Best bunch of guys ever, Especially love Sam.....My first time at this business and state inspection took a little longer than expected, but the service was exceptional and all the employees were very polite, so much so that I felt inclined to leave a tip to the gentleman that did my inspection as it was very cold so he pulled my vehicle to the front so that I did not have to walk in the cold....I will definitely be back....This place reminds me of how we grew up and how I wish businesses were today, Because most businesses thrive on profit, This business here thrives on customers and that speaks volumes....Thank you guys for impeccable service
I can’t say I am completely satisfied with Craig County Automotive! Granted I have never been there nor have I had any work done there! My review is for a phone call!! I happen to be in New Castle doing a housecleaning job with my daughter and my jeep wouldn’t start (battery going bad) i have a jump box that normally gets the job done however this day it was VERY COLD outside and the box just wasn’t cutting it! So I called Craig County Automotive to ask them if someone there would please come jump my jeep…I mean they were literally just a couple miles away and I did not know anyone at all in that area! So I explained the situation to the guy and told him I was from out of town…blah…blah…blah…and asked if someone could come help me! Needless to say the dude acted as if I was bothering him and said “No we don’t have anyone that can” and he quickly hung up on me!! And this all took place right at quitting time around 5:00!! So I can’t say that I am at all impressed with Craig County Automotive!! Not only would they not help me but he showed absolutely NO INTEREST in even giving me ANY information as to where or who I could possibly get help from!! He instead Hung Up on Me!! NOT Nice! 😡
Ed and the crew do a good job at fair prices. Being a small business can hamper turn around time. In general they make a concerted effort to take care of their customers and get the repairs done expeditiously. Key points to consider they are trustworthy and honest, if they tell you a part needs replacement then it needs replacement. No fluff just a good shop to do business with. I will continue to trade with them for years to come.
Don't bother making an appointment because they pay no attention to them. Work is never finished when they say it will be. The biggest issue however, is the fact that you can set up an appointment but they are never on schedule.
Used to be a half decent place until the guy named Allen left. They should have gave a pay raise and kept him. Now only decent places are in salem and roanoke
