The transport driver was professional and personable - much more pleasant and helpful than one expects in the car transport business. He had tools to remove the license plates, which I had forgotten at home.
They give you pretty limited info on the company that will actually pick your car up even when you ask then they send someone who speaks no English to try to explain what’s going on. Talk about suspicious!! After holding onto the title, refusing to give it to him and making several phone calls, I finally figured out he was legit But wow, want to talk about an unpleasant process!! I sure hope you speak Spanish because I sure don’t!!
The experience was less enjoyable than it could have been for two reasons. 1) while the phone operators were very polite, their accents made it very difficult to understand them. 2) I went through several iterations of completing paperwork because clear instructions were not given upfront and one small error after another had to be corrected., extending the process over several days. I recommend much better and more detailed instructions be provided right from the start.
