In 2015, our 2008 Shelby GT experienced a collision while parked. Damage was not insignificant. Ray and his expert body shop guys repaired the damage completely; there are no residual indications of a collision.
In 2019, we took our Lexus SC430 in for minor parking lot ding. Again, Bill's Body Shop did terrific. Ray is great to work with and he bends over backwards to exceed our expectations. These folks are superb masters at their craft.
In 2025, our 2020 Mercedes experienced a "brake check" scam; it was considerably damaged. Ray and his team at Bill's Body shop returned the car to perfect, as new condition. We couldn't be more pleased with the quality of their work.
I really appreciate Bill's attention to detail and their good work. They are my first thought when I need their services. They deserve 5 stars, but I know I ignore the 5 star reviews, so this is the reason for my 4-star review.

I want to thank everyone at Bills body shop for the work they have done on my vehicle. I want to most definitely thank Ray for his outstanding communication and being very helpful throughout the entire process of my truck being in the shop. I will most definitely be going back to him and his crew for any work that needs to be done to my vehicle. And I also recommend anyone to go to Bills Body shop in Lively Virginia.
Enough said, ray. Had to replace some worn out parts and my mechanic recommended this place for an alignment. Phone service is a joke out here so I stopped in to make an appt. Said I needed to make one for an alignment and dude asked, in the most unwelcome tone, what I did to it as if I'm beating my car up. Already a bad first impression. Told me what day I could drop the car off and they'd get to it when they get to it. No problem, I said that's fine as long as they don't mind me waiting. Then he refused to make me an appointment. It's not like I can take a bus somewhere and the lack of eye contact makes ya wonder if there was some kinda underlying prejudices. Whatever dude, I'll take my money elsewhere.
Did a great job. They were very helpful and easy to deal with. It didn't take them long to fix my car either. I didn't have to worry about any of the details. They took care of everything.
Great people and great work and service. Awesome value. Just an all around fantastic experience getting my car put back together after a deer tried to jump through my windshield. High,y recommended!
Stopped in because my Dodge Ram side box would not unlock. They were very busy, and I explained that I had tools in the box that I needed. Both Bill and his son Ray took time to help. I called a locksmith first who said I would have to take it to a body shop. We still couldn't open it, and we called a Dodge dealer who said that they had no idea of how to get into it. After a lot of examining and prying while banging, it popped open. They found the broken clip and replaced it. I can only say that I couldn't believe how much they charged me. They were more than fair and more than kind. I wouldn't go to anyone else.
Bill’s did an absolutely brilliant job on our Ford F-150 in the premium color Rapid Red Metallic Clearcoat. We had some damage on the hood (hail or tree limb?) and a dent on the side door caused by a mirror sideswipe. The repair is invisible. They are true craftsmen.
Absolutely fantastic work highly recommend!! I was involved in a drive by shooting holes, chips, throughout my Lincoln mkz hybrid, it's brand new car!! Much appreciated and great customer service!
Guys at Bill's body shop are awesome. Got the mirror and glass busted off the work van on top the Kilmarnock bridge on Thursday and they were able to get it replaced on Friday.
The folks here are all helpful and knowledgeable! They got the work on my car done ahead of schedule and for less than what they said it would cost. I'd definitely recommend using them.
My car was damaged by falling branches. The front windshield was broken and the hood had a serious dent plus some other damage. Bill came to the house to tow it away and 10 days later I picked it up. It looked brand new. The paint job exactly matched the original paint, the broken grill and windshield were replaced, the glass was vacuumed and the outside cleaned and waxed.
I can highly recommend Bill's for paint, bodywork and service.
I took my truck to Bills Body Shop after hitting a deer. When I went to to pick it up it had decals missing and my window wouldn’t work. I took it back and got the driver window working but the other three windows, review mirror, heated seats, and door locks wouldn’t work. After taking it back several times I just gave up trying to get their mistakes fixed. Fast forward 3 months later I towed my boat down the road and rear bumper fell off. After investigating I found that they left 4 of the 6 bolts out of it and the two that were installed were installed in the wrong bolt hole.
I’ll never go back!
The front of our 2019 Unity RV was damaged by another RV whose driver was attempting to park next to us in a Michigan State Park.
Ray and his colleagues at Bill's Body shop did an outstanding job repairing the damage. They also worked with the insurance company and did all the necessary paperwork.
The stress was significantly reduced and our RV looks like there was never any damage.
In terms of stars, I would give them more than 5 if it were possible.
PS: And they even washed it. Well done!!
