I broke down on a back road pretty far from anything except a closed country store. I called and dispatch sent someone right away. Jacob promptly showed up with an extended cab rollback so that my kids car seats and my kids could ride with us and my crewcab dually could also. Price was very fair and I've always had to find someone else to pick my kids up before.
I had a great experience with Hook-N-Up. I called and left a message. They got back to me right away. After speaking with them, my truck was picked up 30 minutes later and safely dropped at the repair shop. I would use them again
No one wants to have their car towed but if you need to have your car towed this is the company to do it. They went out of their way to help us out. First, we got there outside of business hours but they offered to come out and meet us they were there in less than five minutes. Second, the reason for the tow was traumatic for my mom they showed empathy and offered advice for next steps. They were patient and kind. If i could give 10 starts I would.
BEWARE!! These people are crooks and money hungry! They will tow your car for now reason then add bogus fees that they make up on top of your towing charge. And if you live in a low income housing, they stalk the parking lot for expired tags and cars without a visitors pass. I feel sorry for the people that live there and are being taken advantage of. They live there for a reason and for a company to pray on the poor is inhumane. They should be ashamed of themselves but I guess that's what greed does to people.
Is supposed to tow people who don't have parking permits for the apartment complex I live in, instead they spend their time harassing residents that are supposed to be parked there for having out of date inspection or tags. Do something more helpful for a change.
Driver was very rude and the woman on the phone is of 0 help. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Before driver hooked the car, came knocking on the door to stop to show it is my car. Ignored me and hooked it up. Then said since it is hooked, it will be $100. Then lied saying it was hooked before arrived to car. Driver said to go show the pass so he can drive off and charge $250. Thankfully people were outside watching to avoid it. Multiple saw and on my side. It was very apparent and obvious that the people the driver work for and the driver only cater to white people. They will treat anyone of another race/ ethnicity like they are trash and will lie and disrespect you. If you are a minority and are having the displeasure of working with this company, good luck. They will call police in attempt to have you killed by them. Be safe.
Trucks starter went bad in town. Called them at 9am, the truck was delivered to my house an hour later. Very professional and business oriented. They provided excellent customer service from the first phone call to the in person dialog with the driver. Prices are fair and reasonable.
Our driver, Jack, was helpful and nice. He performed his job quickly, but he also went above and beyond, to locate a trustworthy auto repair place for us.
We were stranded, 50 miles from home. Jack made an unpleasant experience a lot easier for us. We both thank him and very much appreciate his help - I wish I could give him more stars!
I have dealt with these guys several times. Despite my bias against them since they towed my car from my own home and still charged me for it, they are rough to communicate with and seem uninterested in serving their clients while maintaining a proper level of empathy or respect. I hope future interactions will improve; however, so far I'm not pleased.
Hook -n- Up is one of the Best Companies, I’ve ever had the privilege of using. I was out of town on Thursday September 2, 2021.About 10 AM wife’s vehicle broke down. She let AARP Roadside know. She’s 79 years old and not from this area She was left hanging for 4 hours in Walmart parking lot , by the local AARP roadside service ( which we have since canceled) provider . The “dispatcher “at that service, which is a half of a mile , from Walmart, told me , after I called at one PM , that she had no information including my wife’s phone number and actually asked me if my wife was at Walmart in another county , even though my wife had received numerous text messages that a recovery vehicle , was going to be there, at noon . .By 2 PM , my wife had become uncomfortable and nearly distraught. I called Hook -n- Up . The lady who answered the phone, went beyond professionalism. She conveys a sense of urgency and sympathy, for my precious family member and the situation at hand. She and one of her great drivers were on the job immediately. The vehicle and my wife were home in less than an hour. It’s nice to know there are still some good and ethical businesses like Hook -n Up , who truly care , about the community and elderly citizens.
Locked myself out of my car with my four month old inside. They were the only place in Culpeper that answered on a Saturday and said there were two others ahead of me and it would be an hour wait. Once I told them about the baby they were there in ten minutes. I’m beyond appreciative!!
I called because my tire blew while driving they came quick very polite and reasonable prices. I will call again when needed. I thank them for helping make it better during a stressful time
Trustworthy and friendly. They made the worst possible situation feel better. They towed our vehicle to their lot after a catastrophic accident. They noticed expensive personal items inside and covered the vehicle with a tarp so that the items inside would not be damaged by rain. When we showed up without an appt., and they happened to be there, they let us retrieve our items and waited patiently as we went through it several times to make sure we didn’t miss anything. Thank you Hook-n-up!
Towed my car from parking lot Reached here to to pay my towed bill forgot my wallet in rush , they didn’t wait for me to get my wallet from work they shut down their garage and told me to wait untill they come back from their work , I had to wait 30 mins to pick up my own car in the street . They are looking for easy big money . Don’t know how to behave .no friendly at all
I was broke down out in culpepper and called geico for a tow. They sent out this company, called around 1:40pm. Geico said they should be there in about an hour by 2:45pm. Guy named Joe shows up at about 2:15pm ready to rock. Extremely nice fellow and chatty. Couldn't have asked for a better person to come and tow me. Took us all the way back to Fredericksburg. Of course geico took care of the tow but I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area. Thanks Joe! We appreciated it.
Original tow company was a no-show so insurance tried Hook-N-Up. HNU showed up at my location fast, about fifteen minutes before the estimated time they gave me. Their driver was quick, friebdlf, and had me out in no time.
