These folks are wonderful They assisted me after I was hit by a reckless driver, a very scary accident, and were exceptionally professional. The gentleman who came to get my car (Donnie) was kind and quickly got my car out of an embankment. Everyone at Broyles were kind. Made this part of the process very easy. 13/10 recommend

Super responsive, friendly and caring. Needed winching out of a sink hole I ended up in. They were very friendly and helped me straight away!!!

They had my truck for over 2 weeks. Needed the power steering pump replaced. Once I got the truck back I found two leaks coming off of the power steering pump, both were coming from their brand new hose clamp connections. Both times I had to fix them on the side of the road. For over $4,000 I expected quality work.

Charged me $420 to get pulled out of mud, said it was that high because state police called them. I wasn't even towed anywhere just pulled out . Women beware. They will rip you off and think you're stupid enough to belive it.

Broyles Auto... Bubba and Mike are the BEST!!! This establishment is very trustworthy, honest, dependable and reasonable. My truck broke down in the Glen Allen area during the fourth of July weekend and Broyles came to the rescue. These gentlemen were honest and straight forward about timing and pricing. The work was completed professionally and I am now able to confidently make some money in my 2003 6.0 without any headaches or heartaches. Bubba went above and beyond the call of duty to accommodate my family and I. I look back and consider myself very fortunate to have broken down close enough to Broyles Auto to accommodate my situation. It is nice to know that there are still some knowledgeable and honest mechanics that can handle there business. - Jim Proud owner of 2003 F250 Super Duty for the past decade - 199k on the clock and as reliable as a Honda

After searching for a local available heavy wrecker, I contacted BROYLES. They were responsive to assist with moving our heavy Purple Heart Firetruck left off the road with mechanical problems. Dean Edward came with his 40 ton rotator on the scene and took charge of a tough situation. He really took all the safety precautions for towing this beast and overcame all the obstacles of this old vehicle. OPHT is a 501(3)c charitable organization dedicated solely to honoring our veterans who served and sacrificed for our nation. We appreciate the quality of your service to keep our firetruck on the road. Thanks

A neighbor recommended Broyles. However, I am saddened that I didn't get to experience the great work that Broyles does because they wouldn't return my call. Moving on.

Problems with yearly inspection. Failed vehicle on very minor and questionable underbody issue. Then when issue was repaired, they claimed that another even more minor issue was also bad. Had to repair and come back a third time. Probably would not have been an issue at a competing shop. Broyles, you are in the catbird seat as far as state required inspection is concerned, so enjoy it while it lasts. Personally, I prefer a shop that draws business from good service and reasonable prices. Not state-sponsored shakedowns.

After being in an accident on interstate 95 on 12/8, these guys showed up and cleared out the scene. My tow truck driver, JT, made sure I was safe on the scene, offered me a phone charger, helped me with my car back at their lot, and was overall awesome and comforting during a very stressful time. The office folks (Mike and others) also went above and beyond, helping to get things sorted out, being friendly and concerned about my well-being, offering a very clean and comfortable facility to wait in until my ride arrived, and helping me the next day by locating and saving a personal item I had accidentally left in my vehicle. I would recommend this business, without a doubt, to anyone. They helped turn a nightmarish morning into a much more tolerable day.

Spoke with Matt today and it was probably his only day off. Matt took the time to explain to me their process in dealing with special cases and customers. Thank you for speaking with me.

I can’t say enough great things about Broyles. Marvin and Keenan in service are thorough and attentive and put out nothing but quality work. Troy is so friendly and helpful when setting up a tow. From start to finish you will be impressed with Broyles!

Absolutely worse tow company around dont call if you care about what’s getting towed. Complete disregard of the safety and well being of the property.

I called they were very nice and my car sits very low to the ground and they were very cautious. Great customer service. I would highly recommend. I would use them again best hands down.

The best service I’ve ever seen by far, this place towed me , fixed me and made absolutely sure I was good and when something else separate happened they CAME TO MY HOTEL AND WORKED UNTIL IT WAS FIXED AT NINE AT NIGHT . This place deserves more stars then five I’m beyond satisfied they even said they would give me my 1,500 back if they couldn’t get it in a parking lot in the dark.

I've only been here for a motorcycle inspection, but they went out of their way to accommodate me when nobody else would. Very friendly Service as well. Much appreciated! I'll use them again in the future.

I almost never write a review, but I was so impressed with Broyles service I thought I would. I called needing to have my vehicle taken for a tire replacement, the office personnel took my info and dispatched a driver "Jason" who arrived ahead of time and had the roll back truck in place and waiting. He was friendly and professional. He took some photos of my vehicle before moving it so as to establish its condition if questions arose later and agreed to take the keys in and give them to the dealership so that I did not have to follow him. I will be using them again if I need towing.

Steer well clear of this outfit. They charged us $238 for a 3-mile tow to their lot. My boss had had run-ins with them before and strongly suggested I get it out of there as soon as possible. When my boss offered to help me pay for the tow to get it off their lot and showed up with me they actually cursed at him and told him to get off their property. When he said he was only there to pay the tow driver they called the police. Yes the police. I've never heard so much yelling in my life. Something seriously wrong with these folks. They are on the police call list, but you can always request someone else. Don't make the same mistake we did. One star is probably five too many.

If you really really really need them be prepared to pay three times the going rate for whatever they do. Unfortunately we really really needed them, but next time I'll just let it sit and I recommend you do the same. $650 for a 5 minute winch, no tow at all. Their driver even said he even felt it was price gouging.

Awesome service and very fair priced! Highly knowledgeable technicians and they're great at diagnosing issues. I wouldn't trust my car with anyone else. Marvin and Chris are the best!

Broyles Auto and Wrecker Service price gouges and takes advantage of accident victims when they are in a desperate situation. I would give them zero stars if I could. My daughter got in an accident on Sunday on 95 just north of Richmond. Having never been in an accident before, she was very upset and in shock, and did not know what her rights and obligations were. The police called for a wrecker to tow the car without asking for her consent or informing her of her rights and obligations except to say that she could not leave the scene before the car was removed. A Broyles wrecker responded to the scene, did not ask if she wanted her car towed, hooked up her car, and without asking her where she wanted the car towed, hauled the car back to their yard. She asked the driver about the cost of towing, and the driver just said they would bill us, that they could scrap the car, that she should take all her possessions, and that the storage fee was $25 per day. On Monday, I spoke with the owner, Jennifer Broyles. I asked how much a tow would cost and she told me it was $78.50. When I told her that our car was already in their yard, she told me that since it was an “accident situation” that it would cost $225, and that storage was $40 per day (not the quoted $25). I asked why it was so much more expensive, and she said it was because a normal tow would have the person present with the car, would have the key, and would be able to hook up and go. Since the car was on the shoulder, was still drivable immediately after the accident, my daughter was present, and she had the key, I do not see how this is different. It would be different if the car were flipped or in a ditch, but it was not. She then added that it cost more on a weekend because she had to pay her drivers more. I can understand that, but that does not explain charging almost TRIPLE the price. I had found a local scrap yard that would pay $200 for the vehicle as long as it was delivered to them. The car also had two brand new tires put on a week before the accident. I asked Jennifer if the scrap value of the vehicle and tires could be used to offset the tow and storage expenses. But NO, they would only waive the storage cost, but we would have to pay the full exorbitant $225 for the tow and they would keep the profits from any scrap value as well. Or we could pay the $225 plus $40 per day in storage, plus pay for another tow to take it to the salvage yard. I asked if we could come take the two new tires off the vehicle; she said NO, not while it was on her property. I told her it was still my car, this was price gouging, and they were taking advantage of us in a desperate situation. I knew the car had scrap value, two tires had additional value, it didn’t cost her anywhere near $225 to have the car towed, and that the storage didn’t cost her anything and was pure profit. She wouldn’t budge and had possession of our vehicle so we had no choice. We not only had to pay the $225 for the towing, we also had to pay them $35 to remove the two front wheels/tires so we could try to recoup some of the nearly $260 we had just spent on them. It is my assertion that Broyles is intentionally taking advantage of accident victims without asking them where they want the car towed or informing them of their fees before hooking up and moving the vehicle to their lot. They also charge an exorbitant amount for the tow and storage – almost three times the cost of their “regular” tow and $15 more per day than the driver quoted for the storage – which is abusive price gouging. And once the vehicle is on their lot, the owner has no rights to it without paying these excessive charges and/or risking additional $40 each day for storage to try and fight it. If you have an accident in the Richmond area, don’t call Broyles for a tow.

We provide logistics for car donation programs. These folks are extremely selective about what they like to tow. FYI They will NOT touch an RV.
