Big time customer service in a small country town! Blink and you’ll miss Catlett. However, we do have a traffic light, and Dave’s (what our family calls Catlett Service Center) is just down from the intersection. Dave is someone we trust, and his prices are fair. We’ve had our share of bad experiences with service center chains where their motive seems to be finding something wrong or trying to up-charge you in some way. Dave is really too busy with all his regular customers, to be creating more work for his garage. That’s hard to find in this type of business and our economy. Dave usually has bags of chips available for customers, and he has a coke machine with the coins provided for customers! He also treats his mechanics very well. The waiting area doesn’t sparkle like some service centers, but it’s cozy, and there’s usually an old black and white show on the television like Bonanza or Petticoat Junction for you to enjoy.
Incredibly nice and helpful! I have been here several times and they have even gotten me in last minute and with a lot of grace. They were even able to get me in today for a battery replacement right before the Thanksgiving Holiday! Truly so grateful to have them in our tiny town!
Horrible old lady at the front desk, no communication skills, and hung up on me. It was so bad that I had my car towed elsewhere. They damaged my car too. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.
Called this morning to try to get help with a tire, the OWNER was who I spoke to. She hung up on me multiple times, spoke extremely rude to me when I was unable to find the correct tire number and needed assistance, and told me to “find my own tire” when I asked for help. I would absolutely never speak to a client the way I was spoken to today. I am a fellow business owner, and can tell you that this is not the way it’s done.
As far as the last review of the front desk staff being rude. I think you may have been over sensitive. We love this place. Honest, hard working, fair prices. A great local company. But definitely not the place for overly sensitive people.
We got there as a friend recommended it - the first desk lady was instantly very rude and standoffish. The mechanic was nice. We asked for an inspection and asked them to call us if it wasn’t going to pass so that we could pick it up first. They failed it without even calling us. Will not be returning here.
Just had the oil changed and tires rotated. My boyfriend and his Mom have taken their cars here for years. I have heard nothing but positive feedback about them.

I have been using this service center for my family's vehicles for about 4 years now. Catlett Service Center is Fantastic. My 11 year old abused Chevy Trail Blazer is running Fantastic and sounds like it will be going for many more miles to come. THANK YOU CATLETT SERVICE CENTER!
Dave (owner of Catlett Service Center) has been taking care of our vehicles for about ten years. He has done a great job. His prices are reasonable, and his workmanship is professional. We usually buy used vehicles with some miles on them; and I am confident that Dave's skill in keeping them repaired (along with God's grace) is one reason they last well beyond anyone's
normal expectations.
