I bought 2013 navy blue evo x from the auction and I straight shipped to Moore because they are the best evo specialist shop in DMV. Paul quickly showed me what’s going on with my car and we decided to build the motor. It’s long project and I know I’m gonna be taken care of after talk to Paul multiple times and I can’t wait to see the results.

Moore Automotive was Awesome!! A million thanks to Paul and Chris for taking the time to get my car running right again. The process went smooth and the best part of it they kept me in the loop throughout the process. I was informed of the diagnostic that where being done to pin point the potential issue until they solved it. I would definitely highly recommend them to any car enthusiastic. Terrible Experience – Do Not Recommend I brought my car to Moore Automotive, Inc. to repair my Fortune Auto 500 coilovers and paid $700 upfront. They promised to order the parts and perform the repair, but months later, the parts never arrived. I’ve called multiple times for updates, but they have completely stopped responding. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. I feel scammed and ignored. Save yourself the headache—take your car somewhere else.

Paul and Chris helped me truly diagnose my issue and saved me $4k from another shop that wanted to do a new tune on my GTR. They were able to diagnose the issue within an hour while another shop took 4-5 hours and came up with the wrong solutions. I really appreciated them thoroughly explaining the repair and providing general advice to me (who’s new to the tuning scene) for my car. I’ll definitely be returning if I run into future issues. Thanks again!

Chris flex fuel tuned my Evo X in a day after I had the motor rebuilt locally and he sorted out all the issues it had from the existing tune. He was also able to immediately identify the cause of a misfire (off brand plug and play injector adapter) that I don't think many people would be able to figure out as quickly as he did. Very happy I ended up going to Moore over a remote tune. Their expertise and quick turnaround time is well worth the slightly higher price than doing a remote tune.

Brought my Wrx here a long time ago but haven't been able to stop thinking about how great the service was. Out of the Subie game for now but for any tuner Car I get I'd bring it here, highly recommend!

Saw this shop came highly recommended from doing some research in Evo groups on Facebook. From the minute I left my car at their shop to the minute I picked it up i was very happy. Great communication. Great staff. Amazing shop. Quality work. Great advice from their team. It was 150% worth driving 2 hours to have my car worked on by this group of people. I will be bringing my car back in the future. Had some MD emissions issues which was fixed as well as getting some after market parts and a dyno tune.

Let me tell you once I got my Evo back it was a night and day difference. I got the car in rough condition and could have saved myself time, money, and headache by simply taking it to Moore immediately after I bought it and letting them work their magic. I just did the fifth or sixth oil change after about 10,000 reliable miles driving the car with the fresh engine their crew built for me. Not going to lie there were some hassles and delays getting my Evo IX fixed after I blew up the engine back in 2019. Bill closed the original shop right after I dropped it off, had to wait while they built a new one, then Covid. So it took over a year before I got the car back but that was mostly due to bad timing. Nobody plans to blow up their engine and then for a pandemic. There was also definitely some back and forth over parts and my budget, which went well over what I initially expected... That was my fault, I didn't really know what I wanted to do with the build but everything they recommended turned out great. They definitely guided me towards a more reliable streetable setup. And yes I do daily my Evo 7 days a week. The couple of times I've needed to take it back to the shop Nick and Chris were always great and helpful at figuring out what small part or tweak was required. I wouldn't take my Evo anywhere else!

My adventure with Moore Automotive started in 2012. I took my brand new Evo Mr.. to this place after I did a bunch of research to make sure I had the best place to work on my car. Right off the bat the staff was really friendly and showed us around the shop. I could go on and on about the staff and shop and the years I kept taking my car back to them to get more work done to it, but the main thing is, they built my evo perfect and the tuner Chris is top notch. I really believe that it all starts from the owners and Bill took care of my every need and he really went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with everything from the build to how his team treated me and even to making sure everything was ok once I got back to Ohio.. In my opinion this is the best shop anywhere hands down and to me customer service goes along way to getting the repeat customers. My evo will never go anywhere except Moore Automotive... Great group of guys....

If you go into any performance shop with a mindset that you know more about their craft than they do, I suggest you not waste that shops time and do everything yourself. When it comes to Moore Automotive, this logic also applies. Before leaving my 2011 EvoX GSR in the hands of the personnel at this facility, I did my research. Read reviews, read replies, asked plenty of questions. They are simple and ask you "what are you looking to do?". As this may seem to be an easy answer, when asked, it may come as a surprise to you that you have no clue really. With my platform, I can go many routes as this car is versatile. From spirited driving, drag, circuit, autocross and even the true nature of the car, rallying, plus a few others. You should never buy a bunch of parts and dump them Into a car and say "I'm just wanting x amount of hp and make it do cool fast n furious stuff!". Please have a seat as this is not the mentality to have when conducting business with Moore. Have a realistic goal and plan, plan, plan!!! With any vehicle learn what your car is truly capable of. "I saw a guy on somewhere make 1000hp on a stock block" is a lie and you should be smart enough to know that the possibility of this happening is unrealistic. If you talk to Bill, like I did, or any person there, you will be given information to help you achieve your goals alongside their recommendations. This is based off experience not your expectations. I started talking with Moore back in 2018. After COVID i was able to get in my appointment and after a 500mile break-in time with my new clutch, I have never loved my car more than when I first drove it off the lot. I am extremely impatient but they are even more patient with me and yet they set aside techs dedicated to your car for your build. I had underlying issues they pointed out and I green lit the fixes as I wanted my car to be in the best of conditions for how many miles are on it. I wanted my car to go fast but with no purpose. Now, my goal is to max out hp on pump gas. I trust this organization wholeheartedly with my car as they are experts and master of their craft. As I am military, I move a lot. When I'm ready for the next stages of my build, I will make the trip back to Moore Automotive to obtain my desired goals. The look on V8 owners faces when they can't keep up with a little ole 2.0 is priceless. Listen to your tuner/performance shop especially accredited ones on what to do. Spare them the back talk of what you think you know. Be realistic, be prepared, and most importantly be smart about your build. Thank you Moore Automotive for taking such great care of my car. Like many other Evo owners i reached out to Moore to fix some issues that another shop were having a difficult time with. They had the bugs diagnosed quickly and an estimate for the completion of the build that was reasonable. Turn around was pretty quick too. I will be reaching out to Bill and co for any more tuning or upgrading needs. I just wish they were closer to where I live!

I was finally ready to get my EVO X tuned and needed a few parts installed. I was trying to get the best bang for my buck and Bill talked me through some options and which direction to go. The entire team at the shop continued to answer all of my other questions in length and they did an awesome and super clean job getting everything put together. The tune is amazing and a big thanks to Nick for getting me a few pictures and a video from the dyno. When I’m ready for the next stage I’ll definitely be back for some help planning.

Awesome new shop guys. I recently had Moore Automotive, yet again, work on my 2008 Evo X because they are by far the most knowledgeable shop on the east coast when it comes to evos. They took the time to talk about concerns when it came to certain procedures when replacing the parts on the work I needed done. Moreover, they went above and beyond in doing some extra work that could've caused issues down the road. I spent more than initially anticipated, but in all honesty, it was well worth the peace of mind knowing it was done right.

Great group of guys I can trust for advice and work. Very helpful every time I call with any questions. Did an awesome job on my Evo x. Car has been running strong after my tune without any issues at all. I won’t let anyone else touch my car except them. Hands down best shop around.

I've had my Evo for six years, and I haven't been able to do any performance mods until lately. I had been in contact with Bill, and Chris well before I actually brought my vehicle to them. They were always super helpful ,and willing to answer any question I had. I took my car to them after having an incident with a DIY project. They fixed the issue, and continued my upgrades while also providing advice for upgrades that would give me the most bang for my buck. I have since got my car back, and it feels like a new vehicle with Moore power(pun intended) I still have a few things I need to fix and I will definitely be returning. If you value quality and care for your car, bring it to Moore.

After a local shop had mangled my buddies brand new wheels mounting tires on to them, I needed someone local I could trust to mount and balance my new wheels and tires I had just purchased. I gave Moore Automotive a call after my brother had told me the great experience he had with them and the work they did on his Camaro. I spoke to Bill over the phone and scheduled an appointment. He assured me that him and his team could mount and balance my wheels/tires without scratching them. I came in to drop the wheels and tires off and had the opportunity to meet Bill. I can't begin to express how professional and respectful Bill was. A standup guy and gentleman. I felt at ease leaving my $6,000 wheels/tires with him. Later that day I received a call that the wheels were done! I stopped by the shop and just as Bill promised, the wheels were perfect! No damage and no scratches! I'm so happy I found Moore Automotive. His employees are friendly and professional. They are master at what they do and their service and work illustrates this. Thank you Moore Automotive!!!

I highly recommend Moore Automotive to anyone looking to have mods or any work done to their cars. Moore Automotive has been my go to shop for years. They have done all the work on my Evo from upgrading the transmission to installing my new race motor. They have helped me out too many times to count and they really do treat their customers like family. If you want your car worked on properly and tuned efficiently, hands down this is the place to go!

I took my car for and alignment and to adjust my camber as I had too much, Moore automotive was extremely helpful and knowledgeable as I had multiple questions regarding mods, I have and evo with relatively low miles for the year and was skeptical about where to bring it because I wanted whoever worked on it to do a great job, Moore was extremely welcoming and I even got to see behind the scenes a little as most shops don’t let you. Huge shout out to Moore automotive for the excellent work and all around pleasant environment. I look forward to going back for more power!

Moore Automotive has provided exceptional customer service to not only myself, but to many others who frequently come back. Despite having an engine failure prior to their service, they provided detailed plans for my car; and preferred components for reassembly to ensure my goals and intent were met with the engine. Like with any service comes a price, and I believe Moore Automotive is extremely fair considering their expertise in the automotive field. Best Place to take your Evo, don't waste your time and money on other shops like I did. I originally blew up the motor in my Evo 8 in 2015 and hired a local shop that "works on evo's" to rebuild the bottom end and put the car back together. Long story short I had crank walk upon delivery and said shop refused to do anything about it, as well as the head said was fine wasn't. I after 6+ months of being put through the ringer picked up my car (in pieces and boxes) and dropped it off at Moore automotive...they did have a 2 month backlog before they could start and ran into alot of broken, missing, and improperly installed items that caused my original budget to go through the roof (but I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for) Paul bared with me being a pain in the rear, Bill and Susan were and continue to be great to deal with and Chris is a Jedi Master at tuning. My car put down 550 whp on pump gas. With a 2.3 Stoker, Ferrera Valves, GSC R2 Cams, 1300cc injectors and 93 octane tune. The car drives near stock for trips and then like a drugged demon when you get on it! They also handled installing the upgraded transfer case, transmission and axles. My only complaint is that it took about 6 months but with all the issues that are out of everyone's control in hind site its what it takes. If I could do it over again I would have dropped it off with Moore at the beginning and save about 10k in the build

The customer service I received from everyone across the board was amazing, they were happy to answer any questions or concerns I had. I can't thank them enough for getting my car done right on time for me. Carl's attention to detail was awesome while he installed all of the parts on my Evo X. absolutely the best experience I have ever had with any performance shop hands down. Paul, Chris, and Bill went over and beyond to ensure my car was 100% from the clutch install to the tune ! Bill even took me to return my rental car...I would highly recommend them and will certainly be back for more upgrades !!

Moore Automotive was recommended to me by a friend. I was hesitant at first as I did not believe a performance shop could fix my issues which a dealership has been trying to figure out for weeks. Little did I know that this would be one of the most pleasant experiences I will ever have with my vehicle. I brought them my vehicle with a multitude of issues that my dealership was struggling to figure out. Within a few days and at a much lower cost than the dealer my car was up an running with ZERO issues. Communication was great. They even showed me a few things that I will be replacing in the future. I am very happy and will be passing on the recommendation to all my friends.

Moore automotive and there staff have been a huge part of the buying and modding process of my new/used car which is a 2003 Lancer Evolution. When I first bought the car and knowing that there had been previous work done on it there, when asked they provided me with all of knowledge and service records They had for the car. Which made buying the car that much better and comfortable for me. I have since been there a few times myself with the car getting my general maintenance done. The five-star Services they provide and the knowledge they have on the Lancer Evolution and many other cars makes me super excited to work with them in the future and make my car faster and better than it is today. 👍🤓
