Great place to go. Staff is very friendly and prices are great except for the fine metals guy. He is way too picky. Had 4 small screws less than a gram and he wouldn't take it. Also grinded the brass. Have been doing this for 40 years and think I know what I'm doing. Won't take copper or brass to him anymore.
Gerdau just isn’t worth the hassle. The place feels disconnected from the customers who actually bring in the scrap. They’re slow, don’t help you unload, and the staff isn’t very friendly.
Called the guy down the road from this place the other day to get a price on aluminum cans, he said .25 a pound, so I called here and they said .52!!!! BIG difference!! So be careful who you deal with!!
Left their yard feeling cheated. Been there many times in the past with no problem, this time the attendant in the non-ferrous metals building thought he was a metallurgist. Knit picked everything. Ended up taking it back and will go to another scrap yard and will not patronize this business again.

I had come here with my friend to drop off steel and noticed there is a new girl here. I was in line waiting to be served and couldn’t help but overhear how this girl was being spoken to by the lady at the front desk in the office. I’m shocked employees speak to eachother that way, and it seems uncalled for to speak to someone in such a degrading manner. It’s bothersome to me because this is not the first time I’ve seen people talk down to this girl… I wonder if all employees do that to eachother here but it just isn’t something I deem professional
this place gives me one price on the phone totally different when i go collect,had to wait for cans to be crushed would give it a minus stars if i could ,joke. employees rude, throw stuff around like your bother them your there. never going back.
Would have given zero stars if the option was available. Ive been giving them business for 12 years and they didnt hesitate to screw me over, and then refused to talk to me let alone apologize. Will never go back again. Not enough workers, and the few who are there are massively incompetent. All around the employees are awful and extremely disrespectful. Employees here dont care. Sad.
I’ve always called around for best pricing , they have always been the highest drive on scale dump and drive back to scale and get paid . Quick unless there’s a line , recommend
