They had exactly what I had been searching for my 2003 vehicle. They only charged me the entrance fee. Great location and pretty safe for adults. Vehicles were probably marked and in the same auto class.

Jorge T. Was great. He was patient with me to figure out what i needed, then found the exact parts i needed and stayed in constant communication with me until all the parts were found. I highly recommend going there for your auto-parts needs.

They have prices for parts listed on line but when you call they don’t answer the phone. They are using a text system and then they charge you a different price other than what’s posted online. I have went to this yard plenty of times in the past and it’s always been ran poorly. The cars are to close together. The yard is a mud pit and very dangerous to walk thru after a rain. The staff treats you like you owe them something. I won’t be going back to this place for anything.

Horrible business don’t use them they will waste your time- told me it’d be ready to pick up in an hr and a half at 12:40, drove an hr from Richmond and left at 2 and got there at 3- guy says it’s not pulled yet and if I want to wait an hr it’ll be ready. I tell him I’ll be back in an hr and when I come back they tell me it’ll be ready tomorrow lol. I say no you told it’d be ready 2.5 hrs ago and I’ve already waited an hr and will be driving 2 hrs round trip. They say they’ll have it ready in ANOTHER HR. This has taken up my whole day now and I don’t even know if they’re going to actually get it off for me today

Having gone to a few “U-Pull” locations in the midwest area, I expected this location to be no different than the others I had experienced. I learned quite quickly that this was not the case. This company does not make it clear that they restrict the vehicles you can access to pull parts from. They do state that rows 900-999 are not U-Pick, but nothing about the starting rows also being restricted is detailed on their website. Imagine my surprise when I asked for directions to rows 4-6, where their inventory showed the exact models I wanted to see, only to be told I could not access that area? I was told I needed to see a salesman in the office and upon entering the office I encountered a salesman who seemed less than enthused that I had come in. Upon sending me to a model they had in an accessible area (back of their lot), I found the car completely bombed out with nothing usable for what I was looking for. At this point I departed for my journey home as I was traveling from out of state and no longer had the time nor the patience to wait for someone else to pull a part for me that I specifically brought tools for. I could have just as easily done that from my home and had it shipped as there are HUNDREDS of other companies that offer such a service. This company’s setup defeats the purpose of what a U-Pull is designed for. If your going to limit access to certain vehicles it should be made much more clear or don’t list the cars in your inventory as available for U-Pick. I am glad that I’m only out $2 and an hour of my time. If ever traveling again to VA and on a parts hunt, I will be actively avoiding this company no matter which location of theirs it may be.

I called the pick a part in Fredericksburg looking for a front bumper for my car and I called them once they said please hold. I’ve been on the phone for 24 minutes on hold. I hung up and I called back and someone answered and I asked if you have any front bumpers for a 2019 Honda Civic and he said no and just hung up on me while I was still talking.

Beware that on their website it says 900-999 are not part of u-pick vehicle but also other ones are as well. I drove a hour to get there and walked the whole yard before I was told this.

Don't waste your time with these guys. Clueless and unhelpful, cars listed that aren't there Customer service is absolutely worthless.

I am really not a fan of this junkyard. They have very high prices in comparison to local yards like Rupert's and it is not a very organized yard. The cars are put together very closely and in some cases you cannot even open a door to get inside of a car. With that being said, they do have a wide variety of cars and almost any part for any vehicle.

Extremely rude and very unprofessional staff working at this location. I called to ask a simple question and was repeatedly hung up on. Very rude and disrespectful

Woman was incredibly rude and needs to be fired! Her demeanor and attitude are unacceptable. First telling a customer “if you can read…” then well I politely said please don’t speak to me like this, she hung up on me. I definitely need a conversation with the owner(s) or managers. She also was picking up phone and hanging it up right way.

Went there to grab two air hoses 15 mins before they closing brought my daily tool bag that had old parts as I am a mechanic they then took my personnel property and acted as if they couldn’t do anything about it and said they need to mark when it comes in I have never had a issue complete thief’s I would not recommend this junkyard

Exactly what you'd expect. Search the site for what you need, Organized to the row. Grab your part and pay. It's Exactly what you'd expect. Well done.

Had to call twice to see if they had a part I needed. On the first call the person to answer took my info on the part I was looking for and placed me on hold. Two more people then picked up the phone then the call magically disconnected. The second call went better, the Spanish fella helped me and wasn't at this location. Imagine being a grown up full fledged adult and you need phone skills training at your job.

I would have given it more stars, due to quantity of vehicles, if not for the fact that the prices keep going up. I’ve had to stop buying certain things like ABSs ECMs headlights (all are close to $100 after tax’s and fees) etc.. I started getting those at other places instead. Steering pumps and amplifier prices keep creeping up as well. It feels like they are trying to compete with other yards who also keep raising their prices and I have also limited my purchases at those as well due to high prices. If you can find an old-school Junkyard with old school pricing go there first and use this place if they do not have what you are looking for.

One of the worst experiences I’ve had at a junk yard. The staff was completely unhelpful and unprofessional, especially the woman at the checkout counter. She was extremely arrogant and showed no interest in assisting customers. While I was asking a question during checkout, she didn’t even bother to respond or make eye contact. Her attitude was rude and disrespectful. It’s clear that customer service is not a priority here. I do not recommend this place to anyone looking for decent treatment or helpful service.

Tried calling this place dude kept putting me on hold and not being helpful at all, hung up twice and was just being unprofessional I’d like to talk to this guy in person, if he hates his job cool, but treating paying customers with disrespect is beyond me…

Prices have increased considerably at this location, in average 10% cheaper than buying a new OEM part online. Save your money and order the parts online, plus people working there are rude except the guy at the entrance (who gives you the location of vehicles), he was the only nice person working there.

Experts at wasting your time, they can’t help it, you can sense it over the phone and in the office, there number one goal is to waste your time. Called multiple days to track down a part and was on hold collectively over 30 minutes. Finally got the parts purchased and called the next day, representative said the parts are ready for pick up. Drove over an hour to pick them up and they say parts are not ready and not sure who you spoke with. If you call in for parts make sure you ask which location this is and who you are speaking with. Document it, or they will say you called wrong location let me transfer you, then you get transferred to a non working mail box. Multiple times got transferred to eventually they dropped the call. Not sure how they still operate.

This junk yard is very large has a lot of cars BUT the ppl there are not very helpful. The cars are not user / picker friendly . How is anyone supposed to get the part from the bottom of it if needed? A whole area is not up on any rims or tires. The only good parts some ppl need (me) you would have to pay almost new cost and not even warranted unless you buy one, so common greedy company trying to not help the low income ppl. Never go there again......

Henrry is great. I needed an engine for my 2004 Toyota Rav4 and they had 1 that I was interested in. I went in today and he let me go in the back to take a look at the engine. I wanted to open the oil cap and look inside. You can tell a lot about how well a car was kept up by how the inside of the motor looks. I thought about it on the way home and tried calling not long after pulling in my driveway(4:45pm), but they were already closed. Thats why their only only getting 4 instead of 5 stars. Every other yard around stays open until 5pm.

It took me almost 2.5 hrs to get my order. The guy operating the forklift who brought my transmission was so unhelpful. He brought me a very wet dripping transmission. Others helped me to put it to my trunk. After I took it to the repair shop they found it dirt inside it and couldn’t clean it. I have one month warranty to replace it. I’m here again to update my review: Unlike the other time it took me some minutes to return and got the replacement transmission with 10k miles higher than the previous purchase but not price change. This time I met all nice people.

Wow. Is there another Pick-A-Part on Jefferson Davis Hwy I missed because I obviously haven't gone to the one all the people giving this place 1 and 2 stars have been at. I will say that is IF you are a fairly decent home mechanic and know what you are doing. This place is a extremely large yard and they turn the vehicles over often so if you have a fairly common car you will most likely have many to choose from. If you want customer service and someone to pull the part for you I can't speak to that as I have never had need for either. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because if it's rained the place becomes a mud pit and if it's hasn't rained in a long time there is a fine powdery dust that covers everything

This place is huge and the staff is extremely friendly. I went there looking for F-150 left 250s which they had a list of on there website but when I got there I found out there in a private section the 900s so I was a little disappointed. Everything there is covered in dust and beat up pretty good. But if you like going to junk yards it was definitely one worth stopping at.

Walk in the door. Not one person behind the counter acknowledged that I was standing there. They clearly saw me because they looked me dead in my eyes. Then they proceeded to be rude to each other. It's not worth the hassle if you want good customer service. I'd suggest taking your business somewhere else. Perhaps online!

Alot of the vehicles are totaled completely with zero parts salvageable so can be a big waste of time going, but with consistent visits I have had some luck and saved myself a lot of money. Bring the right tools and a cart if you got one so if you strike your ready to remove/haul what your getting back upfront to pay. Definitely worth checking out if you need cheap parts, also pay attention or ask about how they have the rows of vehicles organized to save yourself time searching. Always call ahead to see if they even have your vehicle type on the yard at the moment.
