Ridgeway’s in Lovettsville is my go-to spot for assessment and auto repair. This is the easiest, friendliest, and most efficient auto repair workshop, which is precisely why I choose them.
Called this shop after receiving multiple extremely expensive quotes in the Ashburn area for a transmission clutch replacement on my truck. The owner answered the phone and put together a much fairer quote. Received the vehicle back and the work is just great, clutch works perfectly and the price couldn't be beat. I do almost all of my vehicle maintenance myself, have literally rebuilt one vehicle entirely, and am constantly arguing with Ashburn area shops about their over billing and dubious work quality. I didn't have to do any of that at this shop. The owner was honest and straightforward, no bad surprises at all. I'll be back again!! Highly recommend this shop.

That’s exactly what Brett and his team do. They always treat my vehicle with respect as well as my self and never take it advantage of me. I’ve purchased several cars from here and so has my family. I knew I was in good hands when Mark was helping me pick out a car. I was in a terrible car accident due to black ice and Mark helped me feel comfortable about getting a car that I would feel safe again in.

Went in today to get some tires mounted and balanced on my truck. Service was amazing. Got me in and out in under 45 minutes. Although pretty simple, I would think the work they do on smaller jobs translates to bigger jobs. 5/5 Would recommend to anyone in the area.
We dropped our car off last night as it was making a scraping noise when I turned right. By the time I called at 10 am to let them know the problem they said it was finished. They had changed the oil AND fixed the scraping noise.

I purchased my first car through Ridgeway's Used Cars, and 4 months later, I still love it. I called Mark Ridgeway looking for a small SUV in August and he quickly found a Hyundai Tucson perfectly in my budget. He personally drove it back from the auction in Pennsylvania to make sure the car was working well.
I am a single young lady, and when I went to look at the car by myself, he treated me with the same respect and courtesy as he did when my dad came with me. Mark didn't ignore my concerns, answered my questions well, and was very knowledgeable.

I've been using Ridgeway's Auto for years. Mark, Brett, and the gang are the best it town when it comes to most things. Over the years I honestly can't remember how many cars I've purchased through them, but I would continue to do so if my current car broke down - that is, if it wasn't worth it to fix it.
I will say: the shop looks a little bit older from the outside. It doesn't have fancy lights or logos or bright colors like a Goodyear or Midas or other big national chain place would, but it has something those lack, and that is to say Ridgeways has a few great mechanics in there. I always see the same people and I know they do good work.
Most of all, I TRUST Ridgeway's for auto repair. I know enough about cars to know what I should be paying for something and know about when something should be fixed, and they always do me right here. They aren't going to try to sell you headlight fluid or an unnecessary radiator flush or some other BS like places I've been to in Leesburg and Purcellville. These guys are good. I'd go to them even if I didn't live nearby because it's worth the drive.
One tip if you're reading this. There's a 10% coupon on their website, but it only works once. This is new from previous years and I think it's because they finally got a computer in their office and I think can do stuff like that now.
