This place is an adorable hidden gem. Super clean and cozy rooms and was able to fit a pack and play in a double bed room. Right off of the blue ridge. Everything was so easy and accommodating. The breakfest was the best!!

We have not stayed at Tuggles Gap since it had been updated. It is so clean now and Breakfast is also included with your stay. Did I mention it’s right at the Blue-ridge Parkway? We will be staying here again.

I stayed in a room with 2 double beds. Beds were so soft & pillows fluffy. The room was clean & had small refrigerator & microwave. My stay was cut short but I would definitely stay there again! I also was able to bring my dog which is very important to me. It's also very close to Blue Ridge Parkway.

Tuggle’s Gap Roadside Inn is not to be missed when exploring the Blue Ridge Parkway. This classic Inn has been meticulously renovated and they did an awesome job with every single detail. Whether staying for a night or longer in order to explore the area I highly recommend staying here!

Very nice retro motor court that was updated nicely inside. Quiet road. Henry was fantastic. Husband left wallet in room. Owner called immediately to let us know. Henry took the initiative to meet us in a nearby town to return the wallet with all contents intact. Highly recommend this motel for a good experience. Good breakfast.

This reservation was made out of convenience BUT the next stay will be on purpose. This little gem of a stay was so perfect. First, it’s right off the Blue Ridge Parkway and the rooms are so well thought out with the simplicity and clean crisp lines. So clean, so efficient. Then there’s the real breakfast food! Lastly, but certainly not least- the hospitality was above and beyond!

This stop was arranged out of convenience but quickly became one of my all time favorite stops ever (and I’m well traveled)! The room was, as you’d expect, clean and efficient but that’s where the ‘expectations’ end and the above and beyond begin. The room design and layout were so simple and elegant at the same time. Every detail was well thought out and executed with great precision. The hospitality from the freshly prepared breakfast to the genuine hospitality was so satisfying and welcoming. The price and the view were spot on. I can’t recommend this place enough. I’ll be back again- the next time it will be because of the experience of the first time.

This motel is a great hidden gem! It’s been completely renovated but kept its charm. We especially loved the beds (so comfy!) and the heater worked quickly and was whisper quiet. WiFi was great. Tons of TV channel choices. Great for a quick getaway. Just a little traffic noise but I swear it adds to the charm! See you again in the spring!

Very clean, comfortable, and up-to-date rooms in an old-fashioned motor-lodge format. Appreciated access with the electronic door locks instead of checking in to get a physical key. Breakfast was great and close to par with a good bed-and-breakfast.

Such a great stay! The owner is very accommodating and cooked us up a breakfast free of charge that rivals that of fancy hotels! Service is fantastic, rooms are really nice, and right off the parkway ?

This place is a real hidden gem! Set in an old gas station, it has a few charming rooms built right alongside, giving it a unique and memorable character. The rooms are newly renovated and smell wonderfully of fresh wood. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the bathrooms are clean, modern, and well-appointed—everything you need for a relaxing stay. Breakfast here is a true highlight. It’s homemade and prepared personally by one of the staff, giving it a warm, personal touch that you don’t often find in hotels. Every morning felt special. The location is perfect for anyone traveling along the BRP, making it a great stop for both convenience and atmosphere. With its cozy charm, great comfort, and excellent breakfast, this place is highly recommended. Definitely a spot worth discovering!

Great little historic roadside Inn. The rooms are newly remodled and clean. Every room has a mini-split for heat/cool. Rooms are also finished in knotty pine with cable TV, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and secure wifi. Bathroom is clean and showers are warm. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Great stay at Tuggle's Gap! Both gentlemen on the property were kind and accommodating. Our room was spotless and comfortable, and breakfast was great! Even some very good coffee, which we discovered they roast themselves. Lastly, Nick lit up some logs in the fire pit for us and left plenty more to get us through the evening. We'll be back!

Cute place to stop while road-tripping the blue ridge parkway! Room was clean, breakfast was good, and the place has a nice historic charm to it! Short drive from town of Floyd. Great and convenient place to stay for anyone driving the blue ridge parkway!

The room was comfortable, quiet, cozy and clean. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect, too! Just off the Blue Ridge Parkway and 10 minutes to Floyd. Breakfast was REAL eggs, bacon and sausage and delicious!

Our overnight visit at this inn was excellent. The rooms have been fully updated and are very clean and comfortable. The inn is just a few miles from the town of Floyd. The views of the Blue Ridge Mountains at the location are spectacular. Breakfast is included with your stay; nice breakfast. Check in and check out are done remotely with phone texts.

Tuggle's Gap Roadside Inn is a great place to stay. It's been recently renovated and is very clean and well maintained. It had all of the amenities I needed with excellent wifi, fridge and microwave, along with a very tasty breakfast the next morning. The location is perfect too with the entrance to the Blue Ridge Mountain just yards away. I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in the area.

Quaint and charming - we love Tuggles Gap Roadside Inn! The renovation makes for a comfortable stay and our complimentary breakfast was delicious. Kudos to the cook! Already looking forward to next visit. ?

Stopped here for an overnight stay on a 2 day motorcycle trip. Making the reservation the week before was easy. Check in was contactless and easy. Staff is super nice and easy to contact. Room was small (not too small) but very clean and had everything we needed. Sitting on the porch in the evening was peaceful. There is a firepit, but it was raining the night we were there... so no fire for us. Comp made to order breakfast in the morning was delicious.

It was a wonderful experience. We loved the atmosphere and location. Thought it was absolutely immaculate, quaint and great beds. The rooms were spotless. You can’t judge a book by its cover. The breakfast was very good and loved the small community atmosphere. Meet some great people.

What a gem, right off of the blue ridge parkway ♥︎ Clean and recently renovated rooms, a quaint and rural location, friendly management, and a wholesome breakfast. I especially loved that rooms are code-locked so you don't have to worry about having a key. I will definitely keep this location in mind for the future.

This place reminded me of the motels we would stay in when I was a kid (I'm 77).||It's obvious that the Innkeeper(s) have poured themselves into bringing this old timey oasis into the 21st century. It was spartan and the parking lot might need some restoration but our room was clean and quiet, the bed was comfy and the TV and internet worked perfectly. The cafe offered breakfast included in the room price and a 7:30 text from Nick asking what we would like him to cook for our breakfast was a pleasant surprise. We were hoping that the cafe would be open for more than breakfast but such. is not the case. ||I'm pretty sure that the disaster caused to the general area by Hurricane Helene has been a real financial setback for little businesses like Tuggles Gap and we wish Nick all the success in the world in recovering. Do your part...instead of supporting big chain hotels and motels, look for an opportunity to support the little small businesses along the Blue Ridge. It may just mean their survival.

Check in was a snap with the door code provided via text. The room was small and spartan but clean and the bed was comfortable. Received a text the next morning from Nick asking what we would like for breakfast which was included in the price of the room. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Hope that sometime in the future that the cafe is up and running full bore.

This is a very cozy and nostalgic Inn. Overnight stop on our way to Hilton Head Island. The room was very clean, and a perfect spot to lay our heads after a day of traveling. We wrapped up the evening with a visit to Floyd Country Store and Outer Space before returning to our room for the night. Breakfast buffet was good - all you need for a good start to the day! Near beautiful Mountain Views in Blue Ridge Parkway!

Perfect place to stop over, for some quick R&R. The rooms are lovely with everything you need, and the in room coffee is delicious! Our host was lovely and made us a perfect homemade breakfast! Their store is wonderful with a nice mix of keepsakes and resupply options, a perfect stay!

The newly renovated rooms were fantastic. We really enjoyed the quality breakfast the morning of our departure. The young lady making the breakfast was super polite and kind. Overall great experience and will definitely stay again if near Floyd, VA.

Great experience! Establishment has a lot of history.. used to be a gas station , restaurant, … We traveled for a concert never venue and had a wonderful stay. Quiet environment, easy self check in, room clean, recently renovated, and the bed was very comfortable! We enjoyed our morning coffee outside with a scenic view. The owner, Nick cooked all the guests a delicious full breakfast. We will definitely return.
