Tucked in rural Virginia along the VA-40, this was my first visit to ABC RECYCLING. I was disadvantaged by not having a pickup number, but the scale house staff were very helpful and professional in attending to my situation. The loaders and yard directors were courteous, helpful and professional. This facility is clean and very organized. It was a real pleasure having experienced such quality service.
Pulled into the yard and was honestly surprised by how clean and well kept it was for a recycling facility. The staff was super friendly and professional. Definitely a solid spot to check out plus, their rates are very fair.
Dealt with them through ebay. Came for a pick up, went to the wrong area - staff there gracefully redirected me, and once I got to the Parts department my item was ready for pickup and the whole process took less than 10 minutes. Have bought from them online before but they are just as courteous and helpful in person. Would recommend to anyone.
Absolutely outstanding group of people . Especially the young lady that hands out the cash ! She Always greets the customers with a smile and polite conversation. For over 15 years l have never had a bad experience doing business with ABC Recycling .
I’m a truck driver. I recently had the pleasure of picking up a load at this facility. I’ve been all over the country and have picked up and delivered at many different recycling places. This one, by far, is the best! Clean! I didn’t have to look at the ground for random pieces of metal that could pop my tires. Organized! The check in/out procedure is simple and explained well. Friendly! The staff was efficient and nice to interact with. I will be forever comparing any other recycling facility to this one in the future and I can honestly say I doubt any of them will measure up. Congrats ABC Recycling you have a terrific business model. Cheers to many years of success!
Was watching a transmission on eBay they were selling for several months. Ended up just calling them. We finagled a price that worked best for both of us. Customer service was through the roof very friendly and prompt, paid for it that morning. Transmission was shipped out that afternoon and I received it here in Wyoming in 4 days. Finally got it installed and it worked perfect. Can’t recommend these guys enough. The way a business should be ran. Thank you
We had a few bumps, but I wouldn't go anywhere else. Staff are friendly and just great. Prices are the best. I have no problem in driving the 35 minutes and actually look forward to the trips.

What nice place to pickup a load from everyone was very friendly especially the beautiful black lady with short dreadlock, and I was in and out in 45 minutes with full trailer
As I pull into the yard the place was clean for it to be a recycling yard. They got me loaded in under 40 min. Then re-scale me out perfectly. They staff here was amazing, was offered a ginger ale an crackers. Great place to visit.
Got loaded there this morning. Loaded quickly and for a recycling place no trash to run over in parking lot. Very nice people, axle out your weight, offer soft drinks and snacks all for free. Hope I get sent there again
I arrived at 10 am. Empty weighed and backed in the dock. Was loaded within 20 minutes. There was a discrepancy with the weights and Mrs Mary in the office along with Mr RJ in the warehouse had to completely off load and reload to ensure the weights were where they should be. Everyone was amazing and worked together expeditiously to get me legal and rolling. I’d rate 10+ stars if I could.
Yesterday went there towing a trailer full of sorted materials that I planned according to the last visit. This time, the scrap pile was in a different location and I backed my trailer as instructed. Before I could do anything, the magnet operator grabbed a full bite of metal which included my detailed scrapped electric motors. When I said something to retrieve them (in a separate stainless container) the attendant told me he didn’t see anything and not his fault. Well ok. I pointed to the pile of my electric motors and asked to get them back, he begrudgingly threw them to the ground near me and I’m quoting, “you get ‘em”. So, I took one of my already emptied totes and dug maybe 3/4 of it from the metal pile. It was $31 worth of motors and maybe lost $10. Inside the building for the separated copper, etc. it was fine except for every tote that was emptied & weighed was then tossed into the trailer like it was a dumpster. If a business doesn’t respect me, my equipment & my business then Kiss off. There are lots of recycling yards. This load was worth almost $600 and I bring some quality bearing steel, copper, hvac coils, etc. Maybe my small money isn’t worth their time so maybe I’ll just take it somewhere else.
The parts department always comes through for me, and this time it was my horn. My Nessa (2013 Ford Fiesta SE) is a runner and a track star but her voice box quit quicker than her legs. A quick call to the parts department and by Friday (residental parts day) they had a gently used horn pulled for me in a snap! Trust and believe if you need parts, ABC is the place to go!
We purchased a replacement motor from this company. The motor smoked and burned oil badly upon installation. After calling for a replacement I was made to jump through hoops by the parts people. They didn't have a replacement for me which was fine but in the end they wouldn't return my money. I would definitely not recommend this company.
This was my first load I picked up from this company and the experience was amazing!!!! This is the first company I’ve been asked if I was hungry and I wanted anything to eat or drink. Everyone was joyful and seemed so caring and attentive.
Awesome company! Purchased an engine on ebay from them and the trucking company gave me a huge $5,000 bill! They handled everything for me and got it all sorted out! Engine fired up on the first hit! Will be buying more from them!
Picked up a load going to OH very clean property. Loaded fast. The ladies in the office very friendly nothing but good things to say about ABC Recycling. Would definitely load here again.
I used ABC Recycling Inc. to purchase a hard to find brake module for a Corvette. Billy was professional and prompt with his responses, ensured the part was correct (based on part number), and provided all necessary details. The transaction was seamless and pricing was very fair. They were willing to allow me to provide a shipping label for international shipping due to the timeline we had to get the part. Very helpful. They help unload and make the experience fast and enjoyable. Just becareful when unloading big items the path can be narrow but it is easy to get throw.
Everyone is really nice and friendly, great customer service. Rick from parts was very patient with me and listened to what I was looking for and took me around to find it. Definitely recommend ABC for all your recycling needs and parts.

ABC is a Excellent Place to deal with. Every transaction has been perfect. They offer great prices on there salvage parts and great customer service. Even have a little eye candy at the front window! :) GREAT PLACE!!!
Shout out to the ABC Recycling crew!! They have a lovely staff and used parts with unbeatable price..If you need a part just pay them a visit!! I have been getting parts for a lengthy time from them and the are still holding up very well!!
Was told one price over the phone, and when I got there tried telling me what I brought would be paid out at half price as it was dirty. Been in construction for 15 years and the reason it would be dirty has never been an issue with any recycling place from Richmond all the way down to Carolina. For anyone that doesn't know better I'm sure they have a decent experience, but I know better. I will never return here.
