‘Black electrical tape hiding check engine light’ Advertised as “130k miles. Runs and drives great. Recent inspection and oil change. Very reliable.” I asked him if he could check for a check engine light before I come pickup, he says “it runs great no lights on” . I pick the car up on my lunch break it has 138k miles on the way home, I peeled a black piece of electrical tape covering a check engine light.
I call him he says to bring it back and he will fix it but when I setup an appointment to fix it he wants to charge me. The AC also went out 3 weeks into having the vehicle it also rides very rough which was why I wanted him to fix it. Very disappointed with Gonzalo, no integrity. Beware before you buy here.
Went to this place told him what vehicle I was interested in he hand me the keys I drove it, within a hour I was driving home. This is day 27 of ownership and I am well pleased. I would use them again
All I can say is I'm not a happy camper today has been long I reached out to this business to purchase a vehicle I let him know I was coming and that it would take me 3hrs to get to them so me and my wife and almost 2 year old child headed out to this establishment, So when we arrived after this long drive just to find out the vehicle was already sold before we got there and they didn't even have the audacity to give us a call to let us know didn't say sorry we apologize or anything then on the other hand a crying baby ready to get out the car seat from the drive omg it's been a rough 6hrs! we wasted a whole day burning gas, time, money and still no vehicle so just beware when doing business with these people.

Terrible place to buy a vehicle from. The vehicles are no good. Talk good like they will fix the vehicle then when the time comes will not. They fix the vehicles enough to sale As is! Then you are stuck with a vehicle that will cost so much to get it to run properly!! I would not recommend them to Anyone!!!
Run away. I took my truck that was leaking oil. They said it was a big problem and said it wouldn't cost less than 1200 dollars to fix it and a couple hundred dollars just to “analyze it”. They gave me the run around and every day promised they would get to it. My truck was there for a week untouched. Enough was enough, I need my truck, and went and took it back.
I decided to take it to another mechanic, the problem was resolved in 10 minutes and total was $120.
This is not a company that I can respect, as they showed they do not respect their customer.
We bought a car for $3000 from them and it’s been broken down twice within the last month that we’ve had it the first time we’ve had to replace the fuel pump and now it’s broken down again and we don’t know why . We have a baby with chronic kidney disease and right now we’re living off of one income and we don’t have the money to keep putting it in the shop. on top of it we had our baby with us to go and look at the vehicle. This vehicle shouldn’t cost more than 1200 when all you did was rig it up to run according to the mechanic we took it to to fix the fuel pump.
I have been going to this shop ever since they opened up. they are the Best! Honest Fair and dependable. They NEVER try to upsell you things you don't need. Work is always done in a timely manner.
I recommend them to all my friends.
Just bought a chevy silverado from them and didnt notice everything i should have when i looked it over. Whole frame is completly rusted out and both rear shock mounts are completly rusted off and broken. This place does not care about its customers and will sell you absolutely anything even if its trash! Wont make that mistake twice.
Completely dishonest. They seem extremely nice on the phone. They basically sell insurance wrecks and salvaged/rebuilt vehicles. Listed vehicle online as having a clean title when the title was branded. Wasted 6 hours of my time. You better ask for the VIN and get the Carfax before you head their way.
You have been warned. They are ready and willing to take advantage of ignorant people.
They sold me a car for $4000 and I’ve had it for two weeks and the catalytic converter is bad, it has a leak AND I just replace a separate part a WEEEK after having it!!!!!! I have kids and a job I can’t afford to miss, I wish this place would be more honest about the vehicles they sell. They seem very nice, but the cars, not so much. Very disappointed
10 months later I unfortunately used this car as my mom car to get my kids around and it has broken down 4 times. We paid $4,000 for it and we have now put almost $4,000 in repairs:/ (which we don’t have) they were super nice, but this absolutely turned out very bad for us and has put us in debt. I don’t even want to sell this car to anyone bc I would want someone else to deal with it. :/ .trued to each out and they obviously read the email with no response......……......
So far so good. Being a family of one income I’m Leary of handing over thousands of dollars. The gentlemen at this shop are very honest and direct. Purchased an 07 Chrysler pasifica to drive my two boys around and I’m very satisfied. I’d give them a chance for Sure. They care about what they’re selling and go above and beyond with making sure you come prepared for an easy transaction. Happy mama here.
Jpg is the best shop, hands down, it’s family run, they can always fix what’s wrong with your cars, they are trustworthy and very friendly, they always have a great selection of cars also!
Happy to take your money but customer service is the worst, the people will not stand behind their product. Bought a motor questioned why it was pulled apart. That’s how we do it when there was a problem with the motor at installation one guy was downright confrontational the other said it was not their fault. Basically out $1050 for motor and another $1000 for installation. They did give me another head to replace part of the problem but that one had a bent valve. So if you do not want to get ripped off stay away from these people!
What a scam they sold me a car with a BAD computer and the keys don’t even work to the car doors and now none of the gauges are working and it’s only been 2 months, oh yea not to mention they advertised the car saying 150,000 miles only to find out the odometer is completely wrong. Tell me how did you pass this car for inspection when the windshield wipers and signals don’t work due to faulty wiring even though you said this car has absolutely NO issues? I’m confused?..... Stay far away !
This guy's are great... I recently bought a 2005 nissan altima from them. They have gone above and beyond to make sure I was with my pleased with my purchase and to make sure everything was good. I strongly recommend buying a car from here. You will not be disappointed that I can guarantee. And they if you need work done on anything they are a great place to get your car worked on. Great dealer and auto repair shop. I bought my 2005 Ford F-350 from them for a great price and warranty. And a quick turn around for my tires and inspection on my other truck. Great family own business!
If you're in the King William area and want experienced, knowledgeable, and hardworking mechanics, go with JPG. These guys are awesome and I'd never take my auto to another shop in Virginia. Highly recommended if trust and honesty are important to you.
