Terry and staff do the service on are company vehicles. Very convenient you can drop it off in the evening and pick it up in the morning. They always give me a good deal on tires and oil changes. I really appreciate their hard work and they’re really easy to work with highly recommend them.
Not only did an oil change, they also checked EVERYTHING, all the liquids, took the tires off, checked brakes, pads, bearings, amout of tread on the tires, everything. I expected a bigger price charge than I paid. Thank you, guys.
Well like most places they are happy to take your money to get new tires and work done. But it seems to be hard to get simple and free things they offer like rotate your tires after you purchase them here. Always needing an appointment for something simple, n even when you go online and set your appointment to do the job then magically there is no appointment in your name. Even though I gave them my information and booked it all online... but since they didn't call me and give me a confirmation number my appointment I set up online didn't count. So I guess I'm saying they can do work that you pay for but anything else after that best of luck cuz they aren't going to try to do a damn thing after you walk out the door. So don't fall for the buy tires from us and we will always help you after that cuz it's just a lie, oh you paid for the tire insurance in case of a flat, sorry it's in the wrong spot for us to fix it you paid the extra insurance for nothing, oh the free tire rotation, we will do that after everything n everyone else is done first. Even when I had my last appointment they still took bout an hour to just simply rotate my tires. So definitely not speedy or willing to help you after you paid for your tires
So thankful as we had a punctured tire but made it to NTB. There were so helpful and professional. Got us in quickly, we waited in a warm waitng area. Highly recommend NTB. Treated us like family. Thank you so much
Thought I might have an issue with a tire so stopped in at Me Tire Timberlake Rd Lynchburg and was treated with the utmost professionalism anyone could ask for. I was there only minutes and my vehicle was headed to the bay/lift. Problem researched/ identified/ fixed while I waited. In and out. Unheard of!! Larry exemplified customer care 100%. I’ll need tires on two vehicles in the next 12 months and will definitely return to Mr Tire. Great experience.
Came in needing a alignment after I personally changed my upper ball joints and control arms. Paid for a Uber to take me home since it was a Sunday. Then I got a call they can't get the bolts loose. I asked them how is that possible? I tightened those bolts by hand. They said they tried and I should take it to Cash or Harris tire. I then asked if I needed to bring my tools in and loosen it for them.
So basically im out 30$ in Uber rides because they want to sit around all day and dont know how to use their muscles. Try hitting it with your purse next time bud.
I’ve had my fair share of shops taking advantage of me , but NTB will forever receive my service because they care about the customer not the dollar signs ! Very trustworthy company!
I called a lot of places to get tire prices aand NTB was the cheapest.. for my first time being here they are fantastic and very respectful, and they Compare prices.. the lady at the desk is amazing and so kind and Josh in the Bay Area is great.. they even got me in before my appointment I am very pleased with them and there over all service I definitely will be using them again from now on
Even though they done a decent job with rotating & balancing the tires & the staff was nice, it took twice to get things done. The first time, I specifically said to not rotate the tires because they had already been rotated. I just needed them balanced & aligned. I paid no mind that they ended up rotating them until someone noticed, so that is one reason I went back. They did rotate them back with no issues & were nice about it, but I am very weary of them now. Maybe it was a coincidence, but after I left the first time, it started making a crazy sound & it was acting bad. It had never done it before. I had heard a popping sound, but I know what that is. It is being fixed this weekend. This was something different. That is another reason I went back. I told him on the phone what it sounded like & what it was doing, so he told me to bring it back in, which I was going to do so anyway. Now this is where it's funny. Maybe it was a coincidence that happened right after I left there the first time, within 15 minutes, but since I left the second time, it hasn't done it one time since then & I go somewhere everyday. I won't be going back to this NTB. Again...maybe a coincidence, but I feel it isn't & that is why I'm not going back & why I didn't give them a higher rating.
I had a great experience at NTB. The employees explained everything clearly, didn’t try to upsell me, and got my tires installed quicker than expected. My car runs so much smoother now. Highly recommend this location!
Had an issue where the oil cap was left off and caused smoking from the engine compartment. When I called (quite fired up I may add), the employee who handled the issue made good on the problem and retained my business to the point I bought 4 tires from him.
I came in needing just a few lug nuts changed on my car, and I left seriously impressed. Not only did they charge me a super fair price, but they went above and beyond—tightening the bolts on all my tires without me even asking! That kind of attention to detail and care is rare these days. Highly recommend to anyone who wants honest work done correctly.
We were stranded in Lynchburg when a brake line broke, rendering us without brakes. We towed it to National Tire and Battery because it was Friday night, and they are the only shop open over the weekend. They weren't able to get an OEM brake line in for a few days, but instead they used copper line they had at the shop to create a custom brake line. They did a good job, and we were driving out of there 24 hours after we broke down.
BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!! We had my stepdaughters car inspected here a few weeks ago. We then thought about selling the car due to what it failed for then it was suggested we get a second opinion. Guess what??, it didn’t fail. Not a single thing wrong. We got our sticker and for the heck of it had it looked over at the dealer and was told the items it failed for at NTB were perfectly fine. I’m calling out the inspector here. ANDREW FIELDER. You should be ashamed of yourself. Taking advantage of a female college student. We are also filing a complaint with the Virginia State Police.
They took the time to make sure my truck was 100 pct before the rolled it and out and when I had an issue afterward, brought it back and they took care of it on the spot. Great service and reliable work, won’t go anywhere else!
My company uses NTB for are tires and oil changes. Terry and Robert go out of their way to help you take care of any problems you have. Highly recommend them for your automotive needs.

UPDATED: I decided to bring my vehicle back since I needed tires and was about due for an inspection again, so I figured I’d update my review to reflect this recent visit. Everything went smoothly! Got a good price on tires and I’m legal still lol - Glad to see Terry was still there (these places seem to have crazy employee turn around so it’s nice to see a familiar face!). He took good care of my vehicle and I again. I still highly recommend NTB/Mavis and have sent numerous people here for tires, all of whom were happy.
Also, Terry was apparently promoted to manager since my last visit (congratulations!), so now I feel even better recommending this place!!!!

I was overdue for an oil change and state inspection, so called around to a few places to see where I could get them both done on short notice and in a timely manner. When I called here I spoke with Terry, who was professional and friendly on the phone and said he could fit me in. He was there when I got there, and was able to get them both done that day as promised.
I hate going to mechanics about as much as I do dentists, so it was refreshing to find one who seems honest and didn’t pressure me to buy a bunch of crap I didn’t immediately need. That said, as long as Terry is still there, I’ll be going back when I need new tires.
Very displeased with this location. I’m told I need to have a reservation to have my vehicle serviced. When did this change? The man I spoke with was very condescending towards me. I didnt get his name. A tall gentleman with blondish hair and glasses. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
The staff was friendly, professional, and made sure to explain everything clearly before starting the work. They finished quickly without cutting corners, and my car drives smoother than ever. Pricing was fair, and the waiting area was clean and comfortable. I’ll definitely be coming back for future maintenance needs!
I had a great experience here, took in my truck for an alignment and wheel balance and they let me know that I did not need an alignment and also informed me that I had a special lug nut key that I wasn’t aware of so I wasn’t able to get my wheels balanced but their honesty is greatly appreciated and I will definitely be coming here again to get my wheels balanced! Everyone was extremely nice and helpful.

Great friendly customer service. I was able to schedule my service in the timeframe that worked best with my schedule, and am very pleased overall. I saw how they interacted with other customers, and everyone was treated with respect and kindness.
Called before heading into town for inspection and was told first come first serve. Drove 30 minutes and was told, we don’t have inspections today but you can come tomorrow. What a waste of time for customer, and this would have been my first time. Wound up being my last. Communicate better, people depend on automotive services and communication can make or break your business.
All I can say is thank you. We were headed to Baltimore Friday for my niece's Marine retirement ceremony. We got a nail in the tire from all the construction going on in the Lynchburg area. Long story short. I was there before the store opened at 8. The manager said I will get you back on the road. He had me in and out by 8:30. He and the rest of the staff were so friendly and helpful. I love the way that they doubled checked the bolts on the tires. That was great teamwork. But the whole experience was 1st class. Thank you so much. We made it in time, and it was awesome. Thanks again.
Made appointment to get TPMS replaced. Showed up at appointment time, and they immediately pulled it in and started working on it. About an hour and a half later, all fixed, and out the door.
