My boyfriend and I broke down on 95S yesterday around 6 pm. I called Michael’s towing and Doug was out to us in less than 45 mins! Poor guy’s dinner was interrupted but he was super quick and efficient with getting us and our car to the dealer!!! Thank you Michaels and Doug for rescuing us so quickly!!!!
Driver needs to learn how to drive. Turned onto a side street and couldn't stay in his lane at all, turned into TWO opposite lanes, nearly hitting me head on. If you can't maintain your lane, don't operate the truck.
The towtruck driver was standoffish...my car was totaled he didn't even speak Sgt Griffin was who gave me the towing companies card..they have 2 locations it would have been a nice gesture that the driver would have said which location they were taking it to..so I had to track it down on my own..then it was towed to Co Parts where the adjuster estimated the damage..when I arrived to pick up my personal effects & tags. Someone from the towing company had stolen my handheld phone charger from the enclosed console and had emptied the glove box which had some documents that I needed..The Mgr at Co Parts checked the inventory room nothing appeared. I promptly contacted the tow company and the employee who answered the phone was very rude and condescending said he would look into it...took my nbr said he would call me back which I already knew wouldn't just because of his attitude

State troopers called this company on our broke down truck. Not gonna mention ridiculous price (police needs to get paid too), but the way the tow driver treats you is ridiculous. We asked to tow truck to shop, he said no i'm towing you to gas station, ignorant, disrespectful and like he said "Well you stuck with me".
These folks are very professional and fast. We broke down on I-95 around 10PM. One call to them and we had two trucks at our location within 15 minutes. They had our truck and camper off the interstate in less then 1 hour from our breakdown. We got towed to a Walmart super center. They where unable to help us fix the truck there so after making several calls we found a car dealer to help and Michaels picked us up from Walmart and got us to the dealer to get our repairs done. If you ever have an issue in or near Fredericksburg VA call these guys. They are the best.
My experience couldn't have gone better giving the circumstances of a broken-down car on the interstate. They answered my call within the first ring and provided a driver right away. I was informed about the timeframe in which I could expect a driver and I even got a follow up call from the driver, Michael that he was in route. I felt really comfortable that my broken down vehicle was in great hands. Very professional, quick and fair.
My car got towed from a friends apartment while in a designated parking area. $200 to get my car out, when I was gone less than 3 hours. Extremely rude.
Fabulous service when I needed my large, unwieldy grooming van towed due to two rear flat tires. Explained what they were doing and were cheaper than the first quote I got, which was a surprise. I went with them because of a friend's recommendation, and I'm very glad I did. They definitely know what they're doing with larger vehicles with special issues.
Michael's towing came through for me when I was stranded on the side of I-95. My insurance company was trying to call a company more than two hours away and their team was able to get there within 20 minutes. They went above and beyond by helping me locate a tire shop with my specialty tire in stock who could also replace it before closing.
Tractor trailer broke down on i95. Kevin from Michales Towing not only arrived quickly but was also very professional. He also helped me find someone local to where I was headed to drop off my loaded trailer to deliver it for me later on that evening. Great service and it was a fair rate. Legit saved my hide when my life, rv, and truck were in shambles ok the side of i95. It wasn't cheap but they were fast, professional, and even able accommodate a little.
First impression was great. Had to have one of my techs truck towed from Woodford to Manassas early in the morning. They were friendly and prompt. Definitely recommend.
I was out of town and someone plowed into my car totalling it. It was parked in my apartment complex where I live. They had it towed to Michael's and when I returned home I went to get my belongings from the car. I was told to retrieve my tags as well, by the I insurance company. They refused to let me get my personalized tags. My insurance company, the insurance company of the one who hit my car and the police officer all told me there was no reason for them to refuse me my tags. Everything was closed so I had to wait for 3 days to call and find out where my car was. Then I had to drive 40 miles round trip to pick them up when I could have gotten them when I was at Michael's which was 3 miles from my home. Not to mention, I had to sign a paper saying that I personally would be responsible for payment even though it was covered by insurance. When I said I needed my tags the attendant said they belonged to the car, not me. Guess he thought he worked for DMV as well. They are registered to me not the car. That's why you can transfer them. After everything that happened through no fault of my own, I didnt need this total bull. I wouldn't recommend them to pick up a dead dog. Very rude employees. Michael may want to rethink who he hires. Must be family members. If in the area I would definitely recomend JKJ transport, not Michael's.
Michael is an awesome guy that helped my family when we really needed it. He's an honest hard worker who deserves 100 times the business he gets. Everyone should go through him for their towing needs. I'd give 10 stars if I could.
Story is i got rear ended and car was totaled. We had AAA so it got towed a couple miles to the nearest shop. The shop couldn't take it and without question Michael found us a new place and gave amazing advice on how the whole process would work. He was extremely knowledgeable. I lived an hour away and couldn't make it to get the tags and stuff from the vehicle and he personally held it for me so I could grab it when I was available.
Highly recommend this company! My car broke down and Mike from this company was there in less than 30 minutes. He got my car from point A to B with no problem and was very friendly as well as professional the whole time! Very great service for a decent price! Thank you!

We were moving halfway across the country when we had terribly unexpected vehicle problems in the middle of the night. Michael's towing sent 2 truck to pick up our truck & trailer and our family plus dog. Greg was amazing and went above and beyond and even called the next day to see if we were able to get things straighten out at the shop we ended up going to. He also recommended another shop in the area that we ended up having fix our truck. Our family is extremely please with the kindness & willingness to help us & offer recommendations and solutions to our problems. Highly recommend!!!

Never use Michael's Towing!! They are one of the most dishonest, careless, and irresponsible tow companies I've ever had to deal with. Right away they put a lien on my title even though they had contact from my insurance agent within 24hrs of having my vehicle as well as a claim number. Then, they confiscated my tags without my permission and told me I couldn't have them until they were paid in full. Mind you, they already filed a lien on my title, as well as my vehicle being worth well over and beyond what they could possibly be owed, but maybe that was the point?? When I go to collect my tags, my tags are no where to be found, and they finally admit they gave them to someone else!! They are such awful business owners that they don't know who the tags were given to or how to locate this person! After having close to week to sort their mess, they decided to change their story to blame us!! Their story is now, because we couldn't make it there the day they called us, they took our tags to the DMV and we have to deal with them. Such bold faced liars!! I can prove that they are liars b/c I know exactly where my tags ended up, how they got there, and it's absolutely not the DMV!! So the truth was his first story, but to save face, Michael's Towing tried to pass the blame to us instead! Michael's Towing, you should be ashamed of yourselves, you are the reason the workers of the tow industry are regarded so negatively!!
My rating is about how they took a call where I wanted to let them know how someone was driving in one of their trucks. On 9/28/18 I called them at 8:26 AM. I let the person answering know one of their drivers traveling down Harrison Road that rubbernecked traffic crossing Gordon Road to the intersection of Old Plank Road. He also rode the car in front of high very closely. Dangerously close. The guy that took my call wanted my name and number. I had blocked my caller ID. I told him I didn’t want to provide it and his response was to tell me then the information won’t be passed on and hung up. Bad business to want information like that or refuse to take action or pass on the complaints. I gave the plate ID and description of how their driver was representing them in public with the impression they aren’t ok with that. The guy that took my call couldn’t care less if he didn’t get my personal information. For all I know he’s the drivers personal friend and I’d just be harassed with calls or worse. That’s bad business and I’ll never use them.
Today I had the unfortunate luck to lock my keys in my car. I was able to pay with my credit card info through email since my card was unaccessible, and I paid less than half of what several other companies quoted. Not even 10 minutes after I called, Kevin was pulling up in a beautiful truck and had my car open in less than 5 minutes. I completely recommend this company for those moments when you are stuck and need assistance with your car.

He took very good care of my luxury sport sedan. The car is AWD, and the young man knew how to handle it. For a bigger guy, he handled my car with kid gloves. Like it was his own. Can’t say enough about Michaels towing. This is the 4 tow from them and I would prefer to use nobody else.

I work at Little Tire Co and we do business with Michaels Towing on a regular basis to service my customers, I also use them personally and have always on every occasion personal or business related always been very impressed. Today my children locked us out of our own truck while out fishing in the middle of nowhere... they showed up fast as can be and got out of of a jam on a holiday (father’s day). We were cruising up 95 the other day when we heard a helicopter descending on our vehicle. The sound, it turned out, was from a blown-out rear tire.
We pulled over and began to change out the flat for the spare. But in the process I managed to shear off two of the lugs. It was a hairy situation, we were returning from a heavy duty veterinary visit with our border collie who was uncomfortable as he was recovering from sedation.
At the recommendation of a friend in the towing business (he was out of town) we called Michael’s. Our driver, Dom, arrived in about twenty minutes. I’ve never seen a tow arrive that fast before. He was a total pro and a very pleasant guy to boot. We were rigged up in no time and he quickly got the three of us to our neighborhood garage. That’s two adults and a woozy pup. The ride was nice and the service was great. I can’t be sure all the drivers at Michael’s are as good as Dom, but his service was excellent and he certainly made everyone else look good. Recommended!

He (Michael, the owner) came out in no time at all and he was extremely pleasurable to speak to while he was getting it going. What a great guy, he was so helpful, realized I was a little panicked and was able to help us find an auto parts shop and hotel for the night.
