Their heavy wrecker tow operator went above and beyond for us on the side of the road, he took the time to teach us a trick that will absolutely help us in the future. There’s nothing fun about being broken down and surely nothing fun about dealing with us people in that situation I’m sure. However this operator showed true enjoyment for the profession and turned a negative into a much appreciated positive for us. 100% recommend in your time of need, thank you all at Sullivans!
In 90+ ° temps , 14Jul25 at rush hour on I95 NB our Subaru Forester was struck by a driveshaft that had flown off of a drilling truck in front of us and completely disabled our undercarriage. The 1st towtruck refused to take us 2 hrs away to a collision place near our home.
Luckily, the sheriff contacted Rigo M from Sullivans Towing. He was a godsend. His cab was nice and cool and fit the 3 of us with all our luggage. That time with Rigo flew by and we want to say he was a breath of fresh air. Thank you Rigo!

very professional amazing service! i fell asleep when the driver came to tow my car was there for about 30 mins trying to wake me up but i didnt i was really tired but when i woke up a hr or 2 later i called and the same driver came again and was cool very helpful and understanding i dont remember getting the drivers name i think but he 100% deserves a raise!

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever worked with. Wasted 1hr 30mins of my time to tell me that their truck had broken down and then still charged me a cancellation fee after telling me to wait another hour to send a truck from another service. Do not work with these scammers and they were going to charge twice of much as their competitors. What a scam no one reviews this company well and they charge remind you several times to not cancel on them so they can cancel on you and charge you for it.
I always have a great experience with this company. I used them and past and they will always be my go to tow company. Shawn was my tow driver this morning and he's awesome. He took such great care of my classic car.
We were broken down on the side of I95 in a small RV. No one in the area had the capability to tow us and we were getting desperate. We finally called Sullivan and they were able to tow us with a reasonable rate AND they were there in 30 minutes. Professional and friendly.
Regrettably, my recent experience with Sullivan's Towing & Recovery was far from pleasant. An unexpected vehicle issue led to a car crash, and following a state trooper's call, we had no choice but to use their services. From the start, the older gentleman who arrived with the towing truck was rude and dismissive, showing a clear lack of professionalism and customer care. This unhelpful attitude meant we couldn't obtain necessary information about pricing or procedures on the spot.
After a day of inconvenience due to the vehicle needing to be towed to their shop, the next morning's interaction with a young man named Blaine provided a welcome change. However, any positivity was overshadowed by the exorbitant fee of $475 for a tow covering less than 5 miles. Additionally, their inflexibility in allowing someone else to collect the vehicle on my behalf was frustrating, as was the steep quote of over $600 for leaving the vehicle an extra day since I was 2 1/2 hours away.
Upon arriving at the shop, the indifference displayed by the older woman at the front desk and the abrasive demeanor of the towing driver further highlighted the poor customer service.
This was especially disappointing given the positive reviews the establishment has received in the past. My experience fell far short of satisfactory, and I hope it wasn't influenced by any demographic differences.
In conclusion, I strongly advise considering alternatives to Sullivan's Towing & Recovery. While individuals like Blaine exhibit great customer service, the overall experience was lacking. I hope Blaine and other younger staff members can maintain their professionalism in an otherwise disappointing establishment.
My dump truck broke down at night and Chris B with Sullivan‘s towing gave me a tow to a repair yard. He arrived quickly and was extremely professional. He was careful and respectful not to cause any further damage to my truck. Highly recommend this driver and company for any towing needs. The price is worth it you’ll be in great hands.
When our truck died yesterday and we had waited several hours in vain for roadside service from our insurer, we called Sullivan's. They gave us a price and arrived within 15 minutes. Sean the driver called us at home to be sure he had the right destination, then emailed us an invoice to submit for insurance claim. Fair price, quick service, thorough details. (Sean walked both of us to another vehicle in that icy area!)

I broke down when the clutch became fried on my pickup truck. I called Sullivan's and Mr. Daniel sent someone out within 10 minutes. My driver, Mr. Raysean, carefully loaded my truck and got me safely home. The price I was told over the phone was honored at drop off. Later that evening, I called back to schedule a pickup for the following morning so I could get the truck to the dealer. 5 minutes prior to the scheduled pickup, the wrecker was at my house. The driver securely collected my truck, and he even added dollies because I had a winch. He delivered my truck to the dealer and carefully unloaded it. I highly recommend Sullivan's Towing & Recovery.
Called them after I broke down beside the road. Couldn't come immediately due to 2 tows ahead of me, but gave me a time he'd be there and take to my house. Excellent service and did everything he promised. Took care of my vehicle and treated it with respect. Definitely 5*****, Definitely recommend and most definitely use again. Plus didn't try to kill me on the price
My car broke down on my way home to Baltimore called and talked to dispatch and they sent a driver out. he showed up in great time was very professional and friendly. Shaun did a great job and didn't complain about the long distance tow I highly recommend this company and driver. Price was way less than any other company I called all these 1 star reviews are people who hate this company or work for another
So I managed to get my dodge 3500 with my fifth wheel attached stuck in my own driveway 9:30 at night. I called local tow trucks to help and got excuses to why they can't help. Or the other companies flat out didn't answer the phone even tho they are 24/7. Sullivans was the only one to answer and send help right way. Had me on my way within 20 minutes of arriving. Thanks for the rescue.
My car broke down on I-95 late on a Sunday night. I called Sullivan's and told it would be about a 35 minute wait. Kayla came early, and had my minivan towed right away. She dropped off the car at a local service station and took me to a near by Wawa where I waited for my ride home, concerned for my safety waiting at a closed service station at night. Great service. Great price. I would use again if needed! Thank you Sullivan's!
These people were so kind. We are not from the area and when our rental was totaled they let us stay in their office for over an hour until we figured out better accommodations. Additionally, we were pretty beat up from the accident and couldn't transport our stuff from one car to the other. So the staff helped us move our belongings from one vehicle to the other. We are so thankful for them :-)
This location tries to price gouge you. They ended up telling me one price and then try to change the price when insurance was going to get involved. If you state a price that is reasonable to the customer you should not flip flop and change it. Also, if insurance does pay. It shouldn't be more than what you're asking. The representative even told me that you were charging more than usual. Overall the service was okay. But the driver shouldn't suggest that where you're taking the car is not the best place to do the maintence service (flat tire, bad engine) The customer knows best! Thinking people are stupid.
Kevin is the man. I have used sullivans several times now and I always request Kevin. I have had 2 of my dump trucks towed by them and even had them assist me in putting an engine in one of my dump trucks. Their prices are on the upper end but hey you get what you pay for. I'm satisfied with the services. Thanks.
My father had an accident with a uhaul truck. Sullivan’s where awesome and went above and beyond to help us switch trucks and get back on the road. They where a God send for us and I recommend them 100%! The entire crew was helpful, friendly and down to earth!
Do not use Sullivan's Towing, they will rob you blind. I used them to tow my vehicle 18 miles and was charged $160. My vehicle needed to be towed back home from the shop they dropped it. I called another company to tow it back home 18 miles and it was just $60. So you tell me why the price was such a big difference. I could have got a round trip from the other company and had money left over. You got me this time but never again.
I called Sullivan's to help me when a truck carrying a shipping container got stuck in the process of delivering the container. They were helpful, extremely timely (the heavy wrecker arrived about 5 minutes after I called) and quite reasonable. Kevin, the driver, was knowledgeable, safe, and helpful on a cold January night. Based on my one experience, I would absolutely recommend them and will be calling if I ever require their services again.
I was stuck on the road for hours after other tow companies either refused or lied and never showed to help me. I finally called Sullivan’s, they were polite, timely, professional, and very empathetic to my situation! The tow driver was a true credit to the company! He deserves a raise!! He was extremely helpful and had the best customer oriented service throughout the process. This was at 3AM too! I will use them only from now on and I highly recommend them to anyone stranded on the side of the road no matter the time of night!!

After a difficult experience with another tow truck, it was a relief to work with Sullivan's. Driver named Pete was fast, professional, and ensured my car was well handled. I would definitely recommend and work with these guys again.
Company is a shame! I have been in the military for over 27 years and watched our own units tow multiple vehicles, but the service representative was a novice at best. Destruction of property to include our driveway, miss representing their pricing structure and poor communication describes my interaction. After over 2-hours on what was described as an easy job by the own the scene driver, he called a partner for help to tow his truck after getting stuck himself then he doubled the price of his original quote to cover his incompetence... Again, all when the first driver to the scene described the job as easy and within the $150 quoted to move a vehicle stuck in my backyard... After the two drivers privately spoke with each other... they determined the price would be $350. Yes, after over a $1000 worth of damage to my property. Beware before calling this company... There are more honest options in the Fredericksburg area!
Highly recommend!! My car was not easy to retrieve after losing all power and being stopped in a bad spot. Justin did an amazing job not only picking up my vehicle but also placing it PERFECTLY in my driveway. I mean the precision was impeccable, WOW!
My car unexpectedly broke down in almost 100 degree weather. I had my 3 kids with me and was already having a rough day. One of those, it's one thing after another, type days. And Sullivan's really came through for me, great customer service on the phone and in person.
I don't hope to need towing service often, but if I ever do, I will not even think of calling anyone else.

Great experience! Showed up within the appointed time. My vehicle was in a tricky spot, and Dustin was able to get it onto the truck with no damage to my vehicle. Very smooth, 20 minutes tops. He took great care to minimize damage to my driveway and yard! Would definitely recommend, quick service, reasonable price, and courteous. Make sure to ask for Dustin!
After having a flat tire and no lug wrench to remove it, I had to call a tow company. Sullivan's responded very quickly and had my spare on in no time. Great driver. This enabled me to go get the tire plugged and on my way I went. Just had to say thanks so much!
Wow! What a life saver! I was stranded while traveling back to Maryland from Virginia. No other towing company that I called would tow me that far. Sullivan’s did. Dustin (my driver) was so professional, he towed my car to the auto shop in Maryland and took me home. He also checked my vehicle over and informed me that my car had leaked oil and was almost out of oil (even though my auto service shop in Maryland had just given me an oil change). I would highly recommend this company if you are ever in a bind. I am safe at home now ( as a single female it is great to have a company like this to depend on when in need).
