2 year old Samsung phone and it is good as new. Highly recommend.

Do not waste your time! Got here Friday at 445p to get a key and Fob made and they said there was no technician. So I scheduled it for Monday morning "Andy" Checked the schedule and set my time for 10am. I drove a hour to get this done. Totally paid for, arrived at 950am...and now I'm told the technician doesn't come in til 11am! Please don't waste your time or money!

The store had the batteries I needed for my solar backup system, reasonably priced and the store employee did all the heavy lifting and loading of 8 80 lb batteries. Very pleased.

Yes they have batteries. PAID CASH But was sold wrong ones(3) , different hook up. So when went to take back next day( 40 miles one way) they wouldn't give cash back. Had to wait days on check or put on my card wait days. I needed that money to buy new batteries somewhere else. If you buy there just don't expect to get money back cause they said didn't have 123 in cash. Close door if you can't keep money. Sorry but way I feel. Not everyone like to hand over money . I had a good reason to get cash because I didn't buy just for me. Others wanted money back

Organized store has many types of batteries in stock. They replaced my Android battery. I had to go back on a different day because they don't always have someone that can fix Androids but I think they are always covered for iPhones. The repair person was polite and helpful. I returned for my phone 20 minutes early and he had it done. However I should have checked that the phone could make calls because after I got home, I found it could not, due to lacking the SIM card. I called and they had it at the store. While the battery issue wasn't fatal and I could do it on a convenient time, the SIM card issue was fatal and I needed to immediately return there from Forest, on an evening when I am getting ready to leave town. Food I bought on the first trip I put into the refrigerator and ate later cold. The person that answered the phone was joking but seemed to think I should treat this as my lucky day to get to go back to Wards Road. I wasn't in the mood to enjoy his humor. I appreciated though that when I got to the store, the repair person was right there at the door, apologetic and happy to get me immediately on my way. Mistakes happen, and I did show up 20 minutes before my phone was scheduled to be done. I have my battery replaced in time for my trip.

I needed a Watch battery for my Swiss Army Victorinox watch, it’s an odd size battery. I figured Batteries Plus is the place to go. The attendant tried the standard batteries with no luck I told them it was a Rennata SR 621SW after 3 failed attempts the attendant just turned his back on me and started helping other customers. Terrible service

Beyond satisfied with the service! I have a (brand new, less than 6 months old) iPhone 14, which had a trashed battery. They easily replaced my battery within a week, given they had to order one for me. Had my phone up and running like new in less than an hour, and I paid less than I would’ve, had I gone to Best Buy or Apple. Super friendly employees, and my battery maintains a healthy charge for more than 3-4 hours a day! Thanks so much :)

I purchased 2 flashlights with a lifetime warranty 1 went bad and they replaced it with not a question asked. My second one went bad and I took it back this morning and the Lady there told me that I only had a 1 year store warranty. I will promise you that I will never step in that store ever again. Very rude to a valuable customer

We have been going to Batteries Plus for many years, because they have the best selection of batteries in Lynchburg. The staff is helpful. A staff member carried a heavy component from our car into the store, installed a battery, and returned the component to the car. That was much appreciated.

I have always had a good experience with the Lynchburg store. But a week or so ago I stopped by and wanted to get a couple of batteries for my car key fob. The young man didn't seem too interested in helping me. But he finally went back to install the battery and took forever. Finally he came out and said he couldn't change the battery. I finally caught the attention of the older gentleman and he was in a big hurry as well. So, I left and can promise you I'll never go back to this store again.

Over all great experience. They were the most affordable in fixing my cracked screen. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Hopefully I will not be in need of another screen repair, but if I do, I will return here. (I have a Samsung s20 FE)

Update:I went back the next day a female manager was on duty, I’m so sorry I do not remember her name but she was very apologetic and she assisted me quickly and efficiently and fixed my screen I am back a happy customer. 5⭐ I had an appointment @7:30 pm. I arrived at 7:29pm the employee was waiting on a customer approx 5-7 mins. A gentleman walked in approximately 5 mins after that. He preceded to help the guy change a watch battery and key fob another 10 mins by now it’s 7:42. He then says let me call my manager i dont mind doing it but I just wanna make sure I can leave the store open for a few mins past closing, of course the answer was no so I'm left with a scheduled apt my time wasted my gas wasted and my repair not repaired. Definitely not happy at all!!!

Summary: Incompetent and the Speed of a Slug. I had an absolutely horrible experience. Only one worker, a tall kid with glasses, was running the store. It took him 35 minutes to find 2 bulbs for a lady who walked in AFTER me. 35 minutes...no exaggeration. Watching him work as slowly as pond water while the phone was ringing off the hook and people waited was incredibly frustrating. When he FINALLY finishes and gets to me, he proceeds to hand me a Magna Power battery even though I ordered a Duracell battery. When I point out that this is the wrong battery, he lies and tells me that this is a Duracell battery, it's just a different Duracell sticker. When I point out that those are two different companies and not a "different Duracell sticker", he had no information, no help, no solution. A grand total of 45 minutes of wasted time while trying to be conned into a different battery brand. This was a HORRENDOUS experience. I have received far better knowledge and customer service at other auto-supply stores in the area. Go to those instead. Avoid this store unless you want to be immensely frustrated and have your time wasted.

The girl was new, but she did the right thing and asked her manager for help. She was polite and so was the manager. They never got upset for how many times I called back to make sure of the right batteries for a medical chair. Which I found right one and explained to the female, who thanked me for the information. Very polite!!!!

I had a battery replaced in my cell phone and it was done with a very quick turnaround. The technician was the nicest guy and thanks to him, I have my phone back in better condition than when it when in. I'd highly recommend this business for their excellent customer service. I will be a loyal customer from today forward because I was so impressed.

We took in a Google Pixel phone that would not charge through the port. The gentleman working happily took the phone to the repair area and fixed it within a matter of minutes. We were so pleased with his happy attitude, professionalism, and ability to repair our phone so quickly. I think his name is Calen. Thank you for great customer service!

Had a great experience today getting the battery replaced in my cell phone. I scheduled the appointment yesterday afternoon, and arrived at 9:00am this morning. The customer service rep was ready for me, had my paperwork done quickly, and told me it would be done in around an hour. I went and ran a couple of errands, grabbed a bite to eat, and came back a few minutes past 1 hour. The representative saw me coming and had my phone ready to go before I got inside the store. And the price was better than I expected. Excellent customer service, thanks so much!

Just got back from a 60 mile round trip for nothing. Made online appointment to get battery replaced in my iPhone - droped off phone - told to come back in one hour - came back - told they do not have the battery. Added Review - Later that week they called me and apologized for their screw up and offered to give me a price break when they got the battery in stock, which they did this morning so they got a satisfied customer and an updated review.

Came in with Galaxy S9 phone with a cracked main rear camera lens. The guy was helpful and friendly. He told me that the lens was something that they didnt stock and would have to order. 2 weeks later I get the call that the piece had come in. I stop by to have them finally fix my camera and turns out the guy did not order the lens, he ordered the whole rear camera (which btw doesn't even come with the lens). The girl that helped me this time was nice and told me the lens was available in the warehouse. I cant wait another 2 weeks for them to order the wrong part again. Save yourself the trouble if you need a phone repaired and just go to a phone place. Batteries plus is good with batteries. Not so much on phones.

Came in to get a phone battery replaced. When we got there, we were the only customers. We were told it would take about thirty minutes. We took a seat and waited while one of the two staff members started working on our phone. The store quickly filled up with other customers. The two guys proceeded to deal with each customer on a case by case basis. Quicker matters were settled first while the jobs that took a little longer (like ours) were set aside briefly so that they could clear out the crowd. Perfectly understandable. One woman started to get impatient and asked when she would be attended to. Staff member explained that they would assist her as soon as possible, and informed us that he was ready to ring us up. Unfortunately, he had to move us to the other computer which was in use at the moment by the other guy. Logically, we had to wait. As soon as the computer became available to him, the woman started making demands about wanting to know "how things were done here." Again, he patiently explained that he was the only one trained to deal with her matter, and he was finishing up with us. She proceeded to fly into a Karen outrage, and when two other men stepped into the store, she told them that five other customers had "cut in" ahead of her, "just so they knew". Thankfully, they were perfectly nonchalant and understanding, as most reasonable people should be. All that being said, the staff handled a stressful situation professionally and with a whole lot of self control. I thought I'd jump on here and give them the five stars they deserve before lady in pink got a chance to write them a bad review. Keep up the good work, guys.

The customer service rep, Colby was so pleasant, professional and helpful. He treated me as if I was the only one in the store. Definitely A+++ customer service, fair pricing, quick turnaround time, and even a bonus gift for my purchase.

This place is Highly recommended. We have had a couple of small snafus in getting new batteries on 2 phones. But both times they took steps to make up for the problems as well as make things right. I have liked the interactions there with various staff members, and all of them have treated me nicely and professionally. I know I will be back in the store more than a couple more times.

Never get your phone screen fixed here! Went in to get my phone screen replaced after making an appointment. When arriving at the store, I was told there was not a technician present who was certified to work on my phone (despite making the appointment far in advance, and confirming two days before). On a separate experience: was told the technician would not be able to fix my iPhone because they were not certified on the particular model- after finding out they were indeed certified, they cited busyness as the reason they couldn't take me. Better off just getting your phone screen replaced elsewhere. PhoneAxiom Express Repair does a FAR better job of screen repair.

I was told to make an appointment online so I did, for 1pm. I walk in and they are fairly busy. I go to the open counter and ask where I go for my appointment because it was almost 1 o’clock. Long story short it’s just a gimmick. There’s no point to making an appointment because you still just go in and wait behind everyone in there just like everyone else who walk in. I was late for my class because they don’t keep appointment times when you pick a slot and ended up getting a zero for a missed exam. Then I come back and they try to say theres too much going on because I was missing a screw. I waited 2 hours for them to say they didn’t feel comfortable working on it. You know what? Fine. Just sell me the part because I can fix it myself. The price was the only reason I went there. No... they cant even charge full service price and just sell it to me. Thank you for wasting my time, my university grades, and my gas ever giving your business a shot. I will not be back or refer anyone there.
