First time customer! Ordered a part, which they stated was in stock and working properly and I could pick up at the end of th day or the following morning. At the end of the day they called and stated the part was no good and they don't have anymore in stock. Had to pay in advance only to not receive the product and now have to wait for a refund. Wont be a repeat customer. SMH
I would never recommend Bruce Auto. The service here was unprofessional and disappointing. They made promises they couldn’t keep, and communication was very poor. The staff didn’t seem to care about customer satisfaction, and the whole experience felt rushed and careless.
On top of that, the work they did was not up to standard – I ended up having more problems than when I first came in. If you value honesty, quality, and respect for your time and money, I suggest going somewhere else.
These people are scammers. I bought a computer for my truck from them at 10 a.m. and at 3 p.m. my mechanic said that it didn't work because it had to be the same year as my truck. They gave me a 2015 one and my truck is a 2013 one. When I went to return it, they told me that I was going to lose 20% of what I paid because that's what they said.
I've never had an experience like this at a salvage yard... I called to see if they had a door for my car, they told me they were getting a vehicle in so I drove by. The young lady up front went over pictures of the vehicle with me, and asked me a few trim specific questions to make sure it was an acceptable match. I paid then, and a couple of days later they called to tell me the vehicle had arrived and they had pulled the door, and it was ready for pickup. Apparently this is their standard practice, I got the impression they don't allow customers on their lot at all. Which I appreciate, I'm sure they are able to keep what is left in better condition that way. I figured they are shipping all over as well. Very happy with the part, happy with the price, and all I had to do was order and wait!
They promised and even contacted me to collect one of yhe part of a car once I visited thrre place thay daid sorryvthe part would be available not today may be tomorrow

I had a series of unfortunate events that has caused me to break down in VA. Thank God for Bruce's autoparts and for miss Kimberly who was the savior of the day. They were able to find me a rear alex for my tacoma so I can get my truck home soon. I am not local here but I would def recommend this family owned 3rd generation run buisness. Called to see if they had the part I needed. They did and was told they would call when it had been found. Paid over phone. True to their word, they called soon after. Very smooth process. Just wished they had one closer to or in Midlothian. Definitely would refer Bruce Auto Parts to anyone.

I cannot give enough stars for this place. They did an outstanding job on putting a newer transmission in my CRV. I do not understand the bad reviews on Bruce's auto parts. Everyone here was really nice and helpful. If you want great quality for a wonderful price come here. I would highly recommend anyone to come here for all automotive needs. Very knowledgeable, friendly and honest people. You do not find many mechanics these days with such awesome qualities that Bruce's auto parts staff has. I definitely will be back if I ever need anything else replaced on my car.
Awesome!! This is the Bass Pro of auto parts stores. Friendly folks and helpful. The young lady who was the cashier, actually came outside to give me an idea on how to swap my driver side mirror out. They sell tires and rims and just about anything you can think of. I will definitively be going back!!
A waste of a 9 hour round trip! Was looking for a bed for my truck, found one online at their location. The color I needed. I called and inquired about it. The guy I spoke with said the bed was in excellent condition! Came off a low mileage truck. I asked if it had any dents, dings or scratches. He said no but couldn’t guarantee there wasn’t any “parking lot dings” It’s an “A” grade. I’m not sure who came up with the industry’s grading system but it’s of no help.
First they had the stock numbers wrong. I knew they had two in the correct color. BOTH beds were at BEST a “B” grade. The one that I was supposed to get was worse than the one they brought up for me to look at.
They offered me $100 off. I wouldn’t have bought it for half off but I did see they lowered the price by $700 on car-parts.
I have a friend who owns a junkyard in DE and she told my that’s typically what they do.. LIE about condition.
Only positive was the woman working the counter. She was cool. I gave them an extra star for only that reason.

I thought that would take at least a month but they had my car ready in about two weeks and worked with me on my payments they were very understanding and reasonable prices for good quality work. Great part selection and great customer service. The differential I bought had signs of problems once I opened it up. They let me return it and swap it for another one on the lot for no additional cost and without a hassle. Thanks, I'll be back!
We ordered an AC compressor and it came super fast. We put it it our car and it works great! The price was a little higher than a few other places we called because they're the only ones charging core fee, but then again the other places were super hard to deal with. So we went with Bruce's and were not disappointed.
