I got in an accident involving a deer , my insurance company called another towing company and we ended up waiting over 3 hours thinking they were coming to find out they were on another call. It was midnight so me and my husband found AAlways Hookin and towing and Cindy has been extremely helpful. She sent Justin who showed up about 15 mins after the call. Even dealing with the issues with the Insurance company she has been so helpful and kind. I highly recommend them. Thank you so much Cindy!
I locked my keys in my car at the gas station next door. I called them to see if they could come help. They said it would be 2 hours. I told them great, I’ll be waiting… well 2 hours pass and I don’t hear a word from anyone. I tried to call back and no one answered. I then had to search for a lock smith. When I finally got one on the way, I tried to call them a final time, still no answer…. I just wished they woulda called me to let me know they couldn’t make it to me. I coulda called and looked around for someone else.
After my car broke down in Oilville, I called for a tow and got an immediate response from the Mineral office. The tow driver Justin arrived within 15 minutes of hanging up the phone. Very prompt, professional, and informative. Towed my car home and gave me a ride home as well. I would definitely call and use them again if I need another tow. Outstanding staff hands down!!

Life saver! Broke down on the side of RT60 on a Sunday morning. While other companies wouldn’t even answer the phone, the one who did said “probably a few hours.” Always Hooking and Towing not only answered but was hooking up my vehicle incredibly fast. I am so grateful for Cindi the driver. She’s also probably the coolest tow truck driver in the whole state. Y’all rock!
10 out of the 5 stars available. I had a flat tire on a U-Haul trailer rented in another state. The U-Haul help line was sending a repair tech that was two hours away to replace the tire, that is not acceptable. I canceled the U-Haul service request. After several conversations with U-Haul dealers I contacted AAlways Hookin on the recommendation of another U-Haul/tow company. AAlways Hookin solved my problem quickly. The AAlways Hookin driver meet with me enroute to my destination to change out the tire. This enabled me to get the trailer loaded and back to NC. Thank you AAlways Hookin for the extra effort.

We got a flat tire on 64 and started searching online for gas stations nearby. We barely made it to the exit and saw AAlways Hookin’ right at the turn and decided to go for it. Wow! We were back on the road in about half an hour with a new tire. Justin greeted us immediately, shared so much knowledge with us, and treated us like family. Could not be more thankful for his care and service during a stressful event.

I had a troubling experience I had with AAlways Hookin' Towing & Tire. My insurance arranged for their services to assist in removing my car from a ditch in my driveway. The assigned driver, Jonathan Ellis, performed his job professionally and left once the task was completed. My understanding was that the service was fully covered by insurance, with no additional charges.
However, approximately 15 minutes later, I received a call from the company’s owner, Cynthia Tinsley, demanding a payment of $36. Since my insurance had confirmed full coverage, I requested an invoice to forward to them. Ms. Tinsley responded aggressively, yelling at me, calling me a "cheapskate," and threatening to dump my car back in the ditch. She further claimed the driver would remain on my property until I agreed to pay, though the driver had already left.
Later, I received an invoice with a $125 “waiting fee” added, despite the driver not being present on my property. When questioned, Ms. Tinsley alleged GPS and dash cam data confirmed the driver was waiting in my driveway, but she refused to provide evidence or clarify the location. This behavior left me feeling extremely uncomfortable, and I considered contacting the police. My insurance subsequently verified there was no one at my property and agreed to pay the $36 charge.
The following day, Ms. Tinsley escalated the situation by contacting my employer to lodge a complaint against me. Later, she sent me a text instructing me to cease contact, to which I agreed. She then threatened to involve law enforcement and pursue legal action.
This interaction was deeply distressing due to the unprofessional and aggressive behavior displayed over a $36 payment. I am concerned about the potential impact of similar actions on others who might be in more vulnerable situations.
I have nothing but great things to say about this this company. we had a car run hot on Rte 60 in Powatan at 5 a.m. on this morning on a cold 23-degree day. I called AAA as I had a Premier Membership with them for a tow and the response I got was the earliest they could get a tow truck to me would be 9 a.m., 4hrs later. I did mention that it was 23-degrees and a 4hr wait time for a company that's supposed to offer 24hr service was unacceptable, especially considering I was a first-time member and had paid more for a "premier membership." Needless to say, I was frustrated and after dialing three (3) other supposed 24hr tow companies, Cindy of AAlways Hookin' Towing answered my call not only once, but every time I called her. She gave me an ETA of 30-40 minutes and she was spot on. I was able to get the car towed to my mechanic and dropped off timely and never got a call from the supposed AAA company that had a 4hr window.
I highly recommend this company for your towing needs and will definitely have them on speed dial for my towing needs in the future. Reasonably priced also for a 5 a.m. call.
My husband and I were traveling home from vacation in our motorhome on Interstate 64 when a tire on our car dolly blew out. We did not have a spare, so Aalways Hooking Towing and Tire came to our location, removed the wheel, took it back to their shop to replace the tire, and then came back to our location to install the new wheel. They had us back on the road in about an hour!
I got a tire blowout on 64 right before exit 159 around 11pm last night and gave this company a call. They answered right away and was super helpful. They didn’t have a driver close by but was super knowledgeable and explained how I can get to the shop safely without damaging my car further. This morning they were able to replace my tire this morning and was extremely friendly and fast! The lady I spoke with her name was Cindy!
The pure kindness and compassion from this woman owned and operated business is top tier. A true angel, I’ve never felt more comfortable in such a stressful situation and it was handled so quickly. It was like doing business with family, definitely recommend!
Experienced a flat tire on 64. Within 30 to 45 min they had me and my family picked up and on our way to their shop. They got me a replacement tire quickly after arriving. Professional, courteous, and understanding.
100% pleased with the service we received from Ricky and his wife today. We were traveling on I 64 and our tire flew off our truck. I called AAlways and they rescued us from the roadside and while waiting for Ricky to pick us up and tow us she inquired about the parts we needed and had them ordered and delivered promptly to repair our vehicle and get us back on the road. Great experience and so thankful to have met them on our journey!
On July 1 the first day of my summer vacation my motorhome had a catastrophic tire failure. It was mid day on a weekend before the July 4th holiday. Called half a dozen tire shops and the earliest they might be able to assist was 8 hours later. Cindy at AAlways Hookin and Towing got right to it and I had a new tire delivered and installed roadside. I was back on the road within an hour of the tire failure. Restored my faith in the service industry.
On my way to Richmond had bad luck on my bike and needed assistance! Pulled off the highway and ended up at Always Hooking! I was treated like a customer is supposed to be treated! The owner went the extra mile to make sure I was ok and safe and went above and beyond to get me a trailer to get my motorcycle home! I recommend if need towing on the mineral/Louisa area use AAlways Hooking!!

We had a flat on our camper, on I64, late night. The owner, and worker went above and beyond to get us on our way. They also did NOT price gouge us, which in the situation could have and we would have had to pay. The owner even came out late night to check on us and her employee.

I was stranded in the middle of the night and had nowhere to get a tire. I called Cindy,yes Cindy the owner operator. She was quick to help. She told me she didn't have the tire that night but she would find me one the next morning.
This morning at 8, she promptly found me a tire and brought me two just in case. Within an hour I was done and out of there.
Y'all, this woman is amazing. She has the best customer service and is quick to help. I am thankful for people like this, especially when you are in an unknown place.

Had a flat on my large work truck. Pulled in ( it's a dually, flat was on the back) to see if they would air it up. Found out the tire was pretty bad shape. These guys sold me a new tire for less than half what I was able to get them anywhere else. Also jumped on the repair right away, which I really appreciated because I had 4 guys on the clock waiting to get to another job. Awesome value! And equally awesome service!! They're getting my business from here on out.
My husband and I were traveling on Interstate 64 in Va. We were having car trouble and pulled into a local gas station and they gave us AAlways Hookin Towing & Tire Company’s phone number. The tow operator came to help us immediately and brought our car to a mechanic that would be able to fix the issue by morning. The tow operator was kind enough to wait around and even brought us to a local hotel since we were not from this area. They were very professional and caring. She even called us in the morning to make sure the car was fixed so we could get back on the road. They went beyond what I would have ever expected and brought us a state.calm.
