A very small rural shop with one mechanic/owner who is knowledgeable and direct. He works on farm equipment as well as old cars and trucks. He has a state inspection license but since it is a one man operation you may have to wait or leave the vehicle. It's probably best to call ahead.
My husband was in an accident this morning and totaled his car. The State Trooper called for a tow truck and we had zero say or heads up as to who was coming to tow the car. The tow truck got there and the driver seemed extremely inexperienced and gave off a feeling of not knowing what he was doing. By the time he got there most of the debris had already been cleaned up by my husband and the rescue squad, the tow driver picked up a few pieces of trash including the front bumper and just threw them onto the truck/in the car. We then proceeded to drive to our house approximately 5 miles away and the driver followed us to drop the car off at our house. Once we arrived, my husband went up to pay the driver and was quoted a price of $450 for less than 10 miles of towing. The driver then proceeded to argue that what he was doing was legal and not price gouging against my black police officer husband who was not in uniform at the time and my retired police father. When informed we did not have $450 in cash to pay him he started to try and pressure us into signing the title over to him so that he could scrap the car, essentially stealing our vehicle. I am beyond angry, this man showed zero empathy for the fact that my husband almost died this morning nor the fact that many people are still suffering economically due to the Covid pandemic/lockdowns. Do not use their business, they will attempt to price gouge and blackmail/pressure you if you don't go with what they want. If I could give negative stars, I would.
Called to get a heater core replacement and got a reply "I don't do heater core's much" and hung up. I guess if you want some work done, make sure it is basic and that you are willing to work with terrible customer service.
